I read this a couple of years ago and will be reviewing as we read the trilogy. I loved it and hope you all will as well.

I read this book about a year ago. I very much enjoyed it at the time and will probably skim back over it a bit in the next couple of months.
Read and loved a couple of years ago! Won't be able to get to my copy for another couple of weeks but I'll definitely try to get a reread in then.
New reader here! I'll definitely be reading this. I am going to finish Inheritor first though. I hope to get this one read before the 15th, which is when the next Malazan book is up to read.
I read this book/series quite a few years ago, and I've been meaning to revisit - so this is a great time!
I started re-reading this last night. How do I get GR to let me add it to my 'reading' but not move it from my 'read'. It won't let me but I have done this before.

It's particularly annoying as it's let me put Game of Thrones in both! Since it's updated I keep having to sign in every few mins so wondering if it's to do with that!Enjoying reading it again though.
I've done it! I went to other additions page and after about 4 attempts it's let me have it.I'd forgotton about the names that the royalty have.
I just picked up this book on the recommendation of an old English/Creative Writing professor. I've been meaning to read Robin Hobb for some years now. I also selectedit for a real-life book group of generally non-fantasy readers. But I think this will be a good, easy genre read. I'm glad to see the discussions here and can't wait to join in!
