Android Marketplace Misuse of Goodreads reviews?

I would first check you settings. Under My Account --> Settings, there is a "allow partners of Goodreads to display my reviews."

The default use to be checked and you had to uncheck it to opt-out. I know there was some talk about changing it, but I'm not sure if it's happened yet. So I would double check that. :)

If you don't have that box checked, my guess would be that it's Google being Google. If I recall correctly from the recent privacy debacle, Google was using reviews even when other sites weren't, and that was something Goodreads was going to look into correcting. Again though, I'm not sure what's come of it.

This is probably something to bring up in the Feedback group, not the Librarians group. Librarians don't have any say over this and can't really do anything regarding it.
