I read this book a few years ago and it took me about 5 chapters to even understand what was going on... but you should continue... you will be very happy! I sitll think about this book a lot!
Keep reading...trust me i too had trouble getting through the first 150 pgs or so in the book but it gets better as it continues.its worth it.

It takes a LONG time but eventually you can't put it down!!!! Don't give up on it!! :)
i quite enjoyed it and i expected it to be completely diffident from twilight which i was right and yes at first it was hard to understand being it was my first sci fi but the more i read the better it got

I love Twilight because of the characters she created, but her writing style is better and the character of the Wanderer is awesome. You have to get to know her better, so keep reading!
I agree with the other posts - once it picks up its a pretty good story. I still didn't like it as much as her other books, or some other YA paranomal books.

no - please don't waste your time. This book horrible. I wish I had put it down because the ending just isn't worth it.

Keep reading, it does get better towards the end.

you should still keep reading the host because it gets better the begging is always slow in this book but it does get better it did for me.
