He played with nick now he calmed down
Indi finished straightening her hair, she heard her parents walk in. "Indi you home honey?"
"Yeah, were in here mum." She said
Her mother walked in. "Hey, what have you guys been doing all day?"Indi shrugged, she turned her straightener off and sat with Jesse. "Talking, playing with Nick." She smiled a little.
She smiled. "Well how about you come help me with dinner?"
She looked at Jesse. "Is that alright with you?"
She kissed him softly then kissed Nicks tiny hand. "Keep him busy." She said as she walked off with her mum.
She walked to the kitchen with her mum.Jackson walked in and jumped on the couch with Jesse. "Hows the kid going?"
"good" he said playing with nick
He looked over at him. "He looks like you." He said. "And part of Indi but."
"Well its true." He said.. "So whats going on with you and Indi?"
He laughed a little. "Yeah i know that, i just mean the few weeks, ever since he was born."
"is there something you think is wrong"
"no do you think there is if you do plz tell me cause she might think there is"
"Look all i know from her is that she think your hiding something. It kinda looks liek your keeping something huge from her or all of us." He shrugged. "Are you?"
He sighed "I am but it's not huge its not really anything"
"Then you can tell her, or at least me."
"are you kidding me you are the worst at keeping secrets"
"Then tell my mum or something, Indi's freaking out. She seriously thinks your going to leave her or something.. since Nick came you've been quiet and she gets scared."
"I'm quitting football it doesn't seem like much to you guys but other than surfing its all I got and i don't know it just means a lot and I have to quit just as I have a kid to kick the footy with I mean I still will but I can't play club I've already told the team I get my last pay in a month"
"Why cant you play? Indi knows you love it, she wouldnt make you quit. Jesse your out of your mind!" He said.
"im not I make most of our money from surfing what if I get injured playing we won't get by if I don't make money from surfing I can't risk it with this baby and all"
"So you quitting fotty and relying on your surfing?"
"yes it sounds like a bad idea if you put it that way it's more like this I know I can trust my surfing but it could become crap if I keep playing footy" he looked at Jackson "don't tell indI"
"Dude why give up your footy? Your bloody pro at footy and your almost at AFL, thats what you wanted." He said then sighed. "Fine i wont but your gonna have to soon, and i know she'll try getting you to keep playing."
"I am also invited to the quick silver pro at snapper rocks the biggest surfing event in Australia so I can't risk an injury"
"Then go to that and continue footy." He said. "Why wont you tell her?"
"I can't what if I get injured and I can't surf" he sighed "and I dont want to tell her I'm quittin" they called the boys for dinner he sat at the table he gave Jackson a look that said "not a word"
Jackson sighed, he walked in and took a seat opposite the two. He looked at Jesse before down at the food. "Thanks, smells great."Indi sat down next to Jesse once they all had their food. "What were you two talking about?"
"just the new draft player for the afl he's playing for our team"
She smiled. "Oh yeah, who is it?" She asked.((Who's he meant to play for?))
"lakyn he's supposed to be really good"

"speaking of the team umm there's no nice way to say this so here it goes I quit footy as a whole I'm done we won't be getting payed by them only my surfing I've already told the team"

Indi smiled before he made his announcement, she froze then looked at him. "What? Jesse you didnt." She shook her head. "Baby you love footy.. you didnt, tell me your joking."
"surfing makes most of our money I can't risk an injury which would mean no money from footy or surfing besides the afl didn't approach me I'm not gonna make it in the world of afl in surfing I already have" he sighed
She nodded softly. "Are you sure this is what you want? Baby i know you loved footy." She took his hand. "Look im going to be here for you with anything choose, i just want you to be positive."
"I don't know I mean if I get injured I'm straight up screwed but if I don't play I'm giving up a piece of me I don't know what to do"
Indi thought about it, she understood what he meant. "I understand, umm.. why dont you just play footy locally and have surfing as your main career? I know you wanted to be in the afl but then you have less chance of getting injuries."
She looked at him. "I am?" she asked softly
Indi looked at Nick, she kissed his forehead. "Bub its ok.. daddy's got you."
