Why UK Only?

Bruno #3 was just published in the US on August 30. Why is Bruno #4 coming out in the UK so soon, and why not in the US also? Walker is British by background, but he lives in Washington DC (and France). Can anyone explain?

His main publisher is probably in England. He may have another one in the U.S. and another one in France. It's hard to explain but his English publisher has first rights. The same thing happens with Jim Thompson in Finland. A book is published in Finland, then a year later in the U.S., he has it translated in Finnish but then he writes it for the U.S.
