I will start by saying I own the publishing company that released Honor to avoid any potential controversy; however, as a person I am a HUGE Jaimey Grant fan. I am not typically a Historical Fiction reader though one of Jaimey's earlier works was recommended to me. I love her style of writing and her subjects so it was a "no brainer" to pick her up when I learned she was interested in TreasureLine Publishing. That said, Honor is my current #1 favorite. The characters are believable and work their way right into your heart. I love how Jaimey brings characters from her other books for appearances in this one. Overall, it is a wonderful Love With The Lights Off romance that you won't want to put down.
I really enjoyed Honor too. I have read many of Jaimey Grant's other books (I haven't made it through all of them simply because of time constraints). I love the way her characters interact. The interactions are vibrant and exciting. They have depth that you don't always find in other author's work. Even when they simply pass through a scene as a secondary character, the reader gets a sense that there is a great untold story behind their actions and who they are. I love that depth.
While it was not what I expected, I enjoyed this book quite a bit.
I was drawn into the story almost immediately. However, for about the first half of the book I almost felt like something was missing By the end of it, though, I realized that there was plenty of detail, it was just all in the interactions between characters. I felt like this put a greater focus on the characters and I really liked the depth it gave them. I look forward to reading about Bri in Betrayal. :)

As I started reading Honor, I noticed how character-centric the book was written. This is not normally seen in the books I read, so that was a refleshing sight. During the first half of the book, I thought I saw where it was going, but by the end I was shocked to see that I was wrong about my first intentions. I truly enjoyed reading this unexpected story. I look forward to reading both the story about Bri and the story about the twin sisters.
There's one about the twin sisters? Yay!
