with all the things to do in LA, you would have
to be a dedicated baseball for that to make
this list and i would give it a shot were i in
the area.

funny how you start noticing things once you
start noticing things; i recently read about the
'house of david' ball team touring the West
Texas league in the 1950s and playing the
Alpine Cowboys, now they show up here.
before that, i'd never heard of the fellows.

Jim (MetesandBounder) The library exhibit looks to be both interesting and pretty eclectic, but LA is too far away....

Carl, there are several references to the House of David teams in the book "Satchel" (the initial book for the Baseball Book Club).
