How did you like the Cara Lockwood book? I loved it. I can't remember if that's the second one or not, but if not, there is a second one that's just as good as the first one. =)
I have really been slacking! I'm in the middle of reading 3 different books right now... STILL trying to get through One Day, and then I started 2 others. Hopefully I'll finish one of them soon!

Haha, I would totally give up except that my coworker let me borrow her book and she loved it. By the way--only a few more days!! I read on Kiersten White's blog that she will sign Stephanie Perkins' books since they are friends, so I'm bringing my copy of Lola and the Boy Next Door. She said she'll sign by her name in the acknowledgments. :)

It's the first and it was great, really fun. I'm definitely reading the second one!!

LOL, I feel stupid now. :) I've always liked G&R, but didn't know any names except Axl and Slash. :)
Duff's doing a few signings here (Seattle is his hometown) and I really want to go to one. Problem is I didn't buy the book from any of the three stores doing signings, so I can't get a ticket without buying another copy. I know at least one of the stores allows people who bought the book elsewhere to come, but they have to wait until everyone else gets their books signed.I haven't read Slash's memoir, but after reading Duff's I really want to so I can compare the stories.

Sounds interesting! I've done that before where I bought the book long before the signing. And I had to wait FOREVER to even get in line, then FOREVER MORE to snake through the store in the line to get my book signed. I'd do it though if I were you, that's awesome!

OOohhh one of my all time favorite RDI's! I think she is writing another YA novel. I always hope she will write another adult novel (although I do enjoy her YA books as well!)

Usually, I love these behind the scenes Hollywood type books. But this one....not so much. For a less than 250 page book, it was HARD to get through. The lead character was so WEAK MINDED!!! UGH! This is more the behind the scenes of a soap opera and the whole book reminded me of a soap opera. There's a reason I don't watch them and I've been reminded of that by reading this.

Completely disturbing. It makes you feel so gritty that there are people in this world that will do this, and then you feel anger that the police let it happen for so long. *shudder* It's great to read where she is now and how she is healing.

The fact that they were in his home so many times (with her in the backyard) and received reports of him having young girls there, but still didn't find her and her daughters is so horrifying. I want to read A Stolen Life, but know that it's going to be far too disturbing.
