Should there be a movie?

I think there should be but Im worried that they will mess it up because of what they did to Percy Jackson movies.

I think that the books eventually start to drag on and get repetitive and almost annoying as the series goes on. If they made a movie of Evermore it would also turn into a movie series and it too would just drag on. I think it would be too boring really for anyone in the movie industry to want to take on.

Maybe if they only made a movie out of the first book in the series.

Um.... it'd be cool, but it'd be really different than what actually happens, thank you directors. But yeah, not the whole series, just the first one, to leave people wanting to read on :)

So, for me, the answer is no. They shouldn't make a movie out of it if they're just gonna mess up a good book.
Maybe, but most of the time they mess up the movies not putting the best things about the book in them.
I think it would be really cool if they made a movie but they might not put in the best parts and leave something out like they did in Harry Potter.
Hell no! The first book was great but the ret... It was so bad I couldn't even finish the series. If a movie was made, it would look exactly like Twilight (girl meets boy with secret of themselves, can't be together...).
I think it would make a good movie, a I mean really good movie. But if the director makes it something totally different, I swear I'll- nvm
I love these books and couldn't put any of them down. I think they are better written than the twilight saga & I absolutely loved them and have watched each of the 3 films 6/7 times (sad I know)But......
I really don't think these books would work well as a film or films. I can't put my finger or why as Twilight was fantastic in writing and on screen but the immortals just wouldn't work. I think probably because there is less action and adventure with the different characters and it would be to dragged out in film (although I don't feel the books are dragged out.

I agree, I mean the Twilight series was seriously not even known until they made the movie. Now people are falling in love with the Twilight Movies, and not the books. See how twisted society is?
No. They'll mess it up. I really don't want them to mess it up. It would be so sad...

If they make it into a movie, they'll mess everthing up. They'll take out characters, and put in different ones. And everyone would fall in love with the movie and not the book. That would make me want to rip my hair out. I mean because in the TwilightSaga, no one even knew stepehnie meyer. but now they do because of stupid movies. If i become president, i will ban books being made into movies
i dont think they should make this intoa movie its just too difficult to keep up with anda tad bit slow if ya ask me
The first book was actually pretty good. But the rest of the series just went straight downhill; and as we all know, movies are usually worse than the books they're based on, so I can't even imagine what a disaster a movie adaptation of the series would be like.Maybe if they just did one for evermore... but even then, I don't think it would be that good.

Anyways I asked her if there is going to be a movie, and I'm waiting for a response. Fingers crossed it won't be a movie!
Alyson has said on her blog that the film rights have been aquired by Summit for all of these books plus the Riley Bloom series. But there are many steps between rights and the movie actually being made. So it sounds like at this point it could go either way.

No, because the book was too good. The problem with this is that when they try to make most teen books into movies, they dumb them down and the story line for me is usually ruined to a point that I can no longer enjoy the book itself anymore. BUT, if there was a movie I wouldn't be able to resist and it sounds like Summit has the rights so... we'll see.
I think that a movie would be cool but they'ed probably do something that makes it really bad!
Oh no! No no no no no no..... Please leave alone this book! I Don't want a movie made out of this book! Some books are just that beautiful the way they are: Books! They would ruin this book too, like they did to Vampire Diaries and Twilight! So, PLEASE, NO movie for this book or any other book!

The paranormal romance, the enemies, all that crap. Also, people wouldn't even respect Alyson Noel's talent and just give all the credit for the movie!

I'm in the middle of reading Night Star and to be honest it's just because I'm a little OCD when it comes to finishing a series. Ever annoys the heck out of me and I cannot see there being six movies based entirely on her.

yeah your right i think it would be better as a tv show that is a good idea i just got done reading the first one and i got samples of all the other books so i read the first 50 pages of all the rest of the books and i really want to know what happens

when i read the book, i imagine what's happening.. and picture how each one of them look. I dont want a movie because they'll prob. mess uplike twilight. Edward's suppose to be the good looking one and all that
but who looks better? jacob. i mean movies just end up how we dont expect them too
