Ok............

I loved in Mockingjay how Peeta and Katniss played the Real or Not Real game and then Peeta asks, "You love me. Real or Not Real?" and then Katniss says "Real". It was a perfect ending, so sweet.<3

message 54: by [deleted user] (new)

It was the perfect ending only Gale should ahve said that........

message 55: by Elliot (new)

Elliot (nightowlreader) I almost made a hole in my bedroom wall with my book when I read the part where katniss found out that peeta was brain washed and he tried to strangle her...I was so excited:D

message 56: by [deleted user] (new)

KATNISS HATER!!!! Well with all the books I got tears all over them, and tey are COMPLETELY wrecked 'cause I tore them apart unconciiously 'cause I was stressed. Also I threw them against the wall when Finnick, Prim, Rue..... You know.

message 57: by Elliot (new)

Elliot (nightowlreader) Sorry...I typed that wrong...I was sad that that happened to katniss but the action of the moment made me want to read on...that's what I meant by excited:)

I do that to all the books I love...my divergent book is almost as ruined as my copy of the hunger games...

message 58: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't see why people are like "Don't read the last book. It's not good" I thought it was greaT. It ties everything together and it is very touching at parts but I like that it really makes you think and feel for each character. MOCKINGJAY! LOL :D

@ Sarah I was kidding! @ Rachael I agree!!!

message 60: by Elliot (new)

Elliot (nightowlreader) @ Josie I apologize for my flawed sense of sarcasm...I think it runs in the family;P

@ Rachael Totally!! That's how I felt...hunger games and catching fire were all about action while mockingjay was all about getting to know the characters better

message 61: by [deleted user] (new)

Sort of. There was some pretty intense battle scenes in there. Remember the Capitol suburbs?

message 62: by Elliot (new)

Elliot (nightowlreader) True...I was holding onto my book for dear life at those parts...and when finnick died I almost threw my book at someone...

message 63: by [deleted user] (new)

Well, I started SOBBING, and shouting, "WE remember you Finnick! or We will never forget you! or Forever, Finnick! or sometimes just FINNICK!!!"

message 64: by Elliot (new)

Elliot (nightowlreader) I think I once screamed "FINNICK!" once but he wasn't my favorite so it didn't really impact me that much...what did though was the way he died...so cruel

message 65: by [deleted user] (new)

You can say that again!

message 66: by Ian (new)

Uh, yeah!

I've read the series twice and am working on my third time, but Mockingjay has to be my favorite. Katniss's feelings are shown to a much larger extent and this is when she finally falls for Peeta and stays with him, always. (See what I did there?) Another thing I like about Mockingjay is Haymitch. I feel like by this book he is sort of taking on a fatherly role for Katniss, even though he'll never replace Katniss's father he does help and comfort her many times throughout the book. They are very much alike in many ways. Well yes this is my favorite book of all time!

message 71: by Caroline (new)

Caroline (godwithus) Agreed! Also, it was a pretty fast paced book...

message 72: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes. I don't understand while people are so bitter about it. I personally loved it!

message 73: by Caroline (new)

Caroline (godwithus) It was good, it just had soooo much.... Deadness..

message 74: by [deleted user] (new)

I know it was sad but remember Katniss made those deaths count.

message 75: by Caroline (new)

Caroline (godwithus) True but if only they didn't do bombs

message 76: by [deleted user] (new)

I know. I probably cried for Prim like 5 times in the course of two hours after finishing the series.:'-(
