GR technical question - friends email

I used to get weekly emails of what my friends were reading, and I blissfully looked forward to it, like clockwork, every Friday. The last two weeks... Nothing. Has anyone else had problems? I thought I'd ask around before pursuing it. Gracias.

No, I still get those messages... so it's not a general thing. Maybe there are some settings somewhere that you accidentally changed?

There's a whole settings page for emails and notification that you can edit. Check this out. The other guess would be that somehow the goodreads mails are marked as spam. Not sure how likely that is, but I occasionally find non-spam mails in my spam folders, so I would check there, too.

Okay, trying a few changes. I had it set to weekly friends updates and included all my friends, and thought it may be too big. Now GR has the option of limitingupdates only to "top friends" so I changed which people are included in that (notably removed from TF status - authors who use GR to troll for fans, and people who write reviews of children's picture books to bump up their stats). I could have turned off the "to-read" option but I like seeing that.
