Chapter three: A Shift in the Continuum
Troy and Khana paced to the middle of the hill while their respective groups remained standing on the far sides.
"We are here today to show you something very special." Khana said flatly.
"And no, it's not just that we're trying to bring the group back together..." Troy said, "It's much more... interesting than that."
"But we are sworn to secrecy until the time comes when we're all here." Khana said.
"But... who's missing?" Aeros said, stepping forward.
"Claire and Dune shall be here shortly." Troy said.
"Vaer, Codai and Fajra are on their way." Khana continued
Ammos looked down to his feet suddenly... Vaer couldn't... come... no--that would be too weird.
"And lastly..." Khana said, "Ondryn and her friend."
suddenly the bushes rustled and five people stepped out.
"Who are you?" Khana asked them quickly.
"Hush Khana, go with what i have done!" Kirari's voice rang inside her head.
"I am Cadac, and this is my friend Aaron..." Cadac said slowly, looking up and around.
"I'm Kerai." The quiet girl said, "this is Voril." She said taking the red haired boys hand.
"And I'm Brooke."
Shana looked up at the name, and smiled, she looked like brooke... but she was too old. She couldn't be... the Brooke.
there was a great deal of silence filling the hill over the next twenty minutes where finally Aeros spoke.
"Raelynn," He whispered, "Do they look... right? those people who randomly appeared out of the bushes... they look..."
"Odd." Archer filled in.
The two groups hadn't come across the hill to meet each other yet, whether due to fear or just confusion.
Ammos, and Sira were exhanging silent conversations with one another, planning their escape if need be.
Claire and Dune hurried after their speedy daughter as she led them toward a forest. "We're almost there Mommy!" Fuchsia called out, "SO CLOSE!"
Dune chuckled at Fuchsia's enthusiasm as Claire just continued running.

Sira broke away from Ammos and went over to Zarya. "Zarya." She said finally, and then hugged her. "You have to help us heal him." she whispered.
Zarya removed herself from Sira's grip. "I can't do this right now..." She mumbled, Zarya stomped her foot and tunneled into the earth. Time, that's what everyone needs.Raelynn shook her head. "No, something seems wrong here. I'm worried for Petra..."
Sira swore. "Zarya!" She said, then glared at Troy. "Whatever the heck is in your brain i'm going to kill it. And Kiera."
"Her name is KIRARI." Troy scoffed, "and good luck." Troy looked down to his feet and sighed... Zarya... was hiding.... because of him...
"Keep her with you at all times." Aeros said, putting his arm around Raelynn.
Suddenly the bushes rustled loudly and three figured emerged near Aeros and Raelynn.
"A friend!" Petra cried out, pointing at the leading figure of a small girl. Behind her stood an auburn haired man and a woman with longer than ever black hair.
"C-Claire?" Aeros stuttered.
"Aeros!" Claire gasped, "Raelynn.... Troy... what's going on?"
"It's a surprise!" Khana growled from the middle of the circle.
Deep in the woods where FAJRA, CODAI, AND VAER were, Codai moved forward to open the door to their cabin. Someone was knocking hard on it. He was confused as no one ever came near them and slowly, as he pulled it open he smiled. There was a woman holding a child, a small boy resting on her hips.
"Come in..." he said slowly, "Fajra, Vaer, C'mere!" Codai bellowed.

"I don't care WHAT her name is-!" Archer grabbed Sira's arm and shook his head. "Come on. We have a hideout. Let's go back and talk there. All of us?" He said, looking around at everyone, Aeros the newly arriving Claire. "Seems we all have a lot of catching up to do."
((Aha... SORRY!! :P))
Rhia scooped up her son and hurried him inside the little hut. Coughing and stomping their feet from the cold, the two of them finally calmed down enough to look around at the residents.
Vaer rushed into the room holding a wooden paddle in his hand, and he had a pot over his head like a helmet. "STATE YOUR NAMES!" he called, waving the paddle around like a maniac.
Fajra broke out of her trance and her and Codai laughed.
"Dude, calm down, they look harmless." He said, handing Rhia and Talfryn a towel to dry off.
Fajra smiled warmly, "Come... sit by the fire and warm yourselves up. You must be freezing."
Talfryn sneezed, but mother and son shuffled over to the fire quickly, kicking off their soaked shoes and breathing a big sigh of relief as the sweet sensation of warmth spread through their fingers and toes, melting it's way down their limbs.
"No-NO!" Vaer groaned in ultimate frustration. He then gave up the attempted surprise attack and lifted the pot-helmet from his head. Then he knelt down to be eye level with Rhia. "What... is your name?"
Rhia coughed again, and tapped Talfryn on the shoulder. He looked from his mother to Vaer.
"She needs paper and a pencil." he whispered.
"Um..." Vaer rolled his eyes, "whatever.. Codai!"
"What am I? You servant?" He growled.
"Exactly."
Codai went and got the supplies, handing them to Rhia.
Rhia took the pencil and scrawled out her message:
We're starting a rebellion- against Pater. Our leader sent me to recruit you. We have your friends.
Vaer's breath stopped short at the thought of seeing Ammos again.
"Ammos?" He asked.
Rhia nodded.
"And... Ondryn?" He pondered the thought of trying to help his sister recover her lost memories.
Rhia tapped her pencil and began writing again.
No... we can't locate her. Almost as if she's disappeared. Her and the timebender. But no worries, you can help us search!
And then she drew a little smiley face...
Vaer looked to Codai and Fajra, who were kind of half holding hands, without realizing it.
"You guys think..." Vaer trailed off, seeking some form of permission.
"Yup. Fer definitely!" Codai smiled a toothy smile, and Fajra looked confused, but didn't say anything opposing to the idea.
"Okay." Vaer stood. "When do we leave?"
"Now." Talfryn said, jumping up excitedly.
"But it's raining..." Fajra reminded him.
"Not anymore!" Talfryn cheered, and they all went outside and saw the shining sun.
So they left.

Izoda clambered down the rocky path of the pine forest's edge, as he struggled to keep both one eye on his skipping daughter, and another on the unconscious body of Theia that he happened to be pulling along behind him.
"Daddy, why can't I go up?" Quest whined for the ninety-eighth time.
"BeCAUSE Quest! I'm dragging a friggen BODY up a dangerous hill! Now keep close to me and knock off that skipping."
Quest sighed, but bounced along quietly. She really just couldn't wait to see her mother and Talfryn again... but her feet were KILLING her!
And then, sooner than she would have expected, she saw camp!
"Daddy look! We are hooooooome!" Quest started to sing a happy song about 'no place like home', but Izoda shushed her quiet. He seemed on edge for some reason. But oh well. She didn't care!
((Wow... okay. Sorry for two reasons :P
a) late in roleplaying
b) I am TERRIBLE at writing right now :/ I actually have no idea why. 'Tis awful :( ..))

((It won't die, we've got lots planned ;) I just haven't been on goodreads because my parents are being quite silly indeed with my computer time :'/ but i'll try to roleplay more :P and better- hopefully :) i love it a whole lot too! haha))
Troy looked to Archer in anger, "No." he said, "You will wait here... the time has almost arrived... and if you leave you will miss the important part."
Aeros looked to Archer, "We're going Troy."
"You're not!" Khana yelled, "You're going to wait here Aeros! All of you! What are you afraid of?"
"It's not that I'm afraid!" Aeros yelled, "I just don't trust either you or Troy, so why would I stay?"
"Because..." Khana said, "Because i want you to..."
Aeros looked nervously to Archer and Raelynn. He didn't like this at all.

((yay!!! awww, too bad, sometimes my parents are like that too :( I can't wait till ur on more!!! ))Sira glared at Troy. "I'll stay, on one condition." she said, somehow even making her glare even more evil. "Call Zarya up here too, or were all gone."
"Zarya will not come even if i call." Troy said. "If she was going to come up for me... well she never would have gone in the first place."
"Shut up, and just say it." Sira snapped, she was at least going to make him try, and if it didn't work, well maybe at least it would scrabble his brain back to what it was a bit.
Troy glared at Sira for a moment and then gritted his teeth, "Fine..." he said in the most reluctant way possible. "Zarya!" it felt weird to speak to her again... after three years... or was it two? He couldn't remember. "Zarya! you need to come up here for a moment!"
Izoda trampled down three bushes, as he arrived into the clearing with Quest at his heels.
Well done Izoda... she's still alive I see. Good job, good job.
Izoda bowed respectively to his master, as she stood in front of his with a look of strange amusement. Then she walked forward and helped him drag the girl into one of the shelters made from slabs of rock. They set her down on a bed of moss and Kirari placed a hand on Theia's forehead.
"What are you doing?" Izoda asked reluctantly.
"I sense a hint of fear in your voice." Kirari said softly, "No need to be afraid of me... you've done well. I'm just waking her up."
And as if on cue, Theia's eyes snapped open and she took in a deep breath, ready to scream.
But she couldn't.
What's wrong with me?? Theia shouted through her thoughts. The breath was there, but she couldn't make a sound. And that's when she noticed the creepy girl dressed in violet, kneeling beside her... touching her face...
Shh... it's all right... be quiet...be at peace... Kirari's mind bending forced Theia's eyes to lock with her own, and almost as if being hypnotized, Theia's mouth shut silently, and she rocked back and forth, waiting for answers.

Nyx woke up with a start. Her heart was pounding violently in her chest, and her hair was sticking to her face with sweat. She'd been dreaming... but it was... what was-?
What was her dream...
Can't remember... she thought, while pulling herself upright by holding onto the tree branch above her. She looked up through the green leaves and could see the sunlight spilling beautifully through the tree's canopy. Looking down, it wasn't too far of a jump. She could easily just leap down the few feet spacing between her and the ground, landing without a scratch. Theia would do it in a blink of an eye, without a second's consideration. But she wasn't Theia. And she didn't like heights. In fact, the only reason she was up here was because sleep deprivation had been getting the better of her, and she feared porcupine-wolves more than an arm's length of air.
She closed her eyes and gripped the branch tightly, scooting her right foot down the trunk of the tree until she found a nice groove in the bark. She placed her foot, and tried swinging her one arm to the other side of her body, but missed and ended up slamming the ground hard with her face.
"Ow..." She groaned, sitting up and rubbing the bridge of her nose. It was probably going to bruise...
Suddenly her eyes were glazed over, and behind the face, Nyx's memories came rushing back to her- her dream!
She screamed and stumbled to her feet, backing up and running through the trees as fast as she could, panic rising in her heart faster than her feet could carry her. Theia was in trouble.

Zarya sighed, immaturity was beyond her at this point so she resurfaced, free of any dirt or unsettled looks. She stood her ground and looked at Troy, it stabbed her heart in the most painful way to hear him talk to her again. She frowned slightly, not giving any indignation that he had power over her. "What could you possibly need me for...?"Raelynn kept Petra close to her, the ground beneath her yearned to be released from it's pressure she had been holding. She almost was ready to unleash it upon Khana or Troy, they felt the most different from everyone else around her.
Fajra didn't appreciate how soggy the ground still was, she and rain didn't necessarily mix, especially afterward. Everything was so wet, the water consuming her fire.
Sira didn't smile, but she did feel some sort of sucsess making Troy do that."Because your the Avatar." Archer said. "The world need to see you, you are strong and need training. You need to know what happens in your world with light and evil and you need to show your people that a path is being paved!"
"You are definitely one who likes to contradict himself..." Zarya mumbled after hearing Archer's almost too confusing comment.
Troy cleared his throat. "I... wish for you to stay on the surface with us." he managed to say. He felt as though crushing her head into a large rock seemed like the most realistic choice of matters, but instead, he forced a smile onto his face.
Zarya's eyes ran over Troy's body, she set her jaw. Zarya walked up to him slowly. She searched, praying she'd find some hint of the boy she had fallen in love with. Her heart ached when she saw nothing of the old Troy. She punched him square in the nose and turned away. "I won't stay for you, you aren't Troy."Zarya turned and walked down the hill, not wanting to see or deal with anyone else.
You musn't allow her to leave. Kirari's voice echoed in his mind. He shook his head violently and ran after her. As he did so he thought about the way she had just searched his face... his eyes... what was she looking for? And what did she mean by 'You're not troy.' And WHY the hell did she punch him. He was thankful that she had not punched him hard enough to break it, but it was still bleeding, so he wiped it away with his sleeve and finally caught up to her.
"Zarya! Zarya... listen..." Troy said. "I... you can't hate me for loving someone... but what i really want to say is... i still love you too--but in a different way... I'm sorry--but Kirari is my love now. I love her."
Zarya looked like she wanted to explode in anger, so Troy made sure to continue speaking.
"Zarya... Kirari is... strange and she has some weird... control over me--" Troy paused... what was he saying? Was he making it up or was it true? "And... now i love her...?" He was confusing himself--and could, in now way expect Zarya to follow what he was saying.

"Don't you dare talk to me." Zarya's eyes were closed but her voice echoed with that of the old Avatars. "I won't be able to control myself next time." She opened her eyes, they were normal again. She whipped around, resisting the urge to finish breaking Troy's nose. "...I hope you are happy, but quit trying to involve me."
Zarya kicked of the ground and flew off with the fire shooting from her hands.
Rhia, remembering she was a water bender, raised her arms, and brought them both down in a fluid swish. Suddenly, the group was dry and warm, walking over dirt instead of mud, and no longer having to worry about falling into a stray puddle. She turned her head around to glance at Fajra, who had let out an audible sigh of relief. She winked lightly, and continued leading them through the thicket of trees.
Less than 20 minutes later, the trees were already visibly thinning, becoming less dense, and seeping through bare patches in the leafy canopies above, was the brilliant sunshine, lighting their way.
Suddenly Rhia stopped walking. Codai opened his mouth in question, but Rhia simply held a finger to her mouth, silencing him.
Vaer however, was less co operative, more demanding. He wanted to see Ammos as soon as he could.
"Rhia, where are we? What are you doing-" Vaer started, staring in alarm as she twisted her wrist in an upward swish, swinging her fingers delicately over the air horizontally, as if painting the wind just the way she wanted it.
Vaer felt his throat tighten. His breath caught behind his tongue. Unable to speak, unable to move, he just stood there with gaping eyes as the woman in front of him blood-bended his movements to her will. As if stringing a puppet out of its box, she forced Vaer to walk over to Codai and Fajra, and before they could let out a cry, Vaer had his fingers and joints locked onto each of their wrist in a vice-like grip. All three of them unwillingly forced to make no sound, as if their individual mouths had been carefully stitched closed by none other than herself.
Rhia held out a warming hand to her son, who took it gratefully. She then sighed, closing her eyes tiredly and rubbing her temple. "I told you to shut up. How precise do I have to get?" her voice was soft and clear, with a faint echo that could have made a bird faint from the beautiful sound.
Vaer shot Codai a one-eyed glance, quickly before Rhia snapped them both back to focus on her. The look Codai had shared with him had mirrored what he knew must be plain upon his own face. A look of panic.
"It doesn't matter anyway." Rhia sighed, walking ahead. Vaer found himself pacing forward evenly, though every thought screamed through his brain to turn back and run the other way. "We're here." she drew back one last bush, and Talfryn let go of his mother's hand, running into the lightened area, into a clearing, with a rocky cavern lit with fairie lights. There was a campfire and several tents that surrounded it as well.
"We're home!" the child cried, racing towards two figures standing by the cave. One was a very tall man, with a roughly-shaven blonde beard. The other stood only a few feet above the ground, her light brown hair pulled up in bouncing pigtails. Quest lifted her head in astonishment and ran full speed towards her brother, catching him in a violent hug, as the siblings tumbled on the ground in a fit of laughter.
Rhia marched Codai, Vaer, and Fajra through the bushes, like prisoners to their execution. Vaer thought this place look spectacular. And he wasn't quite sure just why they had to be manipulated like this. It wasn't as if they'd be able to find their way back through the trees to their camp on the beach... Rhia had made sure to take them through the most complicated paths she could fathom. Vaer's mind continued to wander like this, as he scanned the area for his long lost boyfriend, near pleading for that familiar face... when at last his eyes came to rest on the girl in the shadows. Her dark eyes drew him in, as if under a spell, he couldn't look away. He had never seen this woman before in his life, and yet, somehow he knew her name.
Kirari the thought spilled into his thoughts lightly, like cream through tea, but at the same time it was all he could hear. It was her voice. And someway he knew only he could hear. That her these words were meant only for him. That is my name. Kirari is my name. Welcome Vaer... I hope you'll find our accommodations... satisfying.
With a secret wink, and a flash of dark hair, she was gone, disappeared into the trees like she never existed in the first place...
"Pay attention." barked Rhia, somehow her liquid voice having the opposite effect of it's previous enchantment, after having listened to that girl... her name...
"Who's Kirari?" Vaer asked aloud. Now able to speak and move once more. Rhia had let them free from her spell, but no one had bothered trying to run, knowing fully well she could catch them again just as easy.
Rhia's eyes widened just a bit, a moment of surprise, but she settled herself again, with another dazzling smile. "I see you've met our leader."
Less than 20 minutes later, the trees were already visibly thinning, becoming less dense, and seeping through bare patches in the leafy canopies above, was the brilliant sunshine, lighting their way.

Troy watched as Zarya took off, and felt a strong, compulsive urge to follow her--and yet... he knew if he left now, Kirari would not be happy...
He slowly walked back up the hill to the silent clearing. "Everyone listen up!" Troy bellowed. "We need to leave here now. Now that the surprise is half over, we have one more thing to show you. But you'll have to follow me!"
Khana ran toward Troy and slipped her pale hand between his warm fingers and held on tight.
"I'll help lead!" Khana said smiling.
Troy looked down at her, rather uncomfortably, but shrugged and said, "Come along."
Claire picked up Fuchsia and looked at Dune slowly, "Should we follow?" She asked him quietly so only he could hear.
"I don't know... i don't like the looks of this. Everyone seems so solemn... and... well, sad." Dune replied, "Perhaps we should stay here."
"I wanna go with them." Fuchsia said, "Please mommy!"
Claire shook her head. "You heard what Dune said."
Dune placed his hand on Claire's shoulders and brought her attention to the five beings standing near the trees. Each one of them was staring at them.
"We have to go. To keep Fuchsia safe." Dune said. "I don't know those people... but they aren't being themselves. i can tell. And if we don't do what they say, then we'll end up killed."
"But if we do what they say, we'll end up just like them."
"I won't let that happen to you." Dune said warmly.
Claire smiled up at him and the two of them set off after Troy and Khana.
Aeros noticed that Dune and Claire had debated whether or not to go, and they seemed to have voted yes, so he turned to Raelynn, "I'm going." he said, "You don't have to. Take Petra home and be safe if you'd like. But I can't let Khana leave Raelynn... i can't let her leave me again--especially not with Troy."
Shana and Zestos didn't hesitate for even a moment upon following Troy and Khana. Both wanted so desperately for something to go their way... and this was at least something--whether it turned out good or bad... they didn't care.
Shana however was a tad disappointed that Zarya had left the clearing without giving her the chance to appologize... This was the third time that had happened to her--and eventually she was going to have to succeed... she just had to!
Ammos stood and stayed close to Troy and Khana. He didn't like them at all... there was just something about them that set his teeth on edge... he used to literally love Troy--or Dimitri rather. He smiled at the thought of all those years leading up to the meeting of the cloaked boy... just to find out that he loved another--that same other who had just flown away... "Troy..." Ammos said slowly, "You can't just let her leave."
"It doesn't matter that she's left." Troy said, "She is of no real importance in the next mission."
"How can you say that?" Ammos hissed, "How can you stay so calm and tell me that Zarya doesn't matter in everything that you do? You love her! I don't care who the hell this Kirari person is--but she's messed with your mind!"
"She has indeed messed with it... she's allowed me to see the light."
Ammos was so very tempted to just punch Troy right then and there. But he did not.
Kirari made Brooke, Cadac, Aaron, Kerai and Voril obey her once more, and forced them to follow Khana and Troy. Only a few remained in the clearing, the two firebenders and the baby and it's parents now. But she had faith that they would go. They would all go. They would want to see Zarya again. And if she had it her way... Zarya would end up right where she wanted her to be.

"She's done more then mess with his mind, she's messed with all of us. She's broken the reason we are all here, the Avatar, and now she's using him to make us do stuff too." Sira glared at Troy. "It's so unlike you to find a way to make everything go wrong, you know? But i'm starting to think that's the way it was all along.... making trouble use to be our job." Archer raised his eyebrows at the last comment, of course thinking of all that stuff would make Sira think were they came from, if only she could use that determination to come up with some good plan or something!
Nyx reached the top of the hill and collapsed to her knees. Grasping a stump beside her, she panted and tried to catch her breath. Once she was able to stand again, she peered through the treeline, hidden in branches and leaves. She stared ahead at the camp, the same samp from her dream. Directly in front of her were several people all standing in a grup. the look on three of the four faces were traced with a look of anxiety.
Nyx ignore them, and scanned the rest of the area, stopping to rest on a cave-like entrance.
There... she thought, that's the cave from my dream... Theia.

Troy rolled his eyes as Khana held tightly to his hand, and then looked over his shoulder at Ammos, Sira and Archer who were the closest followers. “You’re all insane.” He laughed, “I was born into a criminal family—my father is the very man that we’ve been fighting against for five years… and I am not a trouble maker—I am not on his side.”
“Then why the hell are you acting as if you are?” Ammos asked.
“I’m not—“
“Where are we going Troy?” Archer said quickly, “Where are we heading?”
“We’re going to my new home.” Troy said slowly, “my camp site.”
“Why?” Sira asked.
“To see Kirari…”
“I won’t go to her!” Ammos snapped. “I can’t!”
“Well we’re already here.” Troy said slowly.
“Home!” Khana smiled brightly.
Ammos stared in awe as Troy pulled back the leaves and bushes to reveal a very fancy camp site. There were four large tents set up, and a strange gazebo set up overtop of a massive camp fire. The trees had been cleared to create a perfectly round clearing in the woods they had been storming through.
After taking in the sights of the camp grounds Ammos took notice of a woman standing on a top of a mound of dirt. Her hair was long and lilac coloured. She was looking down on the people surrounding her as if she were the queen. Ammos noticed a familiar red braid and new instantly that Codai was standing there next to the curly mane of Fajra. He also took notice of a woman and a small boy to whom he was not familiar with, but they were both looking up, past the lilac haired woman and to the cliff behind her. Ammos looked up and noticed a ledge with a cave on it up near the top.
“Ah—Fentis my love!” Kirari said happily, “You’ve returned with the subjects!” The lilac haired girl jumped off of her mound of dirt and pushed through the crowd, shoving Codai and Fajra out of the way as she ran toward Troy, her arms wide open.
Suddenly Ammos noticed a messy blonde haired boy watching as Kirari left the grouping.
“Vaer—“ Ammos spluttered before he could stop himself.
The blonde boy turned toward Ammos and gasped. “Ammos?”
Raelynn shook her head. “I’m coming with you.” She said, “I’m not going to allow you to leave me… last time that happened it took me far too long to find you again… and I was scared.”
Aeros threw his arms around Raelynn and hugged her tightly until finally she spoke up again. “Everyone’s already gone. We should hurry…”
“Right.” He took his daughter’s hand and then smiled at Raelynn as she linked arms with him.
“Let’s go.” She said as they followed the line of friends.
Claire Stayed very close to Dune as Kirari circled the group of them. The blue haired boy, Ammos had tried to leave the group and join the others three times, but every time Kirari caught his eye and she gave him a very dirty look, and so he remained still.
“Fentis… where is the water bending ghost hunter?” Kirari asked, “And what about his little girl, and the child?”
“It was not my duty to gather them Kirari.” Troy said slowly, looking to his feet.
“It was mine m’lady!” Khana spoke up quickly. I was to get them here along with the fire bending male and the Avatar.”
“You failed me.” Kirari said, “Where is the avatar? Surly you brought her at least.”
“I—I didn’t…”
“you come back to me without the Avatar?” Kirari said, for the first time, raising her voice. “You have the nerve to come back here?”
“I’m so sorry Kirari.. I—“
“You shall pay for your wrong doings.” Kirari pulled out a whip and raised it into the air.
Suddenly a different whip cracked in Kirari’s face. This whip was made of water and as everyone followed it back to the wielder they spotted Aeros and Raelynn standing side by side.
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you.” Aeros said flatly. “that’s my sister!”
Kirari smirked and raised her whip once again into the air. And this time she cracked it loudly into the air. Fuchsia and Petra screamed in fear as Kirari smiled at Aeros. “I suppose a little fight could be worth it… eh?”
Everyone nervously backed off as Aeros and Kirari stepped toward each other. “I’ll fight you.” Aeros said, trying to cover his nerves.
“I know you will.” Kirari smiled.
Shana looked to Troy and growled, “You serve her? You picked her over the Avatar?”
Troy nodded. “Of course I did. She understands me.”
“Obviously!” Shana hissed, putting her hair behind her ear as she raged upon Troy, “She understands you because she’s fed you what she wants you to think! You don’t even understand yourself do you?”
“That’s a lie!” Troy snapped pulling his hand out of Khana’s and stepping toward his younger sister.
“It’s not a lie Troy. You love Zarya… remember that!” Zestos said jumping into the argument.
“I do not—“
“You do!” Shana hissed. “When I first met the two of you… you risked everything you had to save her. You almost died! And then the two of you lived together and… Troy—remember!”
Troy stomped his foot and a large rock rose from the ground. “Zarya… is not my love.”
He threw the rock toward Shana as Zestos pulled her out of the way. The rock landed near Claire and Dune.
“Claire… take Fuchsia.” Dune said. “Keep her safe.” Dune ran toward Shana, Zestos and Troy, blowing a large gust of air toward the earthbender. Shana and Zestos each shot fire straight toward the boy who was forced to duck into the ground to get out of the way. He rose to the surface again and shot large stones toward his opponents.
Vaer watched as Ammos awkwardly ran toward him and the others. “Hello Ammos!” Codai smiled wrapping his arms around him. “It’s been a while.
“Hello Codai…” Ammos said. “Fajra…” Fajra smiled and waved ever so slightly as Ammos turned to Vaer who held his breathe.
“Uh… Vaer —hi“ Ammos said slowly. “I—“ Vaer threw his arms around Ammos and hugged him tightly. As Rhia, the girl who had a son near her turned upon them looking very scared as if she were following some unspoken order that she was not fond of and she motioned for her son to back off as she spun in a circle and shot water toward Fajra who reacted quickly by shooting fire out of her fist causing the attacks to subside.
Khana slowly stepped toward Archer and closed her eyes tightly as she shot fire toward him. He easily bended the fire and shot it off into the distance. “I—“ She spluttered.
“fight me!” Khana snapped to Archer and Sira. “I—I… I have to fight you…” She looked to Kirari who nodded to reassure Khana that she had gotten her orders right.
Khana turned back to Sira and Archer who were eyeing each other oddly.
Claire ran toward Raelynn who was also backing away from the fighting with her daughter and set Fuchsia down.
“I don’t like this…” Raelynn said looking around at the fighting. “We need to stop this.”
Claire nodded and looked over her shoulder at the five beings who had followed them like zombies… something was very off about them. Why were they so out of it? Were they under the same type of control as Troy seemed to be?
If so, then why were they not fighting?
“I’m Petra…” A small voice chimed.
“My name is… Fuchsia.” Fuchsia smiled. “I’m… I’m scared.”
“Me too!” Petra whined, tears coming to both of the children’s eyes.
Raelynn reacted immediately and bent down to scoop up her daughter. “it’s ok Hon… we’ll stop this.”
Claire nodded and then followed suit slowly, picking up Fuchsia. “I—you’ll be ok.” She said awkwardly, hugging her daughter.
Ondryn looked toward the ground and then back up at Ryka. “I want to go with you. I… could we wait until I just… say goodbye?”
“I am going now Ondryn…” Ryka smiled warmly, “You either come or you don’t.”
There was a long silence and then finally, “I’ll come.” Ondryn nodded. Ryka smiled and then brought the bronze device closer to her face.
Kirari continued battling Aeros who looked bound and determined to kill her. She knew he couldn’t, but his persistence was getting in the way a little. “Why are you fighting me?” She asked him as she avoided a large ice spike.
“Because you almost harmed my sister!” Aeros yelled in anger.
“It was her own faults that brought this on!”
“but—“
“But nothing boy!” Kirari roared. “I am going to stop fighting you now.”
“Good.” Aeros smirked, “it’ll make it easier to kill you—“
A loud buzzing filled the air suddenly and everyone froze.
“What is that?” Claire asked loudly.
“Claire!” Dune yelled, “Come here!”
“What’s going on?” Shana asked.
“The surprise?” Troy and Khana asked turning toward Kirari. “Is this it?”
Kirari nodded as the sky changed from a light baby blue to a sepia brown.
The buzzing was growing louder and louder as everyone looked around, trying to find the source. Both Petra and Fuchsia were wailing with tears now, covering their ears as their mothers held them closely.
And then the buzzing stopped abruptly.
“What—“ The rest of Archer’s question was cut off by a loud BOOM as a strange wave of energy burst from the device in from Ryka’s hand up in the cliffs cave.
Sira, Claire, Raelynn, Aeros, Fuchsia, Petra, and Khana were suddenly gone from the clearing.
“Sira!” Archer called out over the fading noise.
“Claire…? Where did she go?” Dune yelled running toward Kirari.
“What happened?” Troy asked Kirari as the air silenced again.
Kirari just looked to him and smiled. As another BOOM filled the air and Archer, Ammos, Vaer, Fajra, Codai, and the five zombies vanished.
Troy looked around in fear at the remaining people in the clearing, a woman and her son, Kirari, Shana, Zestos, and himself.
“Shana… come here.” Zestos said stepping toward her and taking her hand.
Shana looked to Troy and then to Zestos as a final BOOM rang through the air and the camp site around them vanished.
((There are some characters that weren’t there… like Pater and his minions—they didn’t go anywhere… but Zarya should… not my choice, but I think she did and she would have gone with Troy’s group? I dunno.
I should explain. Wynnie and I have been planning this for a while, ever since before Ryka was a character… anyway… everyone’s been sent back in time… and it’s going to be epic if we can manage to continue the story… aha :P so… yeah. They’re all in groups… and the groups will change every now and then because Ryka didn’t fix her time bending device correctly… and we were thinking that everyone could have their own mini quest things where they go off into a different time on their own to fix something from their past… and yeah… aha… sorry Raewyn for doing it… but you weren’t… soooo..... also, Ryka, Ondryn, Talfryn and Izoda... you can decide what do to with them...))

GROUP 1
Claire looked up slowly, clutching Fuchsia tightly in her arms. She wasn't sure what had just happened but she was sitting on a grassy hill with her child crying quietly next to her.
She looked around and at first thought that she was alone with Fuchsia but then spotted a boy with dark hair laying on the ground nearby.
"Aeros?" She asked, "Is that you?"
Aeros got to his feet shakily and looked around. "Claire? H-hi..." He said slowly, "What happened? Where are we?"
"We seem to be exactly where we were a minute ago." Claire said, "Only there are no trees."
"Ah..." Aeros said slowly, pretending that made sense to him. "Where is--Raelynn!" he gasped running toward her. "Raelynn are you alright?" She was laying in the grass part way down the hill, her one arm laying protectively over Petra.
"I'm alright..." She said slowly. "Petra? Sweety...? Are you ok?"
"it hurts..." She said simply pointing to her ears as she opened her large green eyes.
Raelynn smiled, "it's ok!" she said as she scooped up her daughter. "You'll be alright."
"Where is Dune?" Fuchsia asked suddenly. "Where did he go?"
Claire's eyes opened wide suddenly. Was he ok? Did something happen to him? She wasn't sure what had even happened to her yet... she could only hope he was ok.
"Where are we?" A confused Sira asked as she wandered toward the group of them. "Was this that surprise troy was talking about? What did that woman do to us?"
Aeros didn't know the answer. But he knew who would. So he rounded angrily on his sister who was sitting nearby. "Khana. Start talking."
"I..." She said slowly. "I don't know what happened."
"You're lying." Aeros said. "i know you well enough to figure that out."
"i'm not lying!" She hissed, "Kirari told us that we needed to get you here. That's all... but.."
"but?" Raelynn asked.
"Well... i think i might have an idea of what happened." Khana said slowly.
"Out with it." Sira said sharply.
"I think... we might have gone back in time." Khana said. At that moment the last member of those in the clearing stood up. And smiled broadly. Aaron knew what was going on. Everyone looked toward him.
GROUP 2
Ammos looked into Vaer's eyes for a minute as they lay beside each other on the hill and slowly they stood up together. Vaer took Ammos's hand and they stood in silence for a minute. before Ammos slowly took his hand back, shaking his head. "Where are we?"
"On a hill." Codai replied, oh so helpfully.
"Thank you." Ammos said sarcastically.
"there's the cliff... we're in the same place we were in ten minutes ago..." Archer said. "Troy's house should be just over there." He pointed to the east.
"Troy's house isn't really important right now though." Fajra said. "All that really is important is that everyone else is...well... gone."
Voril and Kerai exchanged confused glances. Neither had any idea how they had gotten here... the last thing either remembered was a woman with lilac coloured hair coming up to them and touching each of their foreheads... and then their minds were blank... as if she had brainwashed them.
"i think it would be in our best interests to figure out where we are..."
"When we are." Cadac filled in, jumping to his feet and walking over to them. "i've been around my friend aaron long enough to understand what happened."
"What are you talking about?" Ammos asked.
"Like i said..." Cadac said slowly, "We're... not in the same time we were in a few minutes ago."
"What do you mean?" Vaer asked, "how?"
"I don't know. But someone can control time. And i think it's that purple haired chick." Cadac said.
"no!" Fajra said slowly, "Codai! Do you remember that night that we cuddled by the fire on the beach?" She suddenly realized what she said and sunk down, hiding her blushing face from the crowd.
"Yes! That insane woman was ranting about time traveling!" Codai smiled. "She said she could control time.
"You know who did this then?" Vaer asked.
"I think so..." Codai said. Archer slowly walked up to the group and everyone stood in a circle silently.
"I think we need to find her then." Archer said. "We could get home that way ... right?"
GROUP 3
Brooke was the first to stand. She was surrounded by people laying all over the hill. She couldn't remember half of their faces, who were they? She couldn't even remember how she got here... the last thing she remembered was that purple haired girl touching her forehead. She shook her head and looked around at the people. Only one of them really stood out to her. She looked like a girl she once knew...
"Shana!" Zestos said loudly, rushing toward the familiar girl.
her name was familiar too...
"Excuse me..." A male voice said at Brooke's feet. "Could you help me up?"
She looked down and grabbed the outstretched hand. "I'm Brooke..." She said to the man when he was standing.
"I'm Arak." he smiled. "it's nice to meet you Brooke."
Brooke smiled and looked around. "What happened?"
"We've gone back in time." A mystical voice said from behind them. Everyone turned and saw Troy helping the woman with purple hair to her feet. "Isn't it exciting?" she asked happily. "I'm excited."
"You bi-" Shana started.
"I would prefer you not call me that. thank you." Kirari cut across. "now if you'll excuse me. I have business to attend to." And then she was gone.
Troy slowly turned back to the others and stared at them. "I--I'm sorry... I didn't know this would happen..."
"Time traveling?" Shana asked, "How the hell am i supposed to apologize to her now?"
"To who?" troy asked.
"Zarya." Shana hissed.
Troy instantly looked away, just the sound of the name brought on some distant longing.
"Let's go..." troy said. "i'm sure we can find something better to do than stay here on this hill."
"I'm not going anywhere with you." Zestos said. "not until you change back to your old self."
"Well it would not be in our best interest to split up." Rhia said walking toward the group with her son holding her hand.
"Well you stay with Troy then." Zestos said. "I don't trust you either. All of you are working with kirari... i can't say that i will ever trust you..."
"Zestos calm down." Shana said slowly. "Let's stay here for a bit and get to know one another."
"What?" Zestos asked.
"I want to learn all i can about the ones i don't know... which is most of them." She whispered. "I don't want to trust someone who might stab me in the back."
"Fair enough..." he said quietly.
"I'm Brooke!" Brooke said stepping forward.
"I'm... Arak." Arak said standing next to Brooke.
"Shana..."
"I'm Zestos."
"You all know me..." Troy said. "I'm Troy."
"Rhia!"
"I am... Talfryn!" the small boy smiled.
"Ok.. so now that we've introduced ourselves..." Troy said. "Let's go!!!"
Claire looked up slowly, clutching Fuchsia tightly in her arms. She wasn't sure what had just happened but she was sitting on a grassy hill with her child crying quietly next to her.

group1:Sira kept herself from snapping. "Why are you smiling?" she growled. "And who the heck are you?" She didn't remeber him from anywhere.
group 2:
Archer was so confused. So so confused.
((I think we should DEFINITELY pick this up again though... I'll write up a post either later today or tomorrow and see if anyone responds... I know it's been like over a year :-// many apologies. I'm a terrible person.))
((xD that's good... I wonder if Andy ever goes on Goodreads anymore? I don't think sydney has in a while?)
As Aaron began explaining things, Khana gazed around the wooded enclosure and sighed. It was so beautiful here... she was aware everyone was so confused, as was she. She certainly wasn't expecting this. She didn't really know what was going on, but seeing her brother so distraught by whatever was happening made her almost want to reach out and tell him everything would be okay. Almost. She had to remind herself that he wasn't really her brother. His father was the Avatar back before Zarya. And Avatars are not allowed... She decided she would keep hating him just as much as anyone else who ever talked to her. The only one who would have ever been able to understand her would have been Korina. But Korina was dead now. And it was all these peoples' fault. They could have stopped it but they didn't. They could have done SOMETHING.
Without a second glance, she stormed away from the group into the forest. She heard Aeros try to call her back but it was too late. Even if she stayed, she would always be too far away to hear. The others watched her disappear into the darkening woodland, that was alright. They didn't need her anyway. Aaron would take care of them... if he didn't, why should she care. She didn't know where she was, or how she was going to get back but she had to find Kirari. Kirari would understand her. Kirari would figure this out... as the sun fell beneath the covered horizon Khana stopped to pick up a stick. Using her magnificent Firelord powers, she easily lit to top and controlled the flame to guide her toward her master.

Codai let out a long whistle. This made sense for some reason. Not really knowing why, he'd always felt like he had some glorious destiny to fulfill. "C'mon guys," he started excitedly, squeezing Fajra's hand, "This is EPIC! It's like a new adventure!"
Vaer stared and pondered over whether or not he should punch his long time friend in the head. It could help clear his sanity, you never know. Then, catching a glance from Ammos he smiled as well.
"You know... Codai's right."
Codai's grin faltered in confusion. "I am?" He enquired incredulously.
"Yes! I mean, so what if we're stuck out in the middle of nowhere in some foreign timeline or not, at least we have each other. And at least that girl, Kirari isn't with us." With that, Ammos grinned and agreed. It had been an extremely long time since he'd seen Vaer and that was certainly a feat worth celebrating.
"They're right." He exclaimed, then blushed when everyone turned to look at him. "Well they ARE..."
Fajra laughed and gave Codai a big smooch on the cheek, causing him to make a funny noise and blush like a sunburned penguin. "Yes, it's always great to remain positive... but... Vaer..."
"Yeah?" He looked over and raised an eyebrow.
"Your sister. You were going to find her."
He looked deflated for a minute or two, but Ammos stepped up and took his hand. "You'll find her. I promise. I'll search to the end of the earth with you if that's what it takes."
"Awe..." chuckled Codai, while Fajra elbowed him in the ribs.
"You're right. Of course I will... I found you after all, didn't I?"
The three strangers stood there awkwardly for a bit while the others laughed, until one of them spoke up.
"So like... how are we going to find the others?"
((I literally keep little or no track of these three and don't really know WHO they are to be honest xD))

Rhia held Talfryn close, worried to death over where her daughter had gone. She only hoped Quest was safe with Izoda, until they could reunite safely once again. He was a good father... he would protect her with his life. Unless Kirari told him otherwise. Her stomach made a queasy flip.
"I don't know what you all think about me, but I'm not in league with that woman... none of us are, at least not willingly." Rhia reported clearly (because for some reason she can talk now o.O).
Troy shot Rhia a glance of mild fury, "What are you talking about? Kirari is our Queen. She is all good. One day, she will rule the Earth and all those who dwell and any who dare defy her beauty and wisdom shall be burned and tortured until death. But for us, her faithful servants shall bask in her awe inspiring glory and be adorned by nothing but her love and power!" As he said this, Shana caught a flash of a greedy red in his eye. Troy shook his head suddenly and stuttered "I mean... uhm... we should figure a way back, my way."
With that, she made a lunge for his throat but Zestos held her back.
"What happened to you??" Shana screamed, "You're not yourself! The old Troy would never have spoken like this!"
Rhia spoke up, "This is exactly what I mean. Your friend Troy is NOT himself... He is under this spell, they all were. When she is near her words penetrate your mind and turn you into an obedient zombie. She is all he can think about. I am lucky enough to have been born with some sort of built in immunity to her power, but my husband was not. I had to stay with him, for my children. For my family. There was nothing I could do about it. For most of her brainwashed servants her power only penetrates so deep but she has touched Troy on a much deeper level. He may never be the same, but don't blame him for Kirari's doings. She has hurt us all. And my daughter..." Rhia felt a tear slip down her face, "My daughter is missing. We shouldn't be fighting, we should be trying to find a way out of this mess! I have people missing that I care about, we all do. For now we have to work as a group and try to fix this. Troy... you can stay or leave. That goes for all of you, but my son and I are going. I'm going to find my family. You're all welcome to tag along if we can learn to trust one another."
((Sorry if that was a little extreme, I just wanted to get something going))

*WHOOSH*
Dune awoke with a start.
Surveying this world he had now entered was a blur of gold and blue... He blinked several times, and sat up clutching his head.
All around him was sand, stretching as far as the eye could see. Not a creature or a sound penetrated the still desert in which he rested. Above, the clear blue, empty sky draped across the landscape like a carpet of death. The sun rose large and bright above the rolling, parched dunes. It was hot. Very hot. He felt a trickle of sweat race down his face, followed by another. He stood up shakily and looked around some more. It was all the same, no matter which direction he turned. He appeared to be lost in the middle of a great big sandy desert. For a minute he thought it ironic that he be lost here of all places... his name was Dune after all.
Then his memory bulb clicked on and his mind was seized with memories of what had just happened... what... had just happened...?
He remembered standing in a clearing amidst a chaotic battle... Aeros fighting that woman... fire everywhere, people cursing and throwing things... Claire and Fuchsia running off toward Raelynn... Claire and Fuchsia! Panicking, he raced around the great big Dune in front of him, calling out. "Claire!?" No answer. "Fuchsia!?" He was all alone. No sound but the wind and sand, biting at his heels. The air was dry and he felt thirsty just being here.
Sweating still, he removed his jacket and tossed it in the sand. He took off his sweater and tore the bottom of his pants to make shorts. Using one of the torn pant legs, he wrapped it around his head like a bandana to keep the sun from giving him heat stroke. He may have hailed from the North but he knew how to take care of himself. As a boy he'd been forced to attend Survival Camp for six weeks... thank you very much.
No matter what had happened to him, how he had gotten here or how he planned to return to Claire, he set off and started walking. Nothing was going to get done waiting around and crying about it.

"DADDY! HELP ME!"
Izoda opened him eyes in startling confusion and was instantly attacked by a viscous wave of salty water. Gasping for air and starting to swim, he looked around wildly. What was happening?? Where was he??
"DADDY! I CAN'T SWIM DA-BLURGH* *BLURGH*"
Scanning for the sound of his daughter's voice, Izoda swam violently through the icy sea water. He couldn't see her anywhere. He took a deep breath and dived under the surface. THERE! about six feet down, there was his daughter. Unconscious and sinking fast. His whole body shot straight downward like a bullet and he grabbed her by the hand. A second later he broke through the surface once again, pulling her onto his back and looking frantically for land. There it was, about a quarter mile to the East. He swam faster than he'd ever swam in his life, and reached the shore within five minutes.
Setting her down and exhausted as hell, he had no time to rest. He performed CPR and felt his heart rise fifty feet when his daughter coughed up the water she'd swallowed and started to breathe.
"Daddy! My throat hurts!"
"Oh Quest, good girl... I'm so glad you're okay. I'll take care of you, I promise." he muttered and muttered, breathing heavily and scouring up and down the beach shore for driftwood to make a fire. It was cold, and having wet clothes did not help. The sun was just starting to rise when Quest suddenly pointed out the obvious.
"We're not at home." she sobbed, confused.
"No. No we're not."
"Where are we then?"
"I don't know hon, I don't know..."
"Where's Talfryn?" she demanded, squinting at him like her father might be hiding him behind his back.
"I don't know."
"Where's Mommy?"
"I don't know, Quest."
"How did we get here!?"
"I DON'T KNOW ANY MORE THAN YOU DO! WILL YOU PLEASE SHUT UP AND LET ME CONCENTRATE??"
Quest started to cry loudly. Izoda's head was pounding. The fire wasn't starting. And they appeared to have vanished through space and possibly time for no apparent reason to the middle of nowhere. All alone with a screaming child.
"Stay here." He commanded, and went off into the jungle before Quest could utter another word.
((terrible father, I know))
((I'll do Theia, Nyx, Ondryn and Ryka later... I haven't decided where they are or what they're doing yet. Also, Theia and Nyx remained in the 'regular' time period))
Without a second glance, she stormed away from the group into the forest. She heard Aeros try to call her back but it was too late. Even if she stayed, she would always be too far away to hear.

((Sooo…. I’m going to try this. But I only remember some of my characters plots. Like I was going to a love triangle with Brooke, Cadac and Aaron only to have her end up falling in love with Arak—but the problem is that I have NO idea who Brooke is. So yeah, it’s all sort of similar, so I’ll just go for it. Also, I have too many characters, so I’m just picking a few as main ones and the others will be there, and their plots will happen, but they’ll just be supporting characters. So if you like… care, I’m picking Troy, Aeros, Ammos, Claire and Shana. If you need to know who my characters are, I’ll try to answer them even if I don’t fully know.
Also, someone just called my house and was like “bury me” and then hung up. I’m so very frightened.))

“You can see here,” Aaron said, motioning to the small twigs growing around the hill, “The trees are just starting to grow. The forest is young… if my calculations are correct, then we’re… roughly eighty years in the past.”
Aeros was unable to say anything. What did that even mean? How did they go back in time? Was that even possible? His eyes flicked to Khana, she really didn’t know… how could she trust that Kirari woman if she didn’t even know what she was planning? Was she really that far gone? She wanted so bad to hurt people, to get back at the world for what happened to her that she had acted so rashly, ad sent us back in time. I knew how she felt. I’d lost the same two sisters she had. And if I’d lost Raelynn, as she had Jared…
I looked to Raelynn who was still holding Petra closely, next to Claire who was holding her own daughter.
“Alright,” Claire said, cutting off any further explanations by Aaron, “I’ve heard enough. I believe you. Now how do we get back?”
“I’m smart.” Aaron pointed out, “but I’m not that smart. I honestly have no idea…”

Ammos wasn’t entirely sure how he felt about being trapped in a separate timeline with Vaer. Was he mad at him still? Was he over it? He didn’t know. He couldn’t figure out how he felt, but that wasn’t nearly as important as the rest of the happenings.
“Who the hell are you two?” He asked the two strangers, taking the lead unintentionally. No one else was and it was time to do something.
“I’m Voril.” The red haired boy said before pointing to the sandy haired girl next to him. “This is Kerai. Who are you?”
“I’m Ammos,” Ammos responded simply, “This is Va—”
Verai cut him off, “You’re the guard of the fire lord.” His nostrils had flared and his brow furrowed.
“No!” Ammos insisted, “I used to be. Before Pater took over. This is stupid. We can introduce ourselves later.” He turned to Archer to whom he only knew one thing about besides his name, and that was that he was a very skilled firebender. “Archer take the lead.”
“Where are we going?” Archer asked nervously.
“You said Troy’s house is here somewhere.” Ammos said.
“What do we need a house for?” Fajra asked.
“We don’t.” Ammos responded, “But we’ll be able to tell where we are—”
“When we are.” Cadac corrected again.
“Alright, I’ll take you.”Archer replied with a nod, turning to lead them toward the house he’d lived in for three years.

((omg you are back!!! How do you guys remeber all of this?!!?I don't even know where my charries are and i only have 2!))Archer led them to the house. He opened the door for the other to go inside, but caught Sira's wrist and waited for the door to close before beiginning to talk to her. "Sira, we need to get Zarya and Troy back together... And the rest of the old group for that fact. This isn't going to last long."
"I know," She replied, leaning aginst the house. "I can feel it crumbling beneath us. Everything's so new... yet old. Maybe something good will come from this meeting tonight."
"We... We don't have to go." Archer said, "You know... we could just leave, disapper. Forget all of it ever happened."
"Arch... what are you saying?" Sira's eyes locked his.
"We could run away."
Sira shook her head. "Things arn't that bad yet.."
"But Sira... if they get worse," he took her hands, "promise me you'll tink about it?"
She held his eyes, and slowly nodded.

Khana stumbled through the mangled growth of older trees across the field from where Aaron and the others stood. She needed to find Kirari, no matter how betrayed and confused she felt... Knowing fully well that no one back there would help her. Following the dark ooze in her gut, she trampled on until she had appeared in another field.
It was completely dark now. The black sky above held no stars. The wind was silent and there were no trees or familiar landscapes to guide her. She had no way of navigating... everything was so different and confusing... she didn't understand any of it. Where was she? Was she dreaming, or just lost? The word "lost" echoed in her ears as though it had hit a nerve. And it had. She was lost... and all alone. She didn't even know who she was anymore... it wasn't just the scenery, she had been gone for a while. Falling to a heap on the ground, she covered her eyes and cried for the first time since her sister had died.

"It's so spooky in here..." Vaer gulped as he entered the log home.
Codai caught his eye through the dusty doorway. He nodded, "Empty as well... I wonder if anyone lives here."
Fajra straightened up and bit her lip, "Uhm... so if we're back in time, how are we supposed to know if anyone still lives here?"
"And where are Archer and Sira?" Ammos pondered allowed, "Hey firebenders!"
"Me?" Codai looked up from scraping dust off of the window sill.
Vaer sighed. "Codai, you're an airbender..."
"Oh right..."
"Looking for us?" Archer appeared in the hall with a smirk, trailed by Sira.
"Where were you...?" Ammos asked, shaking a little.
"We were just talking..." Sira hushed him, "Why so jumpy?"
"I'm just... worried. For the others. And confused. I want to know why this is all happening and who is responsible."
"We all feel that way..." Vaer said calmly, trying to take his hand. Ammos flinched and move away, ignoring him.
"What about that Ryka girl? I thought we established it was her." Fajra put in helpfully.
"Well we don't know that for certain..."
"It's the closest we have to an answer right now... I think we should try to trust each other until we have everything sorted out."

Rhia led the way. Of course she felt a little cautious, she barely knew most of these people. But then again, Codai and the others had told great stories about some of them. And she knew that Troy used to be a great leader. For now, however... he walked in the back, never saying anything other than "Are you sure you know where you're going?"
"Of course I do." Rhia would snap, though having no idea when and where she was. In the meantime she made way for her mother's house. It wasn't far, and it was the one place she knew that if Quest and Izoda were lost somewhere in their "when", would end up eventually.
Talfryn had let go of her hand a while ago and was now skipping along a series of ground rocks beside Troy. She had to keep glancing back to make sure he was safe.

He'd been walking for hours. The sun was lower in the sky now, but its heat and blinding power was beginning to slow his pace... greatly. Dune collapsed, exhausted. If only he had some water... then he could go on...
Wait? What was that? Glittering on the horizon? It looked like... water! And palm trees... a little Oasis. Perfect. He managed to heave himself up and walk further into the desert to claim his prize.

Quest was silent. This wasn't normal. She was never silent... but she was scared. Most little girls in her class growing up, would always scream and cry when their daddies didn't come back in time. They would always think of the worst things possible... but she trusted her daddy. She knew he would come back. He was mean sometimes, but he loved her. She knew that... Quest hugged her knees tighter and looked to the ocean, pretending her mommy and brother were standing majestically on a big boat to come and save them. It wasn't true of course, but it was nice to pretend some times. Her stomach growled, but she chose to ignore it. She would be home soon enough, eating cabbage soup and sugar bread!

Group 2:"Hold on now. We need to get everything out here." Sira said, sitting down at the table. The other people in the group were chattering so she pulled out her knife and stabbed it in the tables wood. "Shut it!" That got them to quiet down. Archer sat next to her and the others followed, taking chairs around the circular table. "I'm Sira, this is Archer. We're firebenders. We were with Zarya and Troy during the first battle. Now there is something wrong with Troy and maybe even with Zarya. Kirari's up to something, but all i know is that we need Zarya and Troy both to win this. I don't want another whatever it is she wants. So were here to help them and defeat her for a better. life."
Sira turned to Archer. "And there's my brother, Arak, who might be working for Kirari but either way he's trying to stop us. I can't tell you why though. And it's a long story about all of it. It doesn't really matter. Ok, who's next?" He looked to the person next to him, Fajra. "Tell it all."
((Haha, I love Sira xD))
Fajra and the others stood silent and stunned.
"Well?" Sira demanded.
"Okay... first, I must say how impressive that was. I no longer have any doubts about the two of you, not for the moment anyway... and you're right, we should get everything out there and un-muddled." She took a deep breath and continued, "Hi, I'm Fajra... and I... I originally left my adoptive family in search of my real parents. I've always felt different and never knew why... but when my firebending powers evolved I knew I didn't belong there. Anyway, while looking for my birth parents I ran into Codai and the others. I thought they were all really lame and stupid, but then I fell in love with- err..." she paused and blushed awkwardly, "Anyway, I realized that even though I will probably never find my birth parents, I have found my home with Codai, and my allegiance shall forever remain in Zarya's hands. Wherever she may be... There are a few I'd rather not hang out with 24/7 but it's all worth it in the end. This is my home and I wouldn't trade it for the world..." she gazed around the room of silent faces and then blushed once more, "I mean, you're all okay... I don't hate you or anything... uhm... er... Codai?"
Codai grinned and took her hand, "Oh boy! My turn... well dudes, my name is Codai... as you can tell, because she just called me Codai and that isn't a nickname or anything... so... uhm... yeaaahhh... anyway, I'm really awesome and I like flying. I can fly! Sometimes... when I have my glider... which I don't have anymore... but I'm an airbender! So I can jump really high. Like REALLY high. I can jump higher than Vaer! Wanna see??"
Everyone slowly nodded and allowed Codai and prove how high he could jump. Unfortunately, he didn't counter in the ceiling, so he fell back to earth with an unpleasent bump on his head. Clutching it, he mumbled a short "My allegiance is with Zarya..." and slumped to the ground.
Vaer looked at his feet. He was the next in line, though he'd never much excelled at public speaking...
"Um... hi. I'm Vaer." he started shaking and had to hold onto the table behind him so as not to fall over. "Sorry... I'm not really good at this sort of thing. Maybe if you all turn your backs to me?"
"Just SAY it." Sira and Fajra snapped in unison.
"Fine, okay... well I'm Vaer. I come from a place very far away... I fled with Codai, my sister Ondryn and Dune... we left to challenge Pater for destroying our home. Before we could get there however, we ran into Zarya and 'Team Avatar', so when they learned what our mission was, they let us join their group and we faced him together... we may have failed the first time around but it won't happen again... and my sister-" his eyes grew glassy and emotionless, "-my sister will come back. Anyway, we made a lot of friends... some of them made it but not all of them survived."
"... and?" Archer added helpfully.
"Oh... and my allegiance is to Zarya."
"Alright, Ammos?"
Fajra and the others stood silent and stunned.

((Hehe))((Oh man I forgot where I've left arak...))
Arak opened a letter and read it over. His have the order to his crew and their flyin fire ship turned course and headed for Ba Sing Sae. He was finally going to meet his nameless general and get revenge on his brother.
((Sooooo I... will... Sira's with Archer now, so I'll just adjust the list, I just need it to write because I fail at remembering who is when.
Group 1:
Claire, Raelynn, Aeros, Fuchsia, Petra, and Khana, also.... Aaron.
Group 2:
Sira, Archer, Ammos, Vaer, Fajra, Codai, Voril, Kerai, Cadac
Group 3:
Rhia, Talfryn, Kirari, Shana, Zestos, Troy... and Zarya? Brooke, and Arak (i'll put him here because if you have nothing planned for him... i think i just might... but now you have something so that's cool--is he in normal time?)))

Aeros kept close to Raelynn and Claire as their daughters rolled gleefully in the grass.
"I really do think it might be time to move along--perhaps to find a way out of this time we've stuck ourselves in?" Aaron tried, hoping to finally get a reaction out of them all.
"Not yet." Aeros said sharply, "Not until Petra and Fuchsia have calmed down a little."
"They're playing in the grass," Aaron pointed out, "They seem calm."
"They've also just been dragged through time--they're only children." Aeros argued, "Just let them be."
"I actually know an extensive amount about children." Aaron declared, "They're already scared for life--but they're over it as much as they can be. How about we just get going."
"I happen to be her father." Aeros said, "I say we wait."
"Aaron is right you know."
They all spun around to see Khana standing there, her arms crossed, her dark hair hung over her eyes. "She's been crying." Raeylynn said under her breath. "Why was she crying?"
"I don't know," Aeros said, just as quiet, careful to make sure Khana couldn't hear her. "Just keep her away from the babies. She's unstable."
"What makes you say that?" Claire asked boldly.
"Because instead of trying to make your kids forget this experience," Khana said simply, "You should be trying to fix the problem."
"Parenting comes first," Aeros said.
"There's always something." Khana said flatly, "Always something that comes before what's really important."
"Let's just stay here." Aaron decided suddenly.
"No, Khana's right." Raelynn said loudly, "It's time to get moving."
"You're agreeing with her?" Aeros asked quietly.
"There's something different." Raelynn decided with a shrug, "It makes sense anyway. Don't you want to go home?"
Group 2
Ammos looked up nervously. "My name is Ammos, and I'm pretty sure you all know me, so this thing we're doing right here, this is stupid."
"Ammos," Fajra warned, "Just do it."
Ammos rolled his eyes and hung his head into his hands, "Cool, great." He sighed, "I'm Ammos I can bend earth, I can see the future, which I guess is useless now that we're back in time, I used to guard Khana and Korina in the fire nation palace, and now I'm here. In a different time. Unable to ever get back and see my mother or younger sister ever again. So when you're all done playing games and getting to know each other, let me know." Ammos stood up quickly, scraping his chair against the floor and stormed toward a random door in the house.
"Wait!" Sira said, "What is your allegiance?"
Ammos turned and looked over his shoulder with a scowl. "Myself." He said flatly before leaving to investigate the house. They'd just stormed in. What if someone lived there? They were in a different time after all--no one had any idea what was really going on.
"Drama Queen," Cadac said because I have to use him since I have no other characters in this room. Suddenly all eyes fell on him and he faced them boldly. "A'right." He said flatly, "No clue who this Zarya chick is, no clue who any of you are really. My allegiance lies with my friend Brooke--though for what it's worth she's trying to find Zarya--still don't know who she is--and help her. So in a twisted way I'm with y'all in your Team-Zayra nonsense."
"It's not nonsense you fool." Sira snapped.
"I'm Voril." Voril cut off the argument before it started. "I don't really think I belong here. I have work to do." Voril got to his feet and headed toward the door they had come through, then turned back to Kerai. "You coming?"
She nodded nervously and waved to the others. "Bye!" She shot before leaving with her friend.
Group 3
Shana refused to hold Zestos' hand, and every time he'd casually reach for hers she'd slap it away and glare at him. She was infuriated. In fact--so infuriated that she couldn't focus on what was really important.
If Zarya hadn't gone back in time with them, then she was in serious danger. Shana and Zestos had just recently escaped Pater' palace, and with his team their tracks would be easily followed. The only problem was that, the trails couldn't lead through time. They' only lead them straight to Zarya's hiding place. Cyri, Kori, Ju Di.... each of them was probably already on their way straight to Zarya and it was time to find a way back to stop that from happening.
But there was no way to do that if they couldn't figure out how they'd gotten there in the first place. She was just filled with so much anger. So much that every time she looked at someone's face they reminded her of how much she hated everything. But every time she looked to the red haired girl she sighed, all the anger leaving immediately. There was just something about the girl that was familiar...
Group 1

((ok... sounds good? ))Sira scowled and Archer put his head in his hands. "Time? There are time benders now?" He moaned.
"So much for the four elements." Sira muttered. She stood up with idea. She left the house and saw Ammos.
"Hey!" She snapped. "You see the future? Can you get us back to the present, our present? Or have any idea how? Are you a fire bender?"

Khana was a tad bit confused as to how she had teleported back to the others... but she decided to go with it anyway.
"Khana... have you been crying?" Raelynn asked her quietly.
"No!" She snapped, "And so what if I have!? It's none of your business anyway!!"
She turned to see Fuchsia and Petra staring at her wide-eyed.
"What are you looking at??" she snarled... then hesitated and muttered a quick "sorry".
Aeros exchanged a mutual glance of utter amazement with Raelynn. "Did she just...?"
"I think she did. She apologized! How strange.."
"Let's GO-OOO!" Khana declared annoyingly.

((That's what I was thinking xD I was expecting some elderly deaf woman to just be sitting in the other room sipping tea...))
Vaer stood awkwardly twiddling his thumbs, a little ways a way from everyone else. He heard their mumblings, but couldn't turn them into words. He was certainly not paying attention, for he had other matters on his mind. Okay, so ignoring the fact the they had gone back in time less than one day ago, hadn't slept one bit and were standing boldly in perhaps someone else's home... Ammos was definitely mad at him. He couldn't blame him, really. He had disappeared for three years without a trace... but it wasn't his fault. He'd tried to figure his way back, spending hours studying the stray maps he'd found. He just couldn't put it in place. Of course, their reunion had been a little one sided. He'd been so consumed over his worry for Ondryn that he wasn't, and hadn't been, living in the moment. He hadn't even been alone with Ammos since they'd met up again. Vaer was the bad guy, and he couldn't get it out of his mind. Running around in circles, driving him mad.
"So... Is anyone gonna follow them?" Codai pondered, watching the two retreating figures.
"Nah, let them go where they want to go. It's not like we knew them anyway." Fajra muttered.
"Yeah well, what if they're with Kirari? What if they tell her where we are?"
"Kirari isn't even in the same timeline as us right now! Come on Codai! Sometimes I wish you'djust use your head and THINK every once and a while! URGH!!"
The flushed face of Fajra retreating to stand beside a bewilderingly confused looking Vaer.
"U-uhm..." He stuttered.
"You, shut up." she snapped, picking up a dusty fork from the ground. "It doesn't look like anyone's lived here for a while..."
"Either that or they're really lazy cleaners..." Codai put in, trying to be helpful.
"Don't talk to me." she stomped her foot and tramped over to the front door before it suddenly swung open of its own accord. Someone was standing in the doorway.
((Andy... I don't know who's standing in the doorway. It could be the owner of the house or a salesperson. I don't know if you have anything planned so it's up to you.))

Talfryn continued skipping daintilly along the rocky path until, with a jump, it sunk back into a grassy field.
"Hey mister!" He called up to the frustrated looking Troy.
"Huh?" He muttered back.
"What's your favourite kinda rock?"
"My favourite... rock?"
"Yeahhh... I like BIG GREY rocks. My mommy likes the blue shiny ones at Grandma's house but I think they're shells... this one time-"
"Listen kid, why don't you go walk over by your mom?"
"But she's worried. About my sister. You never disturb a worrying person from their worries unless you want them to worry a bunch more. Hey, do you believe in Dinosaurs? I do! I believe in dinosaurs! Daddy says they're just legend but I think he's wrong... HEY! Do you wanna go treasure hunting?? This one time..." Talfryn continued into oblivion, all the while hoping his new best friend would join him in conversation.

The sun was high, the waves were still, the air was numb with seawater, and Izoda still hadn't returned. Where was he? He'd promised to find food hours ago. Quest's stomach rumbled with hunger. She began to whine quietly to herself. Well... if he was going to take this long, he must be stuck in a mangobean tree or something... she hopped to her feet and entered the dense and dark jungle herself.

Nyx awoke with a start.
Covered in sweat from head to toe, the worried twin tiptoed across the cave floor to her sister, who was asleep in a bed of leaves and vines collected from the forest a week earlier.
"Theia?" she whispered nervously, "Theia, wake up."
"Mm?" the teenager mumbled, throwing a hand over her face and scowling. It was covered in scratches and scars. Her whole body was, in fact. Even her pretty face. Nyx hadn't let her out of the cave further than a few feet... she was worried that if Theia caught a glimpse of her mangled reflection it would launch her into the same crazy worrywart from a week ago. The cuts had mostly healed, but it would be a while before she would be able to walk again without wincing.
"Theia! Up!" Nyx hissed, hearing a snap second only to the one that had woken her up in the first place. "I think someone is outside... we have to move."
"But it hurts!"
"Oh come on, it's not that bad. Now get up! Quick!"
"Fine... where are we going?" Theia gave in, sitting up with only a small amount of difficulty and rubbing her eyes.
"Hello?" a strange girls voice echoed through the cave, bouncing off the walls and the twins like a bat's sonar. "I know you're there. I mean you no harm."
"We have to hide!" Theia whispered urgently. The strange girl was standing at the foot of the cave, blocking their only exit.
"Where are we supposed to hide? We have to fight. I can't bend... Theia, block the entrance."
"Oh right..." Theia muscled up enough strength to force a great slab of rock to cover the entrance in an instant.
"There, we did it! She can't get through n-" The sound of scraping rock cut her off as the same slab shifted with ease away from the entrance.
"She's an earth bender!" Theia whispered with fear, her eyes wide in the flickering firelight. Fire. Exactly!
Nyx grabbed her torch and flung it straight at the approaching shadow, illuminating the intruder's face and hair for a fraction of a second. Blonde hair with a touch of blue, bright blue eyes... like oceans. Nyx knew this face. Or at least... she'd seen paintings of it almost identical. Yet the real thing seemed so much more alive. But she couldn't put a name to the face... The surprising part, however, was not her hair but the fact that the fire from the torch evaporated instantly, before it even touched her skin. The flame, now white instead of orange, sat flickering in the palm of the newcomer.
"She's a... firebender too?" Theia gasped, clutching Nyx's hand tight. "How can that be?"
Nyx stood and gawked, ignoring her sister. The intruder's face and features, now illuminated, dropped the shroud of mystery.
"You're the avatar, aren't you?"
"I am, indeed." Zarya smiled, showing her perfect teeth. "Thanks for trying to kill me, I feel welcomed." she laughed, her voice showering the air like fresh rain after a drought.
"Sorry, nothing personal... we've been through a lot." Nyx mumbled, bringing out a homemade leaf cushion and setting it by the fire, beckoning the avatar to sit.
"I can see that..." Zarya said, grin faltering as her gaze fell upon Theia. "Poor girl, what happened to you?"
Theia sat cross legged and shy... "This, oh it's nothing..."
"She was attacked by one of the people who resided here. A man, with a small girl in toll."
Theia's eyes lit up as her shyness melted away momentarily. "The girl, miss avatar! Do you know what happened to her??"
Zarya blinked twice and held up a hand. She then used her earthbending to seal the cave entrance once more for privacy. "Quest... I believe that is the name of the child you're talking about. I only met her once, in passing. She told me her name and asked if I liked Platypus-Bears... Other than that I don't know her. And I don't know what happened to her. I'm sorry. The man who attacked you... that would be her father. I don't know his name."
"Her father..." Theia retreated back into her shell, "So she wasn't being kept prisoner... That's..." but Theia didn't know what exactly that was. Good or bad... who were these people?
"Who are these people?" she heard her sister ask, mirroring her thoughts as usual.
"Kirari and her zombies." Zarya sneered. "She takes people and she... she brainwashes them I guess." The avatar's eyes turned glassy.
"Did you... know someone... one of her zombies?" Nyx wondered cautiously.
"I did... I knew a few actually. But that doesn't matter now... they've disappeared. All of them. My friends too. Do you know where they went?"
"We have no idea. I was following Theia's trail when I found the clearing. Packed with people. A hundred at least. One second they were there, fighting and yelling and lining people up... and then suddenly everyone was gone. In a blink of an eye, they'd disappeared. It's been empty ever since. I found my sister alone in here, bleeding to death." Nyx choked up at these words and fell silent.
"I see..." Zarya said quietly, staring into the fire. The reflection of flames shone bright and mysterious in her ocean-like eyes. Their glassy appearance only remained like this until she spoke again, lifting her eyes suddenly to look at Nyx. "I forgot to ask for your name." she inquired softly, "Mine's Zarya."
"I know your name. Everyone does." the un-scarred twin smiled, "I'm Nyx. This is obviously Theia."
"Nyx... Theia... thanks for granting me company tonight."
"Thanks for giving us what we've been searching for." Theia muttered silently.
"And what's that?" Zarya asked, one eyebrow lifted questioningly.
"We've been looking for you." Said Nyx. "We want to help you win back your freedom."

"FREEDOM!" Ryka yelled, half laughing, half sobbing as she twirled around in dizzy circles on top of the sea cliff they'd just landed on moments ago. "I CAN FINALLY FIX EVERYTHING! HAHAAA!"
"You're mad..." Ondryn mumbled, though she was grinning like a lunatic as well. "Haha, what the heck are we doing here anyway?" she asked loudly, so to be heard over the roaring waves. "I thought we were simply going back in time, not space as well! Where's the forest? The cave?"
Ryka's grin immediately faltered as she took a look at her surroundings for the first time. "Oh dear Roleplaying Gods." she gasped, using their names in vain. "What the hell happened?"
"What? What happened?" Ondryn hurried over to her friend's side, tripping over her dress along the way. "Stupid dress..." she muttered, tearing off the skirt and walking the rest of the way in her poufy pant-like underwear.
"My timepiece..." Ryka muttered, taking out the little bronze object and turning it around fiercely in her palm. "It must have... malfunctioned... I meant only to go back fifteen years. We're back... I'd say, judging by the lack of anything even remotely familiar... a million years or so. This is not good. This is so not good."
"Well..." Ondryn started, panicking, "How do we get back? Are there any people here? What do we do?? Ryka!"
"Shut up! I'm trying to concentrate. Okay, hold onto my arm." The girl with white hair started to fiddle with her time piece and pressed her palm against it once more, squeezing her eyes tight until her whole body shone with golden light. Ondryn held tight and took one last look at the beautiful ocean in front of her. The sun was just setting over the horizon... she knew what was coming. Three... two... one...
The scenery dissolved into oblivion, wiping away the smell of seawater, and she felt her feet take leave from the ground. She shut her eyes tighter, anxiously awaiting solid ground.

Raelynn picked Petra up quickly in her arms, something was off and she just couldn't put her finger on it. The ground below her rumbled in reply, it was ready to attend to her call.
Farja stood with Codai, after their kiss she just didn't feel the same. That one feeling she had tried to deny for the longest time had just bubbled up inside of her and was ready to explode.
