After careful consideration, I gave this book 4 stars and a favorable review. I was amazed to read after the end of the book that the book was almost entirely fiction. How could an author make up the Dyalo tribe and all those customs! A tour de force in missionary work and anthropology, two subjects I wouldn't have ever dreamed I'd find interesting. The author makes it so!
So what did everyone else think?

I also enjoyed the anthropological parts of the book; amazed at how people could leave behind "civilzation" and live in such impoverished ways. Well, at least the food was good, right. Oh, and the scenario sounds awesome.
I had the same mixed feelings and definitely felt like I wanted to just get through it... that was mostly in Part 2 about the Walkers. Overall, I feel it was well worth my time and was an interesting story.

What?
None of it is true!

None of it is true?"
LOL... okay, I'm sure SOME of it is true! You slay me!
