Some series that i enjoy reading are Harry Potter, Pecry Jackson, Heroes Of Olympus, Alex Rider, Artemis Fowl, 39c lues, Cahills vs Vespers, Adventure Series, Hunger Games, Famous Five, Secret Seven, Five Find-outers,and comics like Phantom, Archies, etc.

Maybe we could have a discussion about "Just wanted to share" or "Hot Gossip" or "News Flash" or some other cute discussion so people can post their news to their friends in the group, but it doesn't quite fall under Introductions or a Book or Challenge Discussion.
Just a thought...

I have hardly posted anything for the last couple of days as I haven't quite had enough t..."
Oh, I didn't mind Eve, I just think we should have a better place to put messages from group members. I was just using you as an example, sorry if you felt persecuted. No offense intended. :)

I don't have a favourite genre as my tastes change with my mood. I tend to read a lot of fantasy and sci/fi along with historical fiction and non-fiction, but I'll read almost anything.
I'm a newcomer but I've almost completed my reading challenge for 2012. I'm looking forward to setting new challenges for 2013.
I'm also finishing up writing my first novel, which should be done by the end of this year. (Another challenge!)

I can't tell you, security resons.
YA. I can only readd YA.
NEWCOMERRR. I join challenges, but then forget about them.
I L O V E READiNG!!

Hi!
I'm Donica. I'm from sunny South Florida. I don't really have a favorite genre. I read a bit of everything. I however read A LOT! Laugh, a friend of mine who gets my updates from here thinks there should be an 12 step program for reading. Heh, NO! I'm a newbie to challenges so this should be interesting! I am looking forward to being exposed to new books and authors. This website is great with their recommendations. I am never at a loss for material in my to read section.
Have a wonderful day people!

My name is Hina and I am from Chicago, IL. I really don't have one favorite genre, I seem to love most of them!! I have been in the RRRC for a while so I am not new to challenges. Like you, I am addicted to reading and have to be torn away from my books. When e-readers came out, my family and fiancee were relieved that now I won't be cluttering every space with the books I buy. :)

I'm new to challenges, so I'm going to sit back and watch for a while... otherwise I might find myself skydiving or bungee jumping by mistake!

This year I decided to change that and I signed up for a challenge which SHOULD be easy, since I love historical books. I'm reading at least 25 books with historical settings in 2013.
And I created my own challenge. If it's appropriate I'll share the link. If not, no prob. Anyway, it's a TBR challenge in an attempt to put a dent in my stash of books--both digital and print--that I've acquired but not gotten around to reading yet.
I'm glad to find this group. Maybe I'll find the motivation to actually follow through! Thanks for the opportunity!

UPDATE: I am still going to do The Kinsey Milhone Series challenge and the You Have The Right To Remain Silent challenge, but I removed my 2013 log in the Challenge/Reading Logs section and instead entered my challenges on the actual Challenge thread.

I'm originally from San Antonio Texas, but now live in Milwaukee Wisconsin. I am afflicted with "malignant bibliomania" ... Not looking for a cure, though, as I love to read.
I read just about anything with words, but prefer literary fiction. I also enjoy classics, mysteries, YA fiction, nonfiction and memoir. Not a great fan of fantasy, paranormal, romance genres (but I've read them ... how would I know they're not my style if I didn't at least try them?)
I'm in several F2F book groups and an active participant in both Shelfari and Good Reads groups. Love the challenges!
Diana S told me about this group and I just couldn't resist. New year, new group, new challenges!
I'm married - no kids, no pets. I work in healthcare as an office manager for a group of pediatric surgeons. Besides reading I enjoy cooking, travel, live theatre (in the audience, not on the stage).

♥Location: Pompano Beach, Florida (near Ft. Lauderdale)
♥Favorite Genre(s): YA PRN, PRN Romance, PRN BDSM/Erotic, however I am open to reading almost anything.
♥Pro or Newcomer: Newcomer to challenges (I have done a few) but game for just about anything
♥Anything else: I am obessed with reading but find it hard while working so much....the nerve of my job wanting me to actually work. lol

I also participate in several other groups and have yet to decide if I obsess over reading more, or obsess over choosing just the right choice of books for challenges. (so yes, I'm familiar with them)
I tend to read much more during holidays as I'm a school principal, and that work stuff seems to get in the way of my pleasure reading! As a result, you'll see that I often dip into the higher levels of children's lit or tame versions of YA - those are generally coming from my 6th grade students as recommendations. :)

I would say I'm a challenge amateur, I like a challenge and have done a few but I'm not a professional at them.
I'm really looking forward to finishing the lecture part of my Masters course and getting into the lab so I have some guilt free evenings for reading!!

♥Where are you from? Vienna, Austria
♥Your favorite Genre? UF, I am a huge fan of the Kate Daniels world, dystopia, some romance, some classic fantasy and scifi, but I read about anything if it holds my interest!
♥Are you a pro at challenges or a newcomer? newcomer, I tend to make a lot of lists and plans only to find out about weeks or months later that I did not do anything from the list :-) However, I hope to finish a few challenges in the TCF group this year, you've a lot of stuff I'm interested in, thanks so much!
♥Since I bought a Kindle this summer I am reading a lot more, I love hanging out in coffee shops and get lost in the book I'm reading ...
A big WELCOME! to our new members!!! We are happy you joined our group and hope you enjoy the challenges:)

I am not a new member but I have not been active on here for quite a while now. I am hoping to pop in much more regularly again but I will not be joining many challenges yet, I still have a long way to go before I am back to myself again.
I look forward to following your progress and keeping an eye on you all, I will be cheering you on.
Adele
Hi Adele! Glad you stopped by and I hope you are feeling back to normal soon:) Glad to have you as a cheerleader but can't wait till your back at it!!!

Welcome Morgan! Happy to have you in the group and if you like reading challenges you are in the right place!
