I would appreciate a run-off poll - if my nomination doesn't get many votes, I'd like to re-vote for something more popular.

Darkpool | 13 comments A run off poll sounds like a great idea.

message 56: by Alex (new)

Alex | 34 comments Maybe the top three for the run off? I'm excited for this group read, medieval is one of my fave eras for hf.

João Pedro | 7 comments I'm gonna cheat here - I suggest "The Accursed Kings" by Maurice Druon. Set in the first half of the 14th century, it is a seven tome novel depicting the final days of the Capet dynasty, the ruling house of France.

Diane S ☔ Run off poll sounds great. I am already confused with all the nominations.

OK... I'm gonna end the nominations here then. We'll do an initial poll and then a run-off with the top 3 and see how that goes. :)

message 60: by Kiri (new)

Kiri | 86 comments *eyes poll* you could have at least included one of mine. *sigh* Yesterday I thought we had until the 5th and I didn't see your late night descision until this morning! *grf*

Oh my gosh... I'm so sorry Kiri! Which one would you like me to add?

message 62: by Lee (new)

Lee Broderick Thanks Becky - I had already nominated a second book an it's in the poll (The Name of the Rose).

LOL OK. I'm just totally not with it, it seems.

I'm beginning to think a do-over sounds tempting... ;)

*flail* I don't know!! I hadn't decided which one to pick. I thought In a Dark Wood Wandering was a good choice but its not the lightest reading. How about this. You look at them and decide which one looks more appealing and add that one? I think your reading tastes are probably more in line with the general community overall. =)

Hmm... I think Lady of Hay looks good. I'll add that one. :)

OK... I added it to the poll and extended it by a day to give it a bit more time to catch up. Sorry again for changing everything up on you! I'm a terrible mod. O_O

Hello all- Just an FYI (another one) that I've added Lady of Hay to the poll since I changed things up last minute (again) and left out a nomination. This is the last change, I promise!

Please review the book options in the poll now, and remember that I've left it open so you can change your vote if you so desire.

I've also extended the poll a day as well to give everyone a chance to vote on the new options.
