Hi guys just joined this group last night.I like to read lots of things but mainly romance. I like the idea of challenges. I sometimes need help deciding what to read next. My tbr pile is always growing. I enjoy buying as much as I enjoy reading them:).

Hi I'm Kelly and I'm living in the Uk, although originally from NZ. I'm a complete challenge noob, but I absolutely adore reading and all this sure sounds like fun! My favoured genres are paranormal/urban fantasy, non fiction, crime/thriller/horror and I'm always up for contemporary or chick-lit. My boyfriend got me a tablet for Xmas last year and since then I've been sellotaped to it!!

Hey, I've been lurking for a while now and have started a few challenges so figured it was time to introduce myself.I'm Ryan. 26. A teacher from Guernsey in the British Isles.
Favourite genres: I'll give anything a shot once (I even read Twilight when it came out, although only to impress a girl). The genre I read most though is thrillers, especially crime or mystery.
I'm a newcomer to challenges, although I have jumped into the deep end. It all started with a summer reading challenge (which is almost killing me!)
Favourite authors: Agatha Christie, Harlan Coben, Lee Child
Favourite books: Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy, Harry Potter (esp Goblet of Fire, not so much Order of the Phoenix), most things by the above mentioned authors (although every author has a dud once in a while!)

Hey Ryan, welcome. I completely agree with you by the way about Harry Potter. My favorite may be Half Blood Prince, but I agree that Order of the Phoenix was just too.... It was a good story line, but dragged big time in certain parts. Took me a bit to get through it.

Hi, I'm Lydia. I live, work, and read out of Atlanta, Georgia, USA. I don't really have a favorite genre per se, I tend to cycle through them. I'm reading a lot of mystery and historical fiction at the moment but that's likely to change at any moment. I have challenged myself quite a bit over the years but rarely have I participated in any degree of formal challenge.

I am addicted to used book (I have over 200 cluttering up my NYC apartment). I have an awesome husband who I am slowly getting into reading. I have a really crazy cat named Whistler. She's my icon photo. I'm a mod at my own community on GR that's sort of a challenge within itself relating to prize winning fiction. I'm excited for this group!
