So the user guide says to fully charge the Touch and that it will take about 3 hours. I charged it for at least 4 hours but the light never went off. (Which is how you know the classic Nook is done.) Does it indicate a full charge a different way or is it just not done?

(And why don't they just SAY in the darn user guide, hmmm?!)

Ah... so it was probably charging for ages longer than it needed to be. Sigh. Thanks for the info.

Dorie (dorieann) I just turn mine on, go to 'Settings' and select 'My Device'. It shows the percent battery charged there.
