We can merge these profiles to "Arkady Strugatsky", and to add "Boris Strugatsky" as a second author to each book. Then it will be optional to add third and fourth author, if a book was published in language other than English.
Russian (Аркадий Стругацкий; Борис Стругацкий) French (Arcadi Strougatski; Boris Strougatski) German (Arkadi Strugazki; Boris Strugazki)
etc.
imho
how did you actually find all those? I found some, but not that many? I usually type in the simplest form of their name or a popular book. Whats your secret?
It's very simple. Suppose I want to find profiles of Daphne Du Maurier. The family name is not very common, so I'll search only "Maurier". I go to the last page of the results (that's where recently added or edited books are). Then I'll go page by page to find:
1. Daphne duMaurier
2. Dapne du maurier
3. Daphné Du Maurier
4. Maurier (du)
5. Daphnie Du Maurier
6. Maurier Du
7. Daphene du Maurier
8. Daphne Du Maurier
Now, before merging the profiles, it is important to verify that this is Daphne du Maurier and not somebody else (for example, du Murier may refer to George Du Murier).
That's it!
Well I couldnt seem to do that when I was trying to search for various forms of Strugatsky. Well, Im about halfway through them. Thanks!
Im just about done adding Boris to all the books, but when it comes time to combine, am I going to have to do it twice?
Im done with as much as I can do with the Strugatsky brothers. If anyone thinks they can also help to get the last few titles combined, especially if you know NON-cyrillic Russian (I can get the cyrillic stuff translated just fine but not the ABC character ones [forgot what that was called:]), that would be super awesome

Im pretty sure "Piknik Na Obochine" is Roadside Picnic, but other than that, Im lost and Id really like to get this one cleared up.
The proper authors are supposed to be Arkady Strugatsky and Boris Strugatsky I didnt correct it yet because I need the link above to work and them all to be in one place).
Any help is appreciated!
Also, in regards to this, Im still kinda new and unsure of the rules. Now do we put all the main editions in English or their native language? I was about to change everything but the title over to English, but I stopped because I didnt want to mess anything up.
