Rita | 9 comments Has anyone read any books by Laurie R. King?? It is the Russell & Holmes books I am wondering about. Are they clean??

Elizabeth (emarsh13) Those are some of my favorite books!! I do think they're quite clean, and if you're a Holmes fan, it's a great way to get a new spin on such a beloved character.

joy *the clean-reader extraordinaire* (joytotheworld) | 98 comments isn't there some drug addiction in those?

Rita | 9 comments I noticed that you have read all of them. Is it a serious that I will want to follow in order? I do have the first one on hold at the library and I am excited to start them. Thanks

Elizabeth (emarsh13) Joy - there is a minimal amount (it IS Sherlock Holmes), but not nearly as much in the original series.

Rita - It's definitely a sequential series. Worth the time to find them in order, but you'd be lost if you skipped around.

Emily | 8 comments Here is a review on the first of the Holmes/Russell series: http://www.squeakycleanreads.com/2/po...

I loved it! I've heard they start to get formulaic as you read on in the series, but that the latest ones have begun to be exciting again. Hope this is helpful!

Becky | 2 comments I read the postmistress. I would not say squeaky clean. I remember there was a sex scene I did not like.
