I wondered the same thing, and it appears that it is. I was really hoping that it would have a sequel! I am looking forward to the authors new trilogy though.

This book defiantly does NOT need a sequel! I really liked how the first one ended :D

It doesn't NEED a sequel, but because the story was so good, it would be nice to be able to read more of it.

Her next book-not a seqel-is supposed to come out sometime this year. :) So, I cant wait for that. :D

Yeah it would be nice if there was a sequel, I mean I like how it ended but I wanted more of Sydelle and Wayland and the romance and I wanted to see how much Sydelle's character would grow as far as her magic would take her. But definitely looking forward to her next book for sure.

This book was beyond amazing! And although I would really like to find out what happens with Wayland..I don't mind that this is a standalone book, because it is completely perfect the way it is. But again absolutely LOVED this book, it was actually the reason why I started a goodreads, I wanted to write a review for it lol.

I think it would be good to have a sequel because, this book has so many flaws.. so many pieces to be put it together.
But i enjoyed reading this book. North is such an adorable character and i'm curious to know what is going to happens with his curse.
