A pdf version is available at write words inc, http://www.writewordsinc.com/ for 6.50.

It's also available as an ebook at Amazon Kindle & Barnes & Nobles Nook for 5.99 US dollars.

Juli (mrsmarit) | 161 comments So I just finished this tonight and it was a engaging read. I had no idea who the "bad" guy was until the end of the book.

I sent an email to Josh to let him know not only did we pick his book but to see if he wanted to join the group.

Here's hoping he'll stop by and I'm looking forward to see what others thought about the book.

Yvonne (ysareader) | 79 comments I'm just starting on Bleeding Hearts today. It's very interesting so far. I get attached to my characters so I'm dreading the bad thing that will happen to them.

This was originally published in 2001 so I'm curious to see if anyone feels if the attitude towards gay teens displayed here still rings true or if we've progressed any in the last 10 years.

Yvonne (ysareader) | 79 comments I'm not sure if any one else got around to reading this one. It turned out to be a pretty good start for the series.

Killian is a good character. Perhaps he cries more than the typical 16 year old boys, but then again most of the real ones I know don't run around finding dead bodies & have to deal with domestic abuse either. Killian has a lot on his plate & manages to have a couple of guys to choose from as well. This one probably had more guys coming out as gay than is realistic but it works for the world created here.

The mystery gets resolved in kind of a crazy way, like a Maury Povich episode. It was very much a soap opera. I'm not sure what the writer was thinking--throw everything at it and hope something sticks? Still, I'll probably check out the remaining books in the series. The latest one goes in the paranormal direction.
