I am an avid reader. I have a lot of ideas, but lack the time and skill to write them well.

Love to read and like writing as well, tho nothing has been finished, much less published, and my ideas are screwy at best. All my stories seem inspired from movies and/or comic books (Batman, Spidey, etc.) and unless I figure out how to make a truly mature story, my tales of imagination and adventure will likely suck.
I notice people keep saying 'just a reader'. Nothing JUST about reading! Remember it's us that keeps the literary world ticking over. If we don't ingest it, no one will bother to write it! Or something equally profound...hahahaI love reading, but I'm mostly a writer. Most of my spare time is spent with a notebook or at a keyboard. But if I'd never read, nothign would have kickstarted this runaway-imagination of mine :)

I'm mainly a writer, but reading got me hooked on writing. I read Christian non-fiction, but write Christian fiction (romance). Okay, I did until about a year ago. Now I write both. I have 10 books currently out on Kindle and Nook, and I have one more to put out this month, and then one a month through 2015! :)

If I haven't soo many books I wouldn't have start to thinkg 'oh, I would have written that otherwise' and so after thinking that a few times I got the encourage to just try it. And now I have half of my story written (though I'm stuck there at the moment - I hope to finish in some times). So I guess every writer is a passinoate reader as well or before and afterwards. :)
Hi Holly, what's that like? Being married to a writer? I'm not married but my Mum says she hardly ever speaks to me now cos I've always got some writing to do! We live in the same house so I think she's laying it on a bit thick myself!

He tends to do most of his writing while I'm not home or after I've gone to bed, so we're not lacking in time spent together. And it works out well for him that way since he does his best work when he's alone.
