Henry | 7 comments My interest in the Brain Science started with the Adult Ed class offered @Princeton U about the Brain. Then 6 months ago, time published the article on "Singularity". Then searching the Web for podcasts (to fill my weekly driving time between NJ and MD) I stumbled on the Brain Science. I found that Ginger interviews are interesting, I followed up with a purchase of number of books by those guests (since I just retired, I have more time to read). My original view about the brain followed by various computer computer scientists believe that the technology is near for artificial intelligence to reach and exceed human brain intelligence. But reading books by neuroscientists, today I'm not sure that artificial technology to equate to Brain can happen in our lifetime.

Henry,

I don't know if you are still coming to this site. Sorry I missed your original post.

Yes, I'm following threads and listening to your podcasts. Presently, I'm getting into a deeper reading on molecular biology and genetics, as relates to the brain functionality. I did purchased "Human, the science behind what makes us unique" and "Who's in Charge" by Michael Gazzanica and still reading. I also talk about your podcast to people that have interest in neuroscience and cybernetics/AI.
