Put your comments for Part 3 here.

Angie This part is so much better than Part 2. I was about ready to give up on this book during Part 2! Now we are back to the main point of the story, and it's more interesting.

I agree, the book definitely seems to get on track in Part 3. I know it was important to the story to learn about the Walkers, but I'm glad we finally got to Martiya and her time with Karen and the dyalo tribe. Boy, I'd hate to have ad to live with Farts-a-Lot! Ugh!

At times it is hard to understand why Martiya stayed with the tribe; boredom seems to be a big issue. As I've said earlier, I just never live a life like that. I'm too spoiled.

And what's about Martiya possibly having an affair with Thomas, David's father. No wonder Norma doesn't like her!

I love all the stuff about the Dyalo tribe.

Hang in there folks, the book is actually a good read!

I felt the same. I had started out at what seemed way ahead in reading, and didn't think anyone was catching up. Since Part one and two didn't hold my interest that much, it was easy to set the book aside for a while.

Now, to catch up to eveyone else, I have picked the book back up and find Part three much more interesting.

Part 3 is called "The Native's Point of View", however so far it seems to be Martiya's point of view of the natives. Except that they think she is odd.

The death of Pell cracked me up. Great way to get away from the disgusting Farts-A-Lot!
