The book Born on Fourth of July, is a true story of Ron Kovic's journey after he is paralyzed from the waste down because of a battle in Vietnam. To start the book was really surprising with how graphic the descriptions are. The author is really good at getting the image in your head, while on top of that some things described are pretty disgusting. I also found the book interesting and kind of confusing because each chapter changes from 1st person to 3rd person, which is something i'm still trying to figure out, overall my first impressions are great, and the reading is incredibly entertaining,
