Ky or Xander?
Really? I don't think this author likes surprise endings. Everything went just as I thought.
Xander... he's the right choice.She'll be happy with him and she won't get into trouble.

He is mysterious cause you barely know ANYTHING about him! All you know is that he is Cassia's friend and he cares about her.
DELIRIUM by Lauren Oliver is ten times better than this book. read it !

Yes..Well Lauren Oliver is a better writer.

I didn't read Crossed. So...
Ive JUST finished the book and I have to say first that it is an amazing book to read. I think that Xander is a sweet, caring guy but I dont't think that even if Ky wasn't there that she wouldn't have really fallen for him cause she just wanted to be friends. And yes she did say that she wanted someone like Xander but she was onyl saying that cause of how nice and sweet he is. Ky is quiet, smart, sweet and caring and is also someone who went through a lot in his life. He is careful of everything he does because of the Officials that watch over him. He knows what will happen when they see him do better, which is why he tries to keep on the DL.
What you have to think about is that what Ky and Cassia had together was meant to be "a very intriguing subject" and it was all to see how far they could push them till the would break. What Ky and Cassia had was not real, in my opinion, and what Cassia had with Xander had was real.
Cassia fell in love with Ky's story but yet I am stil wanting them to be together at the end. Everyone she loves is risking everything for her to be with Ky so I want to see if they actually do get together.
Ky all the way, but I still love Xander at the same time... ^_^

I know she most likely choose Xander, but I really like him. I'll go with the underdog :)
I think Cassia is more in love with the freedom that he represents or used to have and shes not in love with HIM.Xander is sweet but she never let herself fall for him cause she was so over the hills with Ky to see what could've been for them.
In the end it was just a game for the Officials to play with them. All they were was "a intriguing subject" and they controlled everything they did together. They made it so that they couldn't stop thinking about each other, put them as partners on the hiking trip, and even made it so that she had to sort out of his work. On the shift that he worked.
THe rebellion is coming soon in the towns and soon everyone will see it and be apart of it. Soon they will take ppl like they did Ky in order to fight. It will be interesting to see how everything plays out ^_^
I definately think Ky will end up with her even though i think it's just so sad she gave up Xander. i think he's the better man but girls like guys they don't fully understand, I guess it's the tall dark and mysterious thing goin there, but I love XAnder cause he's farmiliar, sweet, and funny.

I have to say this. I named a character in one of my stories 'Ky' and my mom couldn't figure out if it was a guy or girl. It was so embarrassing. I love Ky!!!

Xander he is so perfect for her!! Why does she have to rebel to be with Ky?
I'm reading Crossed now (I'm just at the beggining) and this question is killing me cos Xander is AMAZING, he always seemed more real than KY and although Ky is the intellectual mysterious hottie she wouldnt have looked twice at him if it wasn't for the glitch URGH i know she's gonna pick Ky but i think she needs to admit to herself that Xander is the best friend she's actually in love with. (something she does at the begining of the new book which kinda makes u think that)

Really I don't hate Xander, I think he is sweet. But I like Ky since the minute I found out about his charecter. Srry guys!!!!

Well you don't really get to see whats go on with Xander but you learn a lot. & for me personally I really like Xander. I used to like Ky more but he is more about a freedom rather than what I think that she really wants. It is the idea of him. I like Xander's personality better. My personal opinion

I love Xander, but after finishing Matched I feel like there's not really any hope of a love triangle here. Cassia spent pretty much 75% of the book obsessing over her forbidden love with Ky, 20% of the book sorting out what her Grandfather's hopes for her were and finally the last 5% feeling guilty about not loving Xander in a romantic way. I really wanted Cassia to end up with Xander, but Ally Condie has done a pretty crappy job at writing a convincing triangle. It's so unbalanced. I feel like Xander's just the poor guy who keeps getting put in the friend zone. So to answer the question, I love Xander, but I definitely think she's going to end up with Ky. Xander's been shot down too many times by Cassia for me to actually believe that he still has a legitimate chance.Oh also, I don't really agree with the Gale/Xander and Peeta/Ky comparisions. Personally I think Gale and Ky are more alike in the sense that they both are the rebellious types. Peeta and Xander are both the nice guy types who just want to protect the main character.
In Matched I was more swayed toward Xander and admittedly he makes me *swoon* even when he appears in the second book, but in Crossed I really fell for Ky as we found out more about him.

Gale is more like Ky than Xander and Peeta is more like Xander than Ky...It's not really a love triangle in the first place..
It's SO hard to choose! I absolutely love picturing Cassia and Ky together, but Xander is just sooo good to her! I don't even know who I would choose...
I'm going with Xander after book 2...I really am starting to dislike Kai. It's like he was the untouchable and that's what drew Kassia to him. Now that she has him he's no longer the shiny, untouchable, new toy.

I just believe that Xander is more willing to open up to Cassia & tell her anything wether he has gotten the chance or not. He wants to share all of himself with her. Where as Ky is holding a lot back.
I really didn't like Ky. I don't know. I don't want to like him. He seems dangerous. He isn't easy to like, compared to the other guys from other books. I just don't like him but I know he'll end up with Cassia. And poor Xander, so nice and sweet, will be taken for granted. Oh I hate that! By the way, Matched is like Delirium only Delirium is better. Though I hate Alex for some reasons. Hmmm....
Um Xander. No homo. Ky should be with Indie. DUH. But I bet Xander winds up with Indie. Cassia should just be with me. Makes life so much easier for everyone
And Ky is like Gale in that he is rebellious, but he is not reckless and ruthless like Gale. He understands things Gale didn't. I think Xander entering the Rising so quickly was a Gale move. Ky was like Peeta in the Rising situation. So you can't compare these characters. It's too complicated.

Like they couldn't have any poems or anything like that. He taught her and that is like what Ky is doing for Cassia.

I think that she will end up with Ky and will end up with Xander if Ky is killed. I think she should be with Xander though. I don't think that she even got to know Ky that well. They just hiked and hiked and hiked and then kissed. She's known Xander for so long and I felt so bad when she wouldn't kiss him at the end when he got her the blue pills!!! I really starting to think that Ky is going to die and then she'll somehow end up with Xander unless she decides to add a 3rd guy to the love triangle which would make me SO MAD!
There's no doubt that Cassia will end up with Ky. But, you can't help but feel a little sympathy for Xander. I mean he loved the girl and everything. But Ky is so sweet and deep. It's all Cassia's fault! no offense Cassia fans.:)
Probably Ky, but it's so sad how much Xander wants to be with Cassia! I'm glad it's not me who has to choose!
Ky, definitely. Xander is her best friend, and I don't think she ever really "love-loved" him like she did Ky. Xander is her best friend, but Ky is her soul mate.
I feel like her relationship with Xander seems so forced.
