Kristy (bengals_heart) | 9 comments Gosh I am so glad I am not the only person who has this issue. Right now I have 10 books sitting on my nightstand not including ebooks that I need to read on my nook.

My issue is I will buy a second book or whichever next book is in the series I think I enjoyed and then I get stuck. I move on to another book then a book Ive been dying to read comes out and I read that one putting the previous book on hold. I've had 3 books I've started reading when this has happened.

It's so hard. Then when I finish said book I stare at the book I was previously reading and think "why the hell did I start that book it? I'm not even in the mood for that type of book."

Ugh if only I cold stop. I have looked at a couple of them recently and said I putting you on the bookshelf. I may read you in a year or two.

Victoria (flame_2712) Omg I totally get that feeling! There are so many books I want to read and need to read that I just can't decide which goes first! I don't even dare to look at my TBR now. Yet, I'm adding more and more books. I think I'm crazy. I read the newest books but those that I really want to read, and have to read, I just don't bother. :(

Victoria (flame_2712) Maybe I should just make a list, and attempt to follow it. It probably won't work though... There are too many books that catch my attention everyday!

I don't do well with making a list of books to read, unless it's over a long period of time. It's hard, even then.

I have been making lists the past few months but didn't like the feeling of being obligated to stick with it. Now the only MUST reads on the list are group reads and everything else is something I'm in the mood for.

Lady Jaye (lady-jaye) | 53 comments I tend to be a linear reader too. once I start a series, I must read as many of it as I can get my hands on. But lately, I find myself getting sidetracked. I read book 1 and go off to do something, meaning to come back to it, but before I realize months have gone by and I haven't picked up the next book.

I also go on binges: only PNR/UF for awhile, then only category romances, then historicals, tec.

I made myself one-hard-and fast rule: no more than 300 books on (main)TBR pile. It helps to keep the pile from snowballing because if I want to read something, I have to knock something else off the list.

I am too moody a reader to be very strict about my reading list. Lately, I've been doing a lot of review books, and that has regimented my reading. It's hard, because sometimes I'm not in the mood for that sort of book, and I have to work through that.

Valerie ~ Val Hall ~ | 152 comments Lady Jaye, 300 is nothing! I'm struggling to keep mine under 500...and loosing the battle. :)

LOL. I even joined a reading challenge about bought in 2011,read in 2012 vs those bought in 2012. It'll be fun to see how much I can clean vs buy.

That happens sometimes but I try very hard to get through it. I am having an issue now with "Girls with the dragon Tattoo" it is not my normal reading and it is so hard to get through!!

my problem with the Kindle is I have the older version of DX, that doesn't have folders, so I have to search for the book I want to read. I try to finish any book I start on the Kindle before changing books for that reason.

I'm trying to decide if I should watch the movie first.

Anne Mikusinsi (abghostwriter) | 36 comments It's strange I just have no desire to see the movie or read the books.

Not strange at all. If it's not your thing, nothing wrong with that. I think Lisbeth Salander's character sounds very interesting. Of course Daniel Craig in the movie doesn't hurt. :)

Anne Mikusinsi (abghostwriter) | 36 comments While I can see DC's appeal, I really miss Pierce Brosnan as Bond...even Timothy Dalton will do!

Brosnan and Dalton were both good Bonds. Craig is my favorite though.

Rachel the Book Harlot | 217 comments Oh, my favorite Bond will forever be Roger Moore. I grew up watching his Bond movies so I think he'll always be the James Bond for me. :D

FYI, my mother (back in the day) used to be a telephone operator. In those days, when making long-distance calls, people often needed an operator to help. My mother would occasionally listen in (a teensy bit) when a famous person was making the call. Once it was Roger Moore to his wife, and she said he was perfectly lovely.

(She never told me about anything but the nice stuff. I love my mom)

Valerie ~ Val Hall ~ | 152 comments I have not read the books but I have seen the 3 Swedish film adaptations of the books. They were quite good.

I loved Roger Moore. The Spy Who Loved Me was my favorite.

That's awesome! Now I want to know who else she listened in on! lol

I loved Roger Moore until I saw my first Sean Connery. I am a sucker for a Scottish accent. I still think that he is a sexy older man now.
