I have a FB page now. If you "like" it and leave me a link with your page, I'll return the gesture. If you don't have a page, leave me your website URL letting me know you liked my page, and I'll give your website a shoutout on my network (Fb profile, page, Twitter, and Myspace)

Paul Vincent (astronomicon) | 17 comments I don't have a Facebook page yet. How much of a difference does a Facebook page make (I don't know anyone still on FB) as I already have a blog, a Google+ page, a GR profile page and a Twitter feed.

Is it worth setting up a FB page that just points the way to the blog or Google+ page?

Paul Vincent (astronomicon) | 17 comments Whoops! Looks like that killed the thread dead. :(

Ken Magee @Paul I haven't noticed much excitement generated for Dark Tidings through FB. I think it's worth having a page though, but FB is changing over the next month so it might be best to wait until the dust settles on all their new features.

I'm looking at Google+ myself, I'd also be interested in any feedback about it.

Paul Vincent (astronomicon) | 17 comments I like Google's clear cut functionality. It's easy to navigate and easy to use. It took a few days to fully understand the effects of their "circles" system but it gives excellent and simple control over who can see your posts.

Facebook always seems cluttered and difficult to navigate in comparison. And I hate the way every time I log into Facebook it asks to search my e-mail accounts for contacts and requests my mobile number.

Almost everyone I know is on Google+. Many of my friends have long since closed their FB accounts, or never had one in the first place.

I liked yours!
There's actually a contest going on at my FB page right now to win my novels. :) Here it is:
