Totally Agree! Just finshed reading it. I had to skim read the last couple of chapter as i could not take it anymore. Such a bad end to the series! So disappointed. :(

Cindy C Bennett (cindycbennett) | 440 comments I always liked Peeta better, and thought she should be with him, but it sort of felt like Collins just wanted to be done with it and skipped over the ending. It felt more like Katniss just went with Peeta because she didn't know what else to do, rather than because she loved him. After all they'd been through together, I wanted more to show their love and their happiness at finally being able to be together. There wasn't much of a reunion between them. To me, that was the biggest disappointment.

Diamond (kindle lover) (quirkysecrets) | 25 comments I love the hunger games series I was kind of confused on the last one though on the last part when she woke up but other than that I cried haha

Ok, this is a contest for the best movie of 2012. There are two finalists: Cosmopolis and the Hunger Games so please vote for the Hunger Games!!! (you can vote as many times as you want)

Charity (charitydlikesit) | 1 comments I absolutely loved the entire Trilogy! I read them all in about 3 days, it just consumed my life. I've noticed the last book isn't liked as much, but I personally think it ended perfectly. I like the fact that it didn't end all happily ever after, peaches and cream type stuff because that wouldn't have been believable. Katniss was both physically and very emotionally damaged...there is no getting over that. I will definitely reread this trilogy and probably sooner rather than later, because my thoughts are still consumed.

Dandi | 5 comments Love the political subtexts and messages in these books. I loved the first two books but the third could have been better.

Please leave that poor guy alone, Jude. Why you hate so much? You know what I'm talking about.

message 62: by Beatrice (new)

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) among the 3 books. Still the first book was the best.

message 63: by Rita (new)

Rita Silva (thebookdance) (_thebookdance) I think the hunger games are amazing books, I loved reading them although I think the last one is a bit boring at some parts. I saw the movie in the theater first and I feel in love, so I had to read the books. And the cast from the movie is amazing, I love Josh Hutcherson

Makayla S | 16 comments I love this series!!! The second book was my favorite and I love Peeta!!!!!❤

message 65: by Beatrice (new)

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) I'm Team Peeta than Team Gale.

message 66: by Kaitlyn (new)

Kaitlyn I loved these books, but the 3rd book kinda ruined it for me. I'm definitely Team Gale, but Finnick is my favorite character.

Sarah Mullanix (SarahMullanix) | 6 comments I didn't think I would like this series initially but for me each book just got better and better.

message 68: by Petra (new)

Petra (elsinor) I still haven't read this series. I'm probably the only one in the world!

Eshibasaki I didn't think I'd like this series too, but since so many people said it was so good, I decided to give it a try. I'm glad i did, because i loved it. gave it 4 stars, but it could have been 5 if it wasn't for the last chapters, which were kind of a let down. And because of Gale. Collins attempt to make him less likeable in the last book didn't work with me. :)
