- a young child by the name of Dave is stuck at home, which isn't very sanitary...nor clean or nice. he's one of 3 young brothers, & lives with both his mother & father. in the beginning of his story, he's living a nice love filled life with joy & laughter from his family & family friends. in a matter of days his mother turns into a raging drunk because her husband...dave's father is always working & never home. she wishes she had all his attention, but she doesn't. it seems as if every chance she might have along with her husband, dave steals the spotlight & spends quality father son time with his dad. once dave realizes whats changing he's scared that things will never be the same as before & normal is far to come.
the story becomes intense from the 1st paragraph, & i can kind of feel dave's pain because the way he writes whats happening seems so realistic, i can't help but feel bad for him. to know this is a true story it breaks my heart cause i feel that at the end of this story, this young boy will have already gone through so much traumatic events.
