Leviathan
question
Clanker or darwinist which one are you?

I would be a darwinist the clankers are too bulky and have too much brute force.I rather have a awesome flying whale ship.who could ever pass up a flying whale?
Clanker!, im sorry but those animal scare me no matter how cool they are
I am not sure. I love technology and machines as any the Clanker but as I have studied biotechnology I am also fascinated by Darwinists.
Darwinist for sure! I'm gonna make myself legions of griffins and chimeras!
Clanker. I don't think I could stand the barnyard smell of Darwinist life. Also I can't live without modern electronics which I can only see being developed by Clankers.
As a biologist, I have to say Darwinist but I did really like the Turkish tech.
DARWINIST! I've always adored the idea of biotechnology, and it's so rare to see it in books while steampunk is all the rage right now. In fact, the Darwinists were what made me start reading Leviathan in the first place!

Absolutely a Darwinist. Sure, I can hold my own around machines, but I'm no mechanic. Plus, the whole ecosystem of a Darwinist creation is so intriguing. The way all the different organisms fit together and work together and are still individual amazes me.
For sure a Darwinist. I have the bad luck of breaking machines when I try to use them.
I'm probably a Darwinist, but that's probably because I just don't like the real history of the Axis Powers, and how they came to be the Nazis. On the other hand, I have always liked airships, and thought they looked cool, but the Leviathan was somewhat distrubing looking, but on the other hand, I have always been much more fond of Britain then Germany(going into the real history thing) and the Leviathan interrior was really well done. I would be an american which were a cross between the two.
tough one...probably darwinist. it just seems more me in terms of their way of life and personality, if anyone understands that. and the animal factor, of course. i'm also far more fascinated by the darwinists' ways than the clankers(no offense) and yes, beasties die. but they can also heal themselves. i also suck when it comes to dealing with machinery...
I think a little of both? While I love animals and would like to have a Tazza and I definitely wouldn't be terrified of beasties. But, I also wouldn't want to wage war inside of something that can easily explode with a spark. So I would want to be with the clankers for the safety and familiarity to our world.
I would totally be a darwinist... it just seems more me especially with the animals and the idea of genetic splicing within breeds.
I've only read Leviathan and didn't get the book much but I think Darwinist. Those animals and wicked cool :)
Darwinist! Lovin the whole, hey! lets build stuff out of animals!!!!
Clanker all the way. The beasties freaked me out. Like something out of a nightmare.
Clanker, I'd rather oil and repair my war machines than clean up after them.
Probably a Darwinist, but that's not to say that there are some things that I love about Clanker technology. The Darwinists have amazing airships and really cool biotechnology, but I don't think that it would be very effective in a war. As much as I hate the idea of war, I think that the Clankers would win with brute force. I am leaning more towards Darwinists mostly because I am horrible at dealing with anything to do with machines, and I love animals, so yeah.
Darwinist. The animals are cool and if you read the next books the lorises are sooooooo amazing.
i am a Clanker all the way tech. is my number one use in the world
I am hardly a warmonger, but I like machines and technology, so I would be a Clanker, but I wish for less oil and smoke and noise...how about an electronic Clanker?
Beasties can think a little on their own and can forage for fuel. And I can definitely see the appeal.

I am totally a Darwinist! I love the idea of having all those animals being able to do such amazing things! I would be super scared that the machines would like fall over or something, while I think I would be able to trust the animals a bit more, especially because they can sence danger or a problem and act accordingly. Plus, I love those lizards!!!
Clankers. Let's see if the Darwinist could come up with the equivalent of LASER robots or Jetplanes, hehehe. Strafing hawks? Please. Goliath? Meet Bazooka. Warbears? Meet Abrams tanks.
Clankers. Fabricated beasties are against my beliefs and I don't think I could be comfortable with such godless creatures. I don't mean to sound stiff...
