Daisuke held out his hand.----
Honoka's eyes widened as she rose from the floor. Her ears tinged pinked, they were roughly the same height, but she was in heeled-boots... "Okay." she said shyly
The song ended and Taylor stepped away, giving Mary space. He looked around again, noticing some really interesting masks.
Vanessa took it. "I'm Vanessa, by the way," she said.

James and Preston sat at the table together (they're brothers, after all... adopted ones), eating. They were on the look-out for any girls not dancing.

"Daisuke." he said shyly and guided her to the floor gently.
His face flushed, moving back towards Mary. "Did you want to go dance with anyone else..I mean it's okay" Taylor asked her nervously.
Vanessa blushed. "So... what do you think of this whole Masquerade madness?"
Taylor wasn't very surprised when she kissed him, he not to let their masks get in the way. He reached his hands out to her waist, pulling her even closer.
"Sure" he said fighting a smile. He took her hand, leading her back to the table they had been at before. The large room now seemed brighter to Taylor, he couldn't help but be happy. Even being watched by guards.
Taylor wondered what Mary looked like under her mask. Not that it really mattered. But her was curious. He glanced at the dance floor, "This shouldn't be like this" he sighed.
Cassandra was quickly ushered into the Refreshments table, her black mask hid her face. She was almost thankful for the mask, it highlighted her key features, her eyes, which were a deep crystalline blue that bore into the looker's soul. She walked around, her skirts swishing as she went, and looked around for a possible (she would shutter at the thought) mate.
"Hey." James acknowledged the only girl in the area not dancing.
He beamed when she came over to sit on his lap. "Beats me." Taylor rested his hand on her back, sighing content.

"Thank you. Yours is nice as well." Vanessa blushed. It wasn't that she didn't like Daisuke - he was nice, and handome, but she just met him and couldn't really feel much towards him.
"You know... I noticed that you were sitting by yourself earlier, and you don't seem that interesed in me... is there someone you have your eye on?" he chuckled.

Taylor shifted uncomfortable, "Er, isn't that a little forward"

Daisuke shook his head, "Slow down. I understand, and to be honest, but not rude of corse, I feel the same way."
"Good," Vanessa smiled. "But I'd like to be firends."
He kissed her back, twirling her long hair that brushed his fingers. Taylor leaned back slightly looking her in the eyes, "did I mention how beautiful you look?"
He shrugged, "beautiful or pretty can mean many things. But Yes." Taylor stroked her face lightly, his fingertips lingering on her mask. He knew he couldn't take it off her, or there would be deadly consequences.

"I'm not sure," James said, "but in a couple of generations it'll all be incest."
Taylor nodded, he hadn't gotten that much sleep either, thinking about the masquerade all night. "Feel free"
