I think science as a sub plot makes a thriller more interesting. The fact that it involves current scientific inquiry is an added bonus. You can be entertained, and informed as well. This is why I shot video of the Alvin program at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution to dovetail the book. It can be viewed at KittyPilgrim.com
