•Introductions

Currently, I work with toddlers as a teacher in a daycare. It's not exactly my dream job, or the best use of my degree, but it works for now. I am going back to school in August to work towards a degree in education so that I can become a third grade teacher. I also plan on doing another major in either microbiology or anthropology. I do enjoy some aspects of my job such as being able to teach my children and the joy that I receive when they finally catch on to what I've taught them. I also enjoy the smiles, hugs, and kisses that I get from my kids when I come to work in the mornings.
I am an avid reader and have been since I was a child. I generally read anything except westerns, romance, and inspirational/Christian books. I quite enjoy horror, fantasy, historical fiction, and mysteries. I have also gotten into the Quirk classics recently. Right now, I am reading Android Karenina. Classic literature is another favorite of mine with Edgar Allan Poe, Jane Austen, the Bronte sisters, HP Lovecraft, Victor Hugo, and Gaston LeRoux being among my favorites.
I look forward to making new friends and taking part in book discussions.

I'm a newcomer who is keen to have a go.
♥Any thing else you would like to share!
I'm a mummy who loves to curl up with a Cupcake, a Latte and a good book when my little ones (I have 2) are fast asleep. It's the only time I get to read :D

Welcome to GoodReads and to the group! Enjoy, but be careful, GoodReads and reading challenges are addicting.

♥Where are you from? Florida
♥Your favorite Genre? I love pretty every type of genre.
♥Are you a pro at challenges or a newcomer? I've done a couple before so I'm not a newcomer but I am not a pro.

I live in India. I read pretty much most sub-genres of romance. My comfort genre is Contemporary-Romance. I'm trying to broaden my horizons - so moving away from Romance and out to Fantasy. I just love discovering a new genre - all the new authors and series just waiting to be read *droool*.
Anyway, I'm glad to be a part of this group and hopefully I will manage my challenge addiction this year.

I am an engineer and travel a lot for work, always with my nook loaded with books. I like almost any genre, except for spy novels. Tom Clancy bores me to tears.
I'm looking forward to participating in some challenges, I hope they'll lead me to new authors I wouldn't pick for myself.

♥Where are you from? England
♥Your favorite Genre? PNR
♥Are you a pro at challenges or a newcomer? Sort of both, recently got into them big style this year :D
♥Any thing else you would like to share! I'm a book addict :/ I love like heavy metal :D
So many new members I can't keep up with welcoming everyone! :D (Ok, I blame GR's failure to send me notifications for that... XD)
It's great to have you all!! ♥
It's great to have you all!! ♥

Anyways, Ha!
Welcome to the group Barbara and Cassie!

I'm Dijun, 23 yo, French but living in London at the moment. I read since I'm very small but stopped at the university because of the lack of time. I'm now forcing myself to get back in the book world and it does work at the moment. I love Goodreads, I love Challenges and I thought it would be a nice group to join.
I don't really have a favourite genre though I read a lot of British/French/Japanese litterature. (18/19 century for Brit/Fr, more contemporary for Jpn). Maybe because I'm a 5 year student in Japanese-English languages and Business.
that's all, I hope I'll have fun =)

so you're from Macedonia and though I know the country, I wonder...what languages do you talk there? =) I had a look at your profile page and it's pretty but it doesn't look like one of the family of languages I know. (I'm a bit of a language fan.)

I myself am a language fan, studied English, German and Spanish:)

I don't have favorite genre. I'm more of mood reader.
I started collecting challenges four months ago. Became kinda addicted :)
Just give me book, hot chocolate (or anything else with chocolate) and cozy chair and you won't know I'm there. :)
