HI! I'm Brittany. I'm live in Pennsylvania with my fiance and our three kids. He's currently deployed. I read a lot of YA and Adult. Chic-lit lately actually. My shelves say it all! I like to think I'm a pro at challenges. I've read 14 books in 17 days just because I love reading.
Hi everyone, my name's Isabel and I adopted the Scottish version of my name - Beileag (Diminutive of Iseabail) - here on GoodReads (true, I have a thing for highland warriors, therefore the inspiration). I am from Portugal and intend to travel as much as I can (Scotland included... especially "William Lawson's studios"). My favorite genres are paranormal and historical romance. Some of my favorite books belong to Dark Hunter Universe and Black Dagger Brotherhood, as for historical romance, here are some of my favorite series:McCabe Trilogy, The Montgomerys and Armstrongs, Brotherhood/MacAllister, Highland Guard etc. etc. etc.. I'm not exactly a newcomer but I'm also not a pro at challenges, but I'm definitely working on that :), already glimpsed some great challenges in this group!!

♥Any thing else you would like to share! I love to read and get recommendations from my book friends and I'm going to have a go at a few challenges!
Hi everyone, I'm Marty. I live in Kansas City, Missouri. My favorite genres tend to be historical fiction and mysteries. I would say I'm a pro at challenges, since I'm a member of CCC and the Seasonal Reading Challenge groups. Challenge addict would probably be a better description! I'm also a reference librarian at a local community college, so finding new and interesting titles to read is no problem (in fact, it can be a bit of a hazard, LOL!)
Hi, I'm jingles. I'm pretty new to Goodreads. I've done some basic reading challenges in the past (read so many books in a year, very basic), but nothing like what I've found here at Goodreads.I've always loved to read and will read just about anything.
Hi, my name is Angela, but most just call me Ang. I live in Michigan with my two children, 1 boy and 1 girl. I like just about any book, but love anything with the paranormal in it. I am not only new to challenges but new to Goodreads as well(just found it 2 days ago). I love to read and normally go through a book in a day, two at the most, but have recently taken up knitting, which has cut down on reading time...I need more hours in the day!

Hi!! I am Melissa! I live near Pittsburgh, PA with my husband & 3 kids. My oldest, Ashleigh, is disabled, & has a lot of health issues. My boys (Noah & Ethan) are a handful at times. I love Romance books. When I was in high school, I was into mystery books. I love Susan Mallery's books!!!
I have done reading challenges since 2011. I love doing reading challenges. It helps show my children that reading is important. If they see me reading then I think maybe they will sit down with me to read, too. Well, that is my plan anyway!! =)
Thanks for the invite Shellbelle.
Hello!!♥Your name?
My name is Tiffany but I prefer to be called Tiff (it's much shorter to type HAHA) In truth, I'd actually respond to any nickname you might want to give me. :) (Make sure you tell me first, though. ;) )
♥Where are you from?
I'm from the Philippines! :)
♥Your favorite Genre?
Generally, it's more of romance than anything. My favorite authors are the likes of Julie James, Abbi Glines, Sylvia Day and Lisa Kleypas :)
♥Are you a pro at challenges or a newcomer?
I've been trying out challenges for a while now and I've come to really enjoy. I'm a total challenge addict now. ;)
Hello everyone. My name is Tessa, I'm 23 years old and I'm from Belgium. I have been a voracious reader from when I was a little girl. I'd love to meet new friends and discuss my favorite books here. My favorite genres are horror and fantasy but ever since I took 1 year of courses in English literature at the University, my TBR list has exploded and I have discovered authors and genres I never thought I'd like and now I read almost anything.I consider myself to be a renaissance soul, which means I have so many interests that I usually don't know where to begin and I frequently hop from one thing to another. Some of my main interests are literature, language, movies, biology, psychology, paranormal and occult stuff, manga and anime, games, mythology, history and art, folklore and fairy tales etc.
I'd love to start a challenge but I'm a bit overwhelmed by the choices and don't know where to begin so I was wondering if someone could give me a hint as to where to start. I'm hoping to start with something small and easy because I'm a noob in these matters and I don't have much time to read because I'm also involved in an amateur theatre group and I practice scuba diving whilst working full-time :)
Hoping to get to know you a a bit better soon!
Hi Tessa! Check out the mini and monthly challenges. Those are pretty low key. The monthly ones have a lot of different levels so you can fit them into your reading schedule.

Hi Tessa, I like to read a few non-challenge books too, so I started with 2 month, 3 month or 6 month challenges, so I have enough time to read challenge books and whatever I come across that looks good. Now, I do multiple challenges simultaneously so I can read lots of books and complete lots of challenges. To track challenges, I have a comment on my profile page where I list links to all my current challenges, I used to have a log to track my challenges and I just created a group to track my completed challenges (thanks to Barbara).
Good luck and have fun!
Hey, I'm Jojiwoji and I'm from Sydney, Australia. I'm new to challenges, I usually only do seasonal ones, and generally not in a challenge-specific group. My favourite genre would be fantasy, and I like to stick to YA unless I know the adult books are appropriate + interesting.

My name is Leslie and I live in Spanaway, WA with my fiance and our soon to be baby girl. I'm more of a general reader meaning I will try any book in any genre, although I can't say I will like it. I found that I do tend to lean toward the women's literature more, but again I like to expand. I am fairly new to reading challenges but am enjoying them very much.
Hello everyone, I'm Betelgeuse and I'm an Italian reader.I signed up recently on Goodreads, so I'm new to this kind of challenges!
I love fantasy and paranormal books, with some ideas for the young adult special.
I like science fiction stories, especially the classic ones, but I like to discover new authors.
Shannon wrote: "Welcome Betelgeuse :) Fan of astronomy or the movie? Lol."Absolutely fan of astronomy!
I have to divide my free time between stars and books!
(Although lately with the bad weather I have "seen" more books than stars)
Hahaha, I took Astronomy 101 in 2005 and its damn hard to wrap your brain around some if those facts lol. Welcome!
Hi, I'm Amanda, from a teeny tiny town in Western Australia. I read a huge range of genres but am trying to get more into biographies and historical books. New to Goodreads and challenges, but it looks fun :-)
Hi! I'm Kari and I live in Spain. I read mostly romance of all types. I'm new at challenges so I'll probably start with the easy-piecey ones :). It looks like a really fun group!
Hi Kari! Check out the mini and monthly challenges. There's a bunch that fit to the most hectic schedules.
I'm back! I've been in this group before and have now rejoined as I miss the challenges. I've yet to join any, as I have a pile of books to review before I can choose myself, what I want to read.I hope to have a good time in here, just like I had last time :)
Hey, I am Tom, I am from Germany. I love to read (well, otherwise I wouldn't be here) and I decided to join some groups here to have some nice conversations. Oh and I wanted to ask if there are any other germans here, since none of my friends use this website ;).
