Nook Touch - how to tell when it's done charging?

So the user guide says to fully charge the Touch and that it will take about 3 hours. I charged it for at least 4 hours but the light never went off. (Which is how you know the classic Nook is done.) Does it indicate a full charge a different way or is it just not done?

(And why don't they just SAY in the darn user guide, hmmm?!)

Yes the color changes when charging. I just charged mine about 3 weeks ago.

Ah... so it was probably charging for ages longer than it needed to be. Sigh. Thanks for the info.

I just turn mine on, go to 'Settings' and select 'My Device'. It shows the percent battery charged there.
