Tamahome | 7230 comments RT @Swordandlaser Big interview for next week! @Veronica is especially excited. No, it's not "you know who." Can you guess?

I'm going to guess John Brunner. Is he alive?

Anne Schüßler (anneschuessler) | 847 comments Jim Butcher? Just a wild guess, I really don't know, but I thought I'd just go and guess something.

message 3: by terpkristin (new)

terpkristin | 4407 comments Tad Williams is my guess. I think she mentioned getting his info and I know she loves his work. Hmm maybe we'll read one of his books next, we are due for fantasy...

message 4: by Tamahome (new)

Tamahome | 7230 comments Since Tina Fey doesn't write sf, I'm going to say Gail Carriger.

message 5: by Ralffie (new)

Ralffie | 26 comments Neil Gaiman is my guess. But it is probably Tad Williams.

message 6: by Anne (new)

Anne Schüßler (anneschuessler) | 847 comments Oh, I would LOVE Neil Gaiman. Tad Williams makes sense, though.

toria (vikz writes) (victoriavikzwrites) As long as it's not a vampire.

Is it me? It was me, wasn't it?

message 9: by Sean (new)

Sean O'Hara (seanohara) | 2365 comments Since Veronica's the one who's excited, I'm going to guess Stephanie Meyer.

message 10: by Nevan (new)

Nevan | 143 comments My guess is that it's someone whom Veronica met (and subsequently charmed!) at DragonCon. Anyone have a list of authors at DragonCon?

I almost bought a colossal Tad Williams novel earlier purely on V's recommendation. I might have to buy it for next week....

toria (vikz writes) (victoriavikzwrites) Maybe Veronica interviewed Tom.

See what I did there?

Jenny (Reading Envy) (readingenvy) | 2898 comments Oh Neil would be awesome!

Jenny (Reading Envy) (readingenvy) | 2898 comments Hmm, maybe Patrick Rothfuss since he's said he has a crush on her before?

message 15: by Nick (last edited Sep 14, 2011 11:47AM) (new)

Nick (whyzen) | 1295 comments Terry Pratchett would be a cool interview. Doubt that's the interview though. I dunno .. Connie Willis maybe? Since she won the Hugo again.

He did a cameo on "The Guild" recently. Hilarious! A scene with Zaboo where Gaiman is approaching Zaboo like he's the Godfather.

Is it Whil Wheaton?

Tamahome | 7230 comments Ala wrote: "Is it Whil Wheaton?"

It could be John Scalzi, narrated by Whil Wheaton.

message 21: by Bryan (new)

Bryan Lincoln | 2 comments It is Tad Williams. His way-cool wife (@MrsTad on twitter) spilled the beans earlier today.

message 22: by Kate (new)

Kate O'Hanlon (kateohanlon) | 778 comments Looks like I'm going to have to buckle down and read some Tad Williams so.

Jenny (Reading Envy) (readingenvy) | 2898 comments Is that a hint for our next book pick too?

Tom Merritt (tommerritt) | 1195 comments Mod
It's perfect! I can use it in my no-ship.

message 29: by Tamahome (new)

Tamahome | 7230 comments Marvel comics used to give out no-prizes for clever letters. It helped if you said you renewed your subscription. I believe GRRM won one as a youth.
