I think it's pretty common to overlap between challenges :)

Btw, what's RISI book club?

Terri (terrisa-uk) RISI = read it swap it ... I think it's the UK equivalent to paperbackswap or something similar? Not sure if I've got that name right!

They're reading challenges you can find on the net (most of them are on blogspot accounts however Round the World Passage is one that I came up with myself) Most of the rules are on my blog (which I rarely ever use but feel free to check out all the rules for the challenges :))

and yes, TNBBC is a group on GR, it stands for The Next Best Book Club

Donna (dfiggz) I am doing the A-Z Title challenge and also 60+5 challenge for the year(60 books can be whatever but 5 must be classics)

These are my first challenges. I never have done any before so I thought it would be interesting!

Good luck to you all and wish me luck as well!!!

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) That Round the World Passage Challenge is sort of like a literary Amazing Race, Karen. Neat idea.

oh, thanks Susanna. I liked the continents' reading challenge but I wanted to make it more 'fun' :)

Cathy | 90 comments My best friend and I challenged each other to read all the books in the school library fiction shelves - she started at Z and I started at A. it was a grand idea but I don't think I got past Joan Aikin! Now I read on the train and in bed but with bursts of extra reading when on holidays, so no real program.

Rachel Brand (pixieauthoress) I like personal challenges, like assigning myself to read a certain number of books a month or a year. This year I joined the 50 Books 2008 group and surprised myself by keeping track of all the books I read - I read 118 this year!

At the moment I'm aiming to read 6 books from my TBR each month, and these books must include:
* One Teen Novel
* One Adult Novel
* One Classic (Kids or Adult)
* One Non-Fiction Book
* One Borrowed Book
* The last can be whatever I pick :)
I think this will be a good way of breaking down my TBR evenly, without leaving all the obscure classics and non-fiction to the end.
