I seem to be the only one but PNR is a sub genre of fantasy as far as I'm concerned. It's an obvious mix of urban fantasy and romance.
I say Anita Blake should be in too.

I did. :p Yes, I like the series that much, especially the last book.

The only Anita Blake book I ever started was pretty much erotica...I wouldn't even say PNR
Haven't read Wind-up Girl.

As a dedicated and shameless romance reader, PNR is NOT fantasy. It is romance. Trust me on this. In fact, PNR stands for Paranormal Romance.

btw I am not a serial killer was one of the best books I've read this year.

Yes, PARANORMAL romance :p I'm not denying its romancyness (new word?), but I consider anything 'paranormal' (like Twilight, Sookie Stackhouse, ...) fantasy too. Just because something is one genre (i.e. romance) it doesn't mean it can't be another as well (i.e. fantasy).
There's plenty of, say, urban fantasy that crosses into horror or thriller or noir territory. I recently read a book that was a pure detective story, only it was set in an alternative world with demons and shape shifters and magic so people classify it as a fantasy.
But if the majority says no PNR on the list, then I'm cool with that. :) At least it will mean that a number of popular but i.m.o. awful books wont polute the list. :p

^This. Especially the last line - very much so.
Also this:
