Chapter three: A Shift in the Continuum
((I dunno.... well i know Wynnie is only allowed two hours on the computer a day cuz her mother is being... mother-like... but i have no clue where Sydney is :/))
Troy was amazed by the intricate qualities the parade floats had--it was the most beautiful fair he'd ever seen! Everyone was dressed in similar colours making them look like the leaves on the trees in the fall, and the stands around the city hall looked very fun--he could just tell that he was going to have fun. That is... providing he didn't get caught by Arak or another.

((oh lol, that's ok!!! I was just wondering!!! *but just have fun*!!!!))"Now." Sira's aunt whispered to her as they rounded the corner by troy's building. Sira tapped Arak on the shoulder, and he helped her jump down in the dress, while everyone was still focused on her dad. Then they dashed into the crowd.
"Miss, what are you-."
"Shut it, hurrey, up here!" Sira said, acting like to lovers having a good time as they dashed into the bulding, climbing the stiars. "Arak, i can't stay here." Sira tried to explian. They burst open the door on the top, and Sira dashed to the edge, knowing that she had to see.
Her Aunt was dressed in another orange gown, slightly similairs to hers. Her mother wore this outfit, Sira thought, as her gaze shifted to her father. He almost looked real, in that gold and red robe, gold in his hair. But she knew who he really was. She could see it in those black eyes of his. Just barly.
"Sira." Arak said, breaking her last moments. Sira turned to look at her, and he almost gasped in her beauty. Where did he know her? He felt a pain of regret every time he saw her face. Why?
"What?" She asked, bringing him back also.
he nodded his head toward the person who was also starring at them.
"Troy." Sira said, meeting his eyes.
"Uhm..." Troy said slowly, "Hello there Sira!" He faked happiness, "It's so good to see you... uh... enjoying the festival?"
"You haven't left yet? I figured you'd be out of jail, but not out of the city" She glanced over toward the festivle. "Especially when theres a big festival going on?""Hey! The gaurds said they found you!" Arak said, coming up behind Sira. Sira masked impatients.
"Yes Arak." She said with a strainted tone.
"What's with him?" Troy said, eyes Arak.
"Not your buisness anymore, Troy." Sira said glarring again, the charcole on her eyes making it even more jarring then it normally is. "Arak and I are going to go with you to Zarya. But if you don't get your head right, i'm not letting you get to her." Sira said, wanting to escape before her father realized she was gone.
Troy let out a laugh, and had to literally force himself to stop before he could answer, "Fine. Deal."
"What's so funny?" Arak shot at him.
"n-nothing." Truthfully he just thought that the idea of himself falling back into that black pit he had been with Zarya seemed preposterous. "Shall we go then? Zarya will be meeting us on a hill, with Aeros, and Raelynn. And..." he wasn't sure if he should say the last name or not, but Sira guessed it.
"And Archer." She stated, looking toward her feet.
"Exactly." Troy said, "Are we ready then?"
"What's so funny?" Arak shot at him.

"Exactly." Troy said, "Are we ready then?"
Sira looked at her dress, and sighed. There was no time for her to change. She was going to have to go like this. Wait.. she smiled to herself. She lifted the bottom of the dress up to her knees, and ripped the fluffy thing out from underneeth it, letting it ripple around her legs, giving her more room. "Yeah, were ready." Sira said, wondering just what he was planning.
"Damn..." Troy said looking out the window, "And I was hoping to get to visit the festival... no matter!" he said suddenly spinning around. "Lead the way out of here my lady." he said, mocking the fact that Sira was in a dress, "And then I'll lead you to the hill top."
"Shut it or ill kill you before you can appolozige to her." She said, climbing on the side of the building, scalling it to the ground. She led them on back allies away from the city, till they were were the festival wasn't. It was almost desereted.
((Raelynn is making breakfast for Petra and herself, Zarya is on the roof... with Archer? and Fajra is with Codai and Vaer, but i dunno where that is.))
"Alright then." troy smiled, "let's go..." he began to lead Sira and Arak through the rest of the town.
"Alright then." troy smiled, "let's go..." he began to lead Sira and Arak through the rest of the town.
((ohh thank you.))Raelynn began cooking a simple oatmeal-like breakfast, she walked over and grabbed a few fruits, sprinkling in each of their favorites. She carried the three bowls into the bedroom on a tray. She smiled at Aeros and Petra. "Who's hungry?" She sat down on the bed and tied Petra's bib around her neck.
Zarya sat meditating, trying her hardest to ignore Archer.
Fajra looked over to Codai and smiled lightly, she quickly shied away when she saw him looking back. Fajra fiddled with the bottom of her dress and blushed. What happened to you? You used to not care what anyone thought and now all you can do is worry about what Codai thinks..
Nyx stepped a little too hard on a fallen branch, emitting an echoing crack throughout the darkening forest. Theia shuddered at the vibe left in the leaves, scattering exotic birds of all colours from their nests. She squeezed her eyes tight in frustration, and turned back to face her sister angrily.
"Shhh!" Theia whispered the hiss, "You want them to find us?!" She meant the 'demons'.
Nyx hung her head in part sorrow and annoyance. Her sister was insane... why was she following her anyway?
"Because where else could you go?" Theia spat bitterly, she could read her little sister like a book. Only, so could Nyx.
"I'm hardly your younger sister... you're older than me by mere minutes. You can't TREAT me like I have no mind of my own! I'm done with listening to you Theia! You're crazy." Nyx growled, for the first time standing up to her twin.
"Yes? Where will you go? I mean it Nyx. They won't let us back there, not after what they thing we did to-" Theia was cut off.
"SHUT UP!" Theia watched her sister's fingers clench into tight fists at her sides, "Don't you DARE say WE. I did NOTHING! What happened to mom was YOUR fault! I came with you in the first place because we've always stuck together- because we're inseperable, but that isn't the case anymore. I know the truth." Nyx's anger was tracking back to panick, Theia could see it in her eyes and hear in in her voice.
"Nyx..." Theia reached out a comforting hand, "You know me... you know I would never-"
"Don't TOUCH ME!" Nyx screamed, taking steps back so quickly, she tripped and fell backwards over broken branch she'd stepped on earlier. She knelt there for a bit, just staring at the leaves.
Theia didn't know what to say, she always had the right thing to say but now she was speachless. "Nyx..."
"Shut up." Nyx's eyes were starting to brim with tears. "You're wrong... you're so wrong. I don't know you... I have no idea who you are anymore. Wha-" her voice broke, and she choked back a sob, "What happened to you Theia? We were only five... and then the lies started. all this talk about demons, and the delusions, I just thought you were making it all up for attention-"
"Stop talking Nyx." Theia interrupted, her face a mask of sadness, "The demons... they're real, and they're looking for me- I thought you believed me, I thought you and Mom believed me."
"Mom?! YES for Pete's sake, she BELIEVED you! And then you KILLED her!" Nyx broke down into violent sobs, she couldn't help herself.
Theia did nothing to stop her. She just stood against one of the many trees, and waited for her sister's crying to cease.
It took a while, but eventually they came to a halt. Nyx straightened her face and gazed up at Theia with nothing but hatred and confusion, "Why did you do it Theia... I thought you would've told me by now."
"I didn't-"
"Don't lie to me!"
"I... was protecting you."
"You should've killed me instead."
"I would never-"
"I'm leaving Theia. And I'm not coming back. Don't follow." Nyx tried to stand, but gasped as her legs failed her, and she fell back to the ground.
Theia took a step forward, slinging her backpack from her shoulder, and kneeling down to unzip it.
"I don't need your help." Nyx shot, trying to stand, but it was obvious she was only making it worse.
"Yes you do..." Theia whispered, without looking her in the eyes, "Please... let me help." she spilled the bag's contents across the forest carpet, sorting through them and finding some gauze and a brown bottle of medicine. She took some gauze and brought it close to the bruising spot on Nyx's ankle.
Nyx shifted her position so that their arms were not touching, but she didn't resist the help.
Theia continued her work, until the ankle was mended and bandaged. "Try not to put too much pressure on it. Take it easy."
"I'm not coming with you Theia. I will never forgive you for what you've done." Nyx whispered, staring intently into the identical blue eyes of her twin.
"I know. I just hope you will understand one day, and maybe then you can forgive me."
"Don't count on it." Nyx looked away, getting to her feet. She turned to leave in the direction they'd came.
Theia took something from around her neck, a last minute thought. "Nyx- take this. Whistle if you need me. Wherever I am, and wherever you are I will come to you aid." She handed Nyx her purple whistle. Her sister took it, but said nothing. Both siblings bore a face like a mask, no clear emotion could be traced.
Nyx turned to leave again, and started to walk.
"Nyx!" Theia's eyes were starting to brim with worry- what would her sister do without her? What of the demons mistook Nyx for herself? What would she...?
Theia noticed how Nyx had stopped. Her short cropped hair whipping slightly in the tiny wind there was, surrounded by mossy trees and cut into a patch of moonlight, her eyes slit into an expectant glare, her feet all-too ready to turn around and leave the second she looked away. It was a magical sight to be completely honest... something she wouldn't soon forget, maybe the last time she might ever see her sister again. It was like looking into a mirror and seeing a part of herself she's never known. There was more to Nyx than met the eye... she could be brave. She was strong. Stronger than Theia, she just didn't know it yet.
"What? Spit it out." Nyx yelled from afar.
Theia blinked, smiling a sad little smile. "It's just... I really love you. Stay safe."
Nyx rolled her eyes, then turned on her heel, quickening her pace through the dimly lit forest. She yelled over her shoulder, "Don't lie to me Nyx! I can read you like a book."
"Not as well as you think..." Theia thought, and slid down the smoothish bark of the one willowy tree she'd been leaning against. She watch her sister disappear, then she herself turned to leave, in the opposite direction. The demons were getting closer... she could feel it in her bones.
A piercing scream entered through Ondryn's calm evening, just as she was watching the sun set majestically. The fiery ball of warmth and all source of known happiness to her, sunk like a ship, hovering for only a few seconds above the mountainous horizon, then disappeared from view completely, leaving a trail of tiny stars painted on the dark blue canvas in the sky, twinkling their way across the whole world. Ondryn often sat out here, on the edge of Ryka's cliff. Away from all civilization, up here she could dangled her feet far above the canopy of trees from the huge green forest, she could even see farther out, a vast ocean, that loved to sparkle in the last hours of the spinning day. Up here the world was at her feet, and she was the most important of it all. She could paint the world with the tip of her finger- but that evening her spiritual sanction was slightly disrupted by the piercing sound of Ryka's cry.
"Ryka?!" Ondryn leaped to her feet, racing over the mismatched rocks and boulders, flying over large potholes in the cliff, until she reached the wide entrance of their lovely cavern, the same one they'd been living in since they had separated from the rest of the group.
"RYKA!" She called again, turning the corner faster than humanly possible, she wasn't out of breath or anything, rather breathing heavily from simple panick once she reached her friend. It took Ondryn a minute to analyse Ryka's expression, no source or even a hint of pain or shock, there were no intruders... none that Ondryn could see. Ryka looked... happy. Very happy in fact, happier than she'd ever seen the girl.
"No need to shout Tondria, love!" Ryka exclamimed happily, shouting even louder than Ondryn herself had.
Ryka's face was a sweaty mess, more than usual, her hair was almost to the point of grossing Ondryn out... she'd always ask why Ryka never went down to the stream to take a bath, but Ryka had always responded the same thing ('It's for personal reasons').
"Ryka...?" Ondryn was more confused now as to the glee on the sweaty fool's face more than her hair. "What's going on?"
"I'll SHOW you what's going on is what!!" She sung, coming over, and dragging Ondryn over to the stone table, where the little bronze object Ryka had been working on all these years sat in its usual spot.
"I... I don't understand." Ondryn tried to comprehend the matter.
"I fixed it!" Ryka literally jumped for joy, "I FIXED IT!! I FIXED IT!! YAYYY!!!!!"
Ondryn was entirely bemused, Ryka usually never showed ANY sign of emotion, much less acting like a crazy monkey six year old just given a lifetime supply of banana pop tarts.
"o_O" said Ondryn.
":DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD" exclaimed Ryka once more, and she did a little dance, before composing her self again once more.
"So... what do we do now?" Ondryn sat down, not because she was tired or anything, more for just the reason of seeing Ryka's eyes more comfortably... the girl was incredibly short. Ryka sat down as well, finally getting serious. She looked Ondryn in the eyes and smiled big again.
"Tondria... this is my Thymzar."
"I know, the machine that helps you control your timebending?"
"Yes. Exactly, so do you understand what this means? I can finally go back. I can finally go back and see my family again."
"That is great!" Ondryn smiled, finally she could go on the adventure she'd always been craving for. she could finally leave this horrible cage of a rock... "When do we leave?" She asked excitedly.
"We... aren't leaving... Tondria, I am." Ryka wasn't smiling anymore, and neither was Ondryn.
"But... we're friends." she was so confused.
"Of course we're friends... but they're my family. And you have a family as well... Vaer is still waiting for you, you need to protect your brother... and I need to go back to my parents. So they know I'm okay. You understand, right?"
Ondryn grew angry, "No. No I don't understand. I lost my memory! I don't remember Vaer, I know I like you a lot more than him! He doesn't need me, he has Ammos, and that bison- Alaesia. I don't need him, I don't need any of them, I want you! Ryka please, you're the only thing i know!"
Ryka sighed, and took hold of Ondryn's hand. "I'll think about it." she promised, "But only if you promise to think about going back with Vaer and them. You never know, you might remember everything one day and realize how important your brother is to you."
Ondryn took a minute to doubt it, then said just as expressionless, "I'll think about it."
The sun was gone, and the stars were lit. That night seemed endless.
Codai kept sneaking peeks at Fajra. He couldn't help it, she was just SO darn pretty! And awesome, like SUPER awesome, awesomeness... sigh he thought miserably, he wished he woud just get up the guts to ask her if she wanted to go for a walk or something... Like, they'd been practically living together for months, with Vaer of course... but still! He sighed again, this time for real, he sneaked another peak at Fajra and noticed that this time she seemed to be doing exactly the same thing. He smiled, and she blushed, seemingly embarrassed he'd caught her glance. Suddenly he had an idea, "Hey," He said, grabbing two sticks from beside the fire, "Wanna write a song?" He starting a-tap-tap-tapping one of the sticks on a chunk of wood to get the rhythm started, and handed the other stick to her, a big grin on his face. Ah music... how lovely it was.
"Shhh!" Theia whispered the hiss, "You want them to find us?!" She meant the 'demons'.
Nyx hung her head in part sorrow and annoyance. Her sister was insane... why was she following her anyway?

He starting a-tap-tap-tapping one of the sticks on a chunk of wood to get the rhythm started, and handed the other stick to her, a big grin on his face. Ah music... how lovely it was.
Vaer managed to smile as he watched the other two making music from nothing... Codai could be such a child sometimes. But it was okay, he liked that. He decided to give the others some space, and got up from the log bench, and walked away from the fire, surveying their surroundings. They were somewhere in the earth kingdom, along the outskirts... this entire area was abandoned and quite tropical. This way, Pater's guards would have a really difficult time finding them way out here. They had built a little makeshift hut along the beach, it was over near the fire... it had burned down once, not too long ago. Codai haen't been too smart, and built the fire right outside the front door. So they could be 'warmer'. Anyway, it caught fire, and semi-burned down. Vaer and Fajra had ended up rebuilding it and the fire pit on their own, while Codai caught fish- one helpful thing he could do.
So now there they were... lost connection with all the others, and Vaer wasn't sure he'd ever see Ondryn, or Ammos again. Last time he'd seen his sister she'd been different... delusional. She had told him there was another person inside her head... that her name was 'Tandia' and she was trying to gain control over her body, to push her into the back of her own mind. She'd also suffered from intense memory loss- something none of them had any idea what had caused it... the sister he used to know and love was now crazy, and most likely millions of miles away. As for Ammos... he had no idea. Just that he missed him, and it hurt more than anything he could have possibly imagined...
Vaer looked out into the darkness, clouds were starting to roll in, with thundery cracks, eliminating the beautiful stars. He frowned, and kicked some sand into the growing waves, drifting onto the shore. If a storm was on its way, a tide would be coming as well. He ought to warn the others.
Racing back to the fire, he waved his arms to get their attention. The two musicians had been laughing and signing to the beat of their makeshift drums, but stopped abruptly when Vaer announced the coming storm. It started to rain, the drops becoming increasingly heavy every second. They hadn't noticed the warning signs in their fun. Everyone cut the crap and started running in every direction, grabbing the fish Codai had caught earlier in the day, and Fajra and Vaer started raising the tarp over their hut. Codai rolled in the log benches, so that the tide wouldn't take them away, he grabbed the kettle and mugs, and the three of them raced back into the hut, slamming the door behind them.
As soon as the door was shut the sound of the storm faded to mere background noise.
Fajra laughed, her hair sticking to her face everywhere from the rain. She sneezed, and laughed again, searching beside her for Codai, who's face was almost expressionless for no apparent reason.
Vaer chuckled, "You'd almost think he was dead half the time..."
Fajra puzzled at Codai's new facade, "Codai, are you okay?"
Codai blinked and shook his head.
"You're... not okay?" Fajra tried.
"No... I'm perfect." Codai smiled, wrapping his arms around Fajra's waist and kissing her full on the mouth.
Vaer's jaw dropped about eleven inches, and he decided to leave the room, kicking off his shoes by the door, he ran out, and into his own room as quickly as his socked feet would carry him.

"Daddy...?"
"Eughh..."
"Daaaaddyyyyy... sleepy time's over. You have to wake up now."
"Nnnggh."
"Daddy?" Quest sighed, and climbed up top her daddy's stomach, peeling his eyes open with her finger and thumb. "Eye up? Please daddy."
Her father just swatted her hand away like an annoying insect. Quest sighed, "This is going to be more difficult than anticipated..."
She trotted off behind a bush, and came back holding a rather long stick in her hands. "FATHER WAKE UP OR I'LL CUT YOU WITH THIS STICK!"
Her father bolted from his seeping position, and grabbed the stick from her arms. She pouted, and looked up at him with sad eyes until he picked her up as well, throwing away the stick back into the bushes. Izoda looked at his daughter and laughed, "You have quite an interesting vocabulary my dear."
"I learned from you. Mommy doesn't like talking to me." Quest squirmed out of his arms and landed expertly on the ground.
Izoda frowned and followed his daughter, packing up last night's camp. "It's not that she doesn't like talking to you. You know that silly. It isn't her fault she can't speak."
"Well she should try." Quest said stubbornly, handing her father his soup spoon.
"She has sweatheart, but the doctor said she's not gonna be able to speak anymore. When she got sick they had to take out her voice box in order to keep the cancer from spreading."
"I know daddy. I still wish." Quest put her arms up in the air, so her father could pick her up once more. This time he lifted her up onto his shoulders to see the world, and they started walking again.
Immediately after deciding to depart, Izoda's eyes glazed over; a message from Kirari.
'Don't slow down, keep going. Capture the twins. Bring them to me.'
'But Kirari, Quest needed rest. She couldn't go any further. We had to stop for a few hours.'
'No exceptions. Just get the job done Izoda.'
'I'll try-'
'Trying isn't going to cut it.'
'But I-'
'Obey me...'
'... yes Kirari. Yes master.'
"Hey daddy, guess what?" Quest chirped up happily, unaware of the mental conversation going on inside her father's head.
"No talking." Izoda said mutinously, "That's an order."
"Hmph." Quest sulked, but listened anyway. She hated it when her father got in his 'robot mood'.

Aeros who had just returned to the bedroom through the window after his talk with Khana looked to Raelynn worriedly. "We... we need to go for a walk."
"Yay!" Petra said excitedly as her mother set her food down in front of her.
"O...kay?" Raelynn said looking at Aeros. "Why?"
He was worried about how she would take it... but she would understand wouldn't she? it was his sister ... "We need to go see... Khana."
Raelynn looked toward her a little shocked. "What? Where is she?"
"She's... waiting outside." Aeros said.
"Well by all means--"
"She wants you too. And Petra... and Archer--and Zarya." Aeros explained.
Raelynn looked to Aeros, then to Petra, "Do you...?"
"Think it's safe?" Aeros asked, "No... i don't. That's why we'll need to be on our feet."
Raelynn looked to Petra once more, then said--
Claire laughed as Dune ran into the room, hours after breakfast with Fuchsia chasing him at full speed.
"Mom!" Fuchsia said suddenly.
"What is it hon?" Claire asked as she finished drying the bowls from supper. "What's wrong?"
Fuchsia's face was very worried. Dune stopped running and knelt down by her. "What...'s wrong?" he asked the same question Claire had.
"We should go." Fuchsia said after a long moment.
"Go? Where?" Claire asked.
"Away from here..." Fuchsia said, closing her eyes, "We should... go to the... place in my head."
Claire and Dune shot each other furtive glances then smiled, "Where is this place?" Dune asked.
"Where Troy is."
Suddenly the two of them were shocked, "Wh--who is Troy?" Claire asked moving closer.
"Your friend." Fuchsia said. "We have to go fast! We have to go!" her eyes shot open, she was very scared.
"Wh...what do we do?" Claire asked Dune, she had no clue what to make of this! Fuchsia had never met Troy. Not once.
Shana and Zestos fell into the sand after hours of walking, "We need to come up with a game plan." Zestos said as he flopped back into the sand, "We won't find her--ever..."
"Well we'll find someone... someone we know." Shana smiled at Zestos.
"You're so--" Zestos stopped. There was a loud rusting in the bushes and trees next to the sand on their left. he stood quickly and dragged Shana toward them and jumped inside one of the bushes, just as someone burst from them a few feet over.
"Shana!" the person called--it was a male. "I know your here!"
Shana poked her head around the bush and smiled broadly as she ran out and threw herself into Ammos's arms.
"Shana!" Zestos hissed.
Ammos was shocked, but he smiled as he hugged her back. he barely knew Shana, but just finding someone who might know something made him beyond happy.
Zestos slowly pulled himself from the bushes and he waved a little.
"Your hair is so long!" Shana smiled as she pulled away from him, "How are you?"
"I'm great!" Ammos smiled, "How are you two? How'd you... you know..."
"Get away?" Shana asked. She looked to Zestos and chuckled, "We stole a boat."
"You stole a boat?" Ammos laughed, "From Pater?"
She nodded, "Where are you headed?"
"I was looking for someone i knew... and i had a vision that you two would be here."
"Really?" Zestos asked. "You were looking for us."
"Well..."
"He was looking for Vaer." Shana said smiling.
"Wha--noo... i mean... well..." Ammos stuttered.
"He was." Zestos confirmed. "Sorry to disappoint you... but we haven't seen anyone we know other than you for ever."
Ammos sighed, "Fine... I'll try again." he flopped into the sand and put his hands to the ground.
"What's he doing?" Zestos asked.
"SHHH!" Shana hissed, "He's doing something!"
Zestos laughed and then the two of them watched as Ammos did... nothing... and then slowly stood up.
"We... we need to go this way..." he said as he began to lead them through the sand at a quick pace.
Blue woke up and smiled.
Green looked over his shoulder and fell into the dirt. Claire was in need of death. Pater wanted her dead... and he couldn't return until he did it- but could he bring himself to do it?
Troy, Sira and Arak emerged from the city after a few good solid minutes of walking and then Troy whistled loudly.
"Why?" Arak asked.
Troy did not answer, but soon a couple ostrich-horses arrived and stopped in front of him.
"The two of you will have to share." He said, "If i had known you'd be coming along..." Troy said slowly.
"it's fine." Arak said, helping Sira onto her horse.
Troy hopped up at the same time as Arak.
"Where are we going?" Sira asked.
"To my boat. We need to get to the earth kingdom."
Voril and Kerai heard someone coming so they hid.
Cyri, Ju Di, Kori and Pater quickly exited the now emerged submarine and the girls followed Pater.
"Where are we?" Ju Di asked.
"We're following Pater." Kori said.
"I know!" Ju Di snapped.
"Shut up!" Cyri growled.
"Silence! All of you!" Pater roared, "Listen up.... I have a plan."

Khana waited, bored as ever, for Aeros to return with Raelynn, Petra, Archer, and Zarya. He was sure taking his time... Kirari would not be pleased. She busied herself by staring at a rock and waiting for it to move.
... God, it was even slower than Aeros.
... God, it was even slower than Aeros.
lol, Asami was sad because she spent 11 hrs on her english this weekend and didn't get on. Archer rolled his eyes, and sat down next to Zarya. "I'm no good at this stuff like Sira is." he said, talking about Sira for almost the first time since she left. "But we have a plan now Zarya, and you in it, and i can't stand letting you sit there and kill yourself."
Sira and Arak did something.
Rhia was following Kirari's orders and leading her son, Talfryn and herself to locate three individuals and bring them safely back to camp. Normally she would have left Talfryn behind so as not to endanger him, but since Izoda had left her, taking Quest, she didn't really have much of a choice.
Kirari was evil. That much she knew.
Rhia knew that Kirari could manipulate the mind... she was aware she and her family were being controlled, their thoughts and actions were half the time, not their own. She could also tell though, that her children were safe. In their minds anyway... She didn't trust them alone with that wretched woman for even a second. That's the reason she wasn't freaking out too much about taking Talryn along.
They came to rickety bridge. Rhia motioned for Talfryn to come closer and hold her hand. he did as he was told, and came closer. The boy was slightly sick... it was only a little cold, but a mother did have her worries.
Together they crossed the bridge easily, all the while Rhia kept her son close, not letting him skip out of sight for a minute.
That's one thing rhia could do well. See. She could see very far away, very close, and very clearly. She had a hawk's eye, he husband used to tell her. And it was true.
'Codai. Fajra. Vaer. Do not disappoint me Rhia, or you'll have your son's blood on your own hands.
Kirari... was a bitch.

Troy, Sira, and Archer all made it safe and sound to Troy's boat.
"Lucky it's not a two person boat eh?" Troy said to Arak, to whom he still did not like very much.
Sira, said nothing and hopped into the boat.
Troy and Arak did the same, leaving their ostrich-horses. Troy sat in the back, and there was two empty seats between him and Sira, and Archer sat in the front.
And then they were off once more.

Khana was confused because her post seemed to have been mysteriously edited :P 'oh well... she thought, I guess I'll keep waiting here...
Dune puzzled over the strangeness of his daughter. She looked like she meant what she was talking about.
"One sec hun." He said to Fuchsia, and pulled Claire aside. "Did you happen to mention Troy to her at all? How does she know him? And what do you think she's talking about? It makes no sense to me."
Nyx kept on walking, without taking a second's glance behind her. It had been hours since she and Theia had separated, and the sun would be rising soon. She didn't really know where she was going, just that she had to get out of the forest and into open space as soon as she could... the trees were seriously creeping her out. Their silhouettes swayed in the sinking moonlight, casting long wiggling shadows that resembled claws and daggers, monsters and... demons.
Nyx shivered, pulling her thin sweater tightly around her arms. It wasn't enough to block out the cold- or the fear. She kept walking, knowing she couldn't stop until daylight.
Theia was running....
Panting hard, yet still able to breathe, she pushed forward, head down she ran as fast as her feet would carry her. It was pretty fast.
They were chasing her... getting closer.
She had to outrun them. She was stronger, she could get away.
No you're not. a little thought entered her mind and caused her to halt.
"Who are you?" Theia whispered out loud. No one answered at first... then, in a sharp tone she heard it.
Stop running and fight.
Theia found she couldn't move anyway, she turn around and saw something that made her eyes grow wide and her heart stop beating. Her throat filled with air-
Nyx jerked up her head as she heard the distantly faint sound of what might have been a piercing shriek.
It was too far away to tell, but she assumed some wild animal must be chasing her.
So she started running.

((lol, you mean Arak.))Arak glared at Troy, the same as Sira. "How do we know each other again?" Arak said, not lifting his glare.
Sira was about to say something, but Troy got to her first.
((oh sorry! it didn't say this was new.... :/))
"We know each other because you tried to kill me along with all of my friends and my baby air bison."
"Air bisons are extinct." Arak said, "And if i tried to kill you, then you must have been a very bad person."
"Ha!" Troy said, "Sira, don't you have something to tell him?"
Sira glared at Troy for a long moment and then shook her head. "no."

((ya! it happens to me all the time!!!))Troy raised his eyebrows. "Oh." he said.
"Yes." Sira said, ignoring Arak's indifferincing ((i learned about 'in's' finally. ugh. i hate them)) look. She didn't know much about what had happened to Arak, but in her experiance it seemed that it was best to let it come back on it's own. "That doesn't matter anymore Arak. Ignore Troy, he is brainwashed or something." Sira's hands went to her hair, seeing she had some time. She started pulling our several pins.
She put the pins in her lap, as she pulled out the final one, her curley hair fell down around her shoulders and she sighed, the tightness and pulling gone.
((Kay... this role play is messed up. It didn't tell me these were new AGAIN.

Troy laughed out loud a little, but ignored Sira's comment. He wasn't brainwashed. All that happened was his mind was opened to the truth. Kirari was, is and always will be the only one in the right. He would follow her anywhere.
"We're here guys." Troy said.
"I don't see anything." Sira said.
"Not... here." Troy sighed, "We'll be there in half an hour. You can see the land ahead."

Claire shook her head quickly, "no... no i've never talked about any of them. I told you I was trying to keep our past lives a secret to her. She's..."
"We should go where she says." Dune said.
"What--why?" Claire asked.
"Living here isn't going to help her out any. It was fun while it lasted Claire, but think about it, Fuchsia is an airbender right?"
"Well she's never shown any signs-"
"She must be." Dune said, "But she needs to carry out the legend--she needs to find a mate!"
"She's two!" Claire said loudly.
"Claire... it'll be fun!"
******
Two hours later, the three of them were walking through the woods. Well... Fuchsia was skipping joyously as Dune carried her things.
"Where are we going hon?" Claire asked.
"To the hill."
"Do... you know where that is?" Claire asked.
"Yes." Fuchsia laughed, "Of course i do--silly mommy!"
Fuchsia ran ahead and around a tree so Dune jogged after her to make sure she wasn't going to get into any trouble.
Claire smiled at the two of them running and then suddenly spun around very quickly, dropping her frying pan. She could have sworn there was someone following her.
She turned back around and screamed, Dune was standing right up to her with a frying pan in his hand.
"You ok?" He asked.
She didn't answer at first and then just nodded. "Yeah.. I'm fine." She said.
"You should see this." He took her hand and pulled her to where he had gone before.
There was a large clearing in the woods filled with tall ferns and flowers, but the most notable thing in the clearing was the large wooden house.
Claire laughed out loud when she saw it and then smiled greatly. "This is my house!"
Shana and Zestos followed at a quick pace behind Ammos who was running the way they had just come without any sign of slowing down.
"Ammos!" Shana called, "Why are you in such a hurry?!"
Ammos looked over his shoulder and laughed, "We need to hurry or we'll miss it!"
"Miss what?" Shana asked loudly.
"The show!"
"What show?" Zestos asked Shana.
She smiled, "I dunno!"
Blue headed out of his house and into the cold weather to examine his troops. They were ready for war whenever he decided it was time.
Green stood behind a tree. He had just followed Claire, and she had almost seen him. He had never, ever been so careless in one day before. He had almost been sighted twice now. He was trained in the arts of sneaking, the arts of being unseen... he was such a moron. What would he tell Pater if his mission failed because he was seen?
Voril and Kerai continued to hide in the bush as they heard the person come. They looked ahead and noticed that she had long lilac coloured hair.
Cyri looked inquisitively up at Pater, "Plan?"
"You'll see lovely." he smiled, "You'll see."

"Then why did you say were here?" Sira said, not hiding her annoyance. She really felt like stabbing Troy with one of these pins. He was totally brain washed. How had Jared brocken Archer of that? "Tell me about Kiera." She said.
((OH SNAP! :D I totally forgot Jared did that :P hahaaaa))
"She's wonderful." Troy said. "She has so many plans for the world and I'm pretty sure that there's no way I'm ever changing my ideals back... you'll see. Once she talks to you... you'll see."
"She's wonderful." Troy said. "She has so many plans for the world and I'm pretty sure that there's no way I'm ever changing my ideals back... you'll see. Once she talks to you... you'll see."
((hahahahaha!!!! ik, i barley remeber chapture 1))"She's a devil." Sira muttered, making Arak almost laugh. "Once she talks to me, ill happily kill her." Sira said.
"Kill her?!" Arak said, looking at her, he couldn't see the beautiful girl in front of him killing someone.
"Yes Arak, i am a pirate. Or was at least." Sira said, trying hard not to think of Archer, which would only cloud her mind now.
Troy laughed at Sira's face, and he knew she was missing Archer. What else would bring such intense longing to her eyes? Nothing...
The three of them sat in a very deep silence for a long time as they rowed. No one spoke until they could clearly see the sandy sea floor through the crystal clear, shimmering water. It was Arak who spoke.
"So who is this.. Kira? Kirara?"
"Kirari." Troy corrected. "Kirari is the most amazing and talented person in the world. Also a tad rude and selfish."
Troy wanted to punch himself for being so awful to his master... he wanted to stick his hands in a burning fire and just torture himself.
Soon they were walking away from the boat, onto the shore and walking with ease through the sand.
Sira looked like she wanted to speak really quite badly, but settled on not speaking. And then, just when she looked like she really was going to speak a boy with rather shaggy blue hair pushed past Troy and Sira, Arak being on the other side.
"Excuse me, coming through!" he said quickly.
"Ammos! Ammos wait up!" A female voice called from behind them.
Troy slowly spun around to come face to face with his sister, Shana... he could always tell her they were related... but it was just so much funnier watching her feel so awkward.
"T-Troy?" She studdered coming to a halt, her long black hair covering her face. "Sira! Random guy!"
"My name is Arak." Arak said.
"Cool--" shana said in passing, "Ammos stop!"
Ammos, the blue haired boy ahead slowed down and turned around.
The others walked to catch up with him.
"We have to hurry!" Ammos said, "We're going to miss--"
"No we aren't." Troy said. "They won't do it without us. Don't worry."
"Miss what?" Shana asked. "Where are we going?"
"They're not going to tell us." Zestos, who had hurried up behind Shana, said.
"Course i won't." Troy said smiling. "It's a surprise.
((sooo i just wanted Shana, Zestos, and Ammos back in the story somehow--like not alone :P so i'm sorry i added htem... they're still on their way to the hill though :P))

((shoot cant remeber who shana and Ammos are!!!))"Shana?" Sira said.
"Surprise?" Arak said, making her realise what Troy had said.
"Troy, what surprise?" Sira growled.
((Ammos... uhmmm kinda can see the future, was with Sira... hardly ever.... Shana knows her, but also... hardly does... haha, just some random people :P))
"you'll see." Troy said laughing, "that's the point of a surprise."
"you'll see." Troy said laughing, "that's the point of a surprise."
((ok lol! THATS why i don't really remeber them... i think...))"Yeah and i have a surprise for you too-." Arak put a hand on her shoulder.
"Maybe you shouldn't.." he said, Sira glared daggers at him, and he jerked his eyes over to Ammos and Shana.
"You wanna die Arak?" Sira said, not admitting to listening to him.
"No." he said, looking at her weird.
"Then shut it." He looked at her, like trying to figure out a puzzle, then shrugged.
"For some reason i get the feeling that i know you."
"Yep."
"What?"
"Troy. If you hurt-."
"The surprise isn't going to hurt Sira, jeez."
Troy, still laughing quite a lot, lead Sira, Arak, Ammos, Shana, and Zestos into some trees. "It's about an hours walk from here." He said smiling. "Are you all ok with the walk?"
No one really complained, but as Troy walked on ahead again, Shana skipped toward Sira, "What's his problem? He seems... off."
No one really complained, but as Troy walked on ahead again, Shana skipped toward Sira, "What's his problem? He seems... off."
Sira's lips tightened. "He is." she said, what was she supossed to tell the girl? She remebered being 17, she was just assaigned to kill the Avatar at that age. Look where that got her. Things were good that first year, it was after that that things started going downhill. She still regreated killing Azula, there just should have been another way. The same way she regreated a lot of things. She hoped that Shana didn't have the sins on her that she did when she was that old.
Something cold clancked against her neck. Her head peice had falled down over her head to her neck, like a necklace, and fell down the deep neckline of the shirt. She muttered a curse, but didn't have anywhere else to put it. For some reason it just didn't feel right throwing it away, plus if anyone was traking them, they defidently would know they came this way. Sira almost smiled at that. She was still sharp about the tracking.
"Well... do you know what's wrong with him?" Shana asked the quiet Sira, "Where is Zarya?" this was her chance... so close to FINALLY finding Zarya so she could appologize... after so much searching... Troy just... appeared! And that meant that Zarya couldn't be too far off... right?
Dune shrugged, and followed Fuchsia.
"Your house?" He asked Claire, raising an eyebrow.
Khana still sat.
Izoda wiped his hands on his pants. Removing the stains of blood and dirt. He turned to his daughter. "Go find daddy some water. I'm parched."
Quest stifled a frightened sob. She tore her eyes away from the girl's body, and followed her daddy's orders.
Izoda watched his daughter run off. She'd better come back...
He got to his knees and lifted the girl up from the ground. He then set her gently on the tarp he'd layed out only moments before.
He set her down, a picked up a damp sponge from the bag beside him. He put it to her forehead, trying to keep the girl's temperature down.
"AHHH!!" The screamed penetrated through the silent forest, alerting both father and daughter.
"Daddy?" Quest perked up, eyes wide and alert, "Is that the girl we're supposed to bring to Kirari?"
"I'm not sure Quest. Keep quiet." Izoda whispered, speeding up his step.
Soon enough they reached the spot. Izoda let Quest slide off his back. She started crying at the mangled bloody mess in front of them.
"Go sit down." He told her, and rushed over to the girl's aid. She had dark brown hair, her eyes were closed. She was unconscious. Though he still knew who she was. "Theia..." he whispered with a smirk. "Nice to meet you." Her arms and legs were covered in long deep cuts- almost like claw marks. The blood was seeping out at a alarming rate. He didn't know what had happened to her, but he pulled out his first aid kit and got to work.
"Daddy.." Quest was back with the water. "Is she gonna be okay?"
He took the water gently from her. Taking a very long sip, than muttered, "Yeah love. She'll be fine."

Sira didn't know what to tell this girl. That Troy had finally lost it. "I haven't seen Zarya in a awhile, but i know we will soon, just... not in the way you are thinking." Sira said in a whisper, so Troy couldn't hear. He seemed too excited to notice anyway. "But we will see Keira first is my guess, and by then, we-." she indicated to her and Arak, "-will be making sure that nothing will get too close to Zarya then. Troy will have to make his desition too, because in his mind state he cannot get to close..." she trailed off for a second. "to Zarya, in this mind state..."
Shana nodded, it made sense, there was nothing in Sira's statement that seemd off.
"So...." Shana said a little louder so everyone could hear, "Where are we going?"
"It's a surprise little one." Troy said simply. "Calm your little head."
Shana scowled to the back of Troy's head and continued following him.
Claire just shrugged indifferently and smiled at Dune, "Don't worry about it..."
"You... lived here?"
"Yes..." Claire said impatiently, "I used to live here with my father."
"Yeah--Grandpa says that your mommy was in heaven." Fuchsia said smiling. Both Claire and Dune stared at the little girl and just rolled their eyes. Something was off about her, but it was unclear what it was.
"We'd better go."
Claire scooped Fuchsia up off the ground and carried her toward the beach where they all boarded the familiar raft that Dune had built two whole years ago.
and then they were off once again.
Brooke, Cadac and Aaron ran through the town towards the large gate that marked the exit.
Brooke and Cadac ran inside the nearest building, hiding from the guards of the city. "You can't just steal things..." she said to him.
"And why the hell not?" he asked flatly as he took a bite out of his apple.
"Because this happens! We get chased!" Brooke lectured, "you are the worst companion EVER..."
"Aww... you don't mean that." Cadac smiled, offering her a pear.
"I'd prefer to eat real purchased food." Brooke scoffed.
"Well then perhaps i could help you with that." a boy said, holding out a basket of fruit.
"Oh," Brooke smiled at him, taking in his blonde hair. "Thank you so much!" She grabbed an apple from his supplies and took a big bite. "at least he knows how to treat a lady."
"Actually i stole these too." the boy laughed.
"Yeah!" Cadac smiled, "High five!" the boys reached over Brooke's head and high fived.
"I'm Aaron by the way..." he said, "What are your names?"
"It doesn't matter." Brooke said, "we're on our way out of town."
"What a coincidence," Aaron said, "So am I!
After a conversation with Raelynn, Aeros, Raelynn and Petra were waiting outside, calling up to Zarya and Archer, requesting that they come down.
"ARCHER!" Aeros called.
"ZARYA!" Raelynn called out a moment later.
"Hurry down! We need to talk to you!" Aeros continued.
"So...." Shana said a little louder so everyone could hear, "Where are we going?"

"ARCHER!" Aeros called.

"Hurry down! We need to talk to you!" Aeros continued.
"What's wrong?" Archer said, leaning so only his head was showing from the top of the roof. "I can't get her to come down. I'm going to drag her, hold on." Archer grabbed Zarya's hand and yanked her to the edge of the roof.((where are Wynnie and Sydney???))
Sira glanced at Arak, who was going along with everything. "Little one? Really Troy? I think at this time in YOUR life you had your head on right, somewhere in the last year you've seemed to put the love of your life in a depresstion and upset a lot of your friends. Hopefully Shana won't follow in her brothers footsteps!" she couldn't help it, she just wanted to snap him out of it. It was obvious that Shana wasn't just some girl to Troy, they were obviously related, and she took to gues that they were siblings.
Aeros spun in a circle and took some water from the surrounding air and threw it above his head to block the fall that was clearly coming. Within two seconds more, both Archer and Zarya were falling from the roof and into a water sheild which made Petra laugh really hard.
*************
"So... where are we going?" Archer asked.
"I told you... I don't know." Aeros said.
"And what do we have to talk about?" Zarya asked flatly.
"Well... you'll see." Aeros said as they rounded a large tree and saw Khana sitting with her back against the tree.
"Khana?" Zarya asked, "What is your sister doing here?"
"She..."
"I want you to come with me." Khana said, perking up, finally her wait was over. "I have something really really cool to show you all!"
"Is it far?" Raelynn asked, "i only ask because Petra is going to get tired.
Khana's happy smile fell dramatically as she rested her eyes on the child.
"You have a baby?" She asked.
Aeros and Raelynn exchanged nervous glances, "Mhm..." Raelynn said.
Khana shook off her confusion and began to lead them into the trees.
"We'll be there in two minutes at most." Khana said smiling over her shoulder.
The others looked at each other in worry, Khana was different... even Archer and Zarya who didn't hardly know the girl knew that something was off.
Shana and Troy both looked at Sira, but with different expressions etched upon their faces.
Shana was confused and Troy was just downright angry. "What do you mean?" he asked to Sira. "I--I barely know the girl."
"You're my brother?" Shana asked.
"Absolutely not." he said, "Just follow. We're almost there."
Shana looked to Sira who shrugged. "I'm... a sister? I have... family?" She asked Sira.

"No, Khana, just tell us first. Were not going anywhere without you telling." Archer glanced at Zarya, who glanced at him. Hopefully not all her will to live was gone, he thought, or he was doomed.Sira sighed. It was obvious they were of some relation. They HAD to be, she would have bet her life on it. "It doesn't matter." Sira snapped back at Troy. "You've made Zarya a mess and you know it." she growled. "If it were up to me, i'd have killed you in room, but your luck is running out quick."
"But it's just too exciting!" Khana sighed, "I'm so happy that you guys are coming..."
Everyone sighed and followed along until Khana spun around and said, "We're here!" she was smiling brightly and pulling a bush aside. They were at the base of a very green hill. "Just up here... and then ... the surprise will come soon enough."
Aeros and Archer exchanged rather worried glances and then followed the girl up the hill first, to be safe, with Petra, Raelynn and Zarya following behind.
Troy did his best not to attack Sira... she just didn't understand... soon she would see though! Soon... very soon
"We're here!" He smiled. "We just need to go up this hill now!"
Claire and Dune stepped off of the raft, feeling very sea sick. Fuchsia however was all smiles, and was ready to go again. "We'd better hurry mommy... we're gonna be late..." She grabbed a hand from each of them and began to run again.
Kirari stepped back into the bushes... it was time to let this play out. She looked over her shoulder at the five unconscious bodies... Brooke, Cadac, Aaron, Kerai, and Voril. She smiled to herself. She was such an accomplished woman.

Ryka stood, the little bronze ornament clutched in the palm of her hand. "You might want to stand back... this could take a few tries."
"Wait-" Ondryn's eyes flicked nervously from her own feet, to meet the eyes of one determined-looking Ryka. "We're doing it... now?"
"I'm not sure how long the transition will take. Just hold onto something. I don't want you getting hurt if there's a malfunction."
"Malfunction?" Ondryn gulped, hugging her arms close around herself. She wasn't sure why the sudden change of heart... but she knew there was no going back now.
Ryka locked eyes with her best friend. "You can still change your mind. You still have hope here. There's nothing left for me... but you... you have a family."
Theia's head was spinning. Her arms were burning. There was someone sitting beside her. She could hear the breathing... there was something cool and damp on her forehead, lowering her raging fever. She spluttered a cough and opened her eyes.
"She's awake. Quest, bring me the water." A gruff voice broke through the buzzing silence to her left. She turned her head in panic.
"Who are you?" She choked, attempting to sit upright until a hand forced her down again.
"My name is Izoda." The man told her kindly. A small girl ran over with a bottle of water, which he then took gently, and raised the bottle to Theia's lips. "Don't try to move... you'll only tear the stitches. Drink... that's it. Good job... a little more... good."
"Stitches?" Theia looked down her body, her clothes were torn and bloodstained. She caught a revolting sight of her mangled leg, and lay back wanting to vomit.
"Easy now." He spoke surely. "This is my daughter, Quest. We were just hiking by- little father-daughter camping trip. We heard you scream, and came running as fast as we could. What happened to you? If you don't mind my asking."
"I..." Theia furrowed her eyebrows in concentration. "I-" She couldn't remember. She looked around, taking in the many trees and growing morning light surrounding her. They were in some type of forest. Near the outskirts, because she could smell salt air of the coast, and the trees here were very thin.
"That's okay." Izoda coughed into a handkerchief. "
"Don't strain your memory. It isn't healthy. It'll all come back to you eventually, I'm sure."
"Alright..." Theia frowned, and winced as her conscious grew and she began noticing the pain in her arms and legs quickenning.
"Don't move Theia. You'll rip the stitches." Izoda scowled.
Her heart jumped. "Theia?"
"Oh shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit... Quest hun, bring me the soaked rag, don't let it touch your face."
Theia tried sitting up again, and this time was pushed back even harder. "How do you know my name?? How do you know me?!"
Izoda took the cloth from his trembling daughter, and locked Theia's arms to her sides so she wouldn't try to escape.
A clear thought shot through Theia's jumbled mind, as she struggled to move her face away from the approaching rag. She could smell the fumes emitting from it, making her head spin dizzily. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH MY SISTER?! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH HER?!?"
"Shh..." Izoda hushed her, "It's alright..." He brought the toxic fabric closer, and closed it around the girl's nose. "That's it... close your eyes... you're very tired aren't you? Just sleep... Forget... and sleep..."
Theia's eyes shut, and she drifted away into unconsciousness.
"Mommy, can we take Quest and daddy here sometime? I wanna go swimming." Talryn was skipping along the beach beside Rhia. She laughed a silent laugh and pinched his cheek affectionately.
The touching moment was suddenly broken by a loud crack of thunder followed by several streaks of violet lightning. Talfryn took hold of his mother's hand, and they melted into the trees.
Rhia motioned with one finger to her lips for Talryn to keep quiet. She peered through the leaves and saw a boy with pale hair, racing towards a light.
She and her son sifted through the tree line, making their way closer and closer to the light, which by now was visibly a fireplace. She could make out three figures, scrambling in every direction, packing up things from the now downpour of rain. They ran up the beach and disappeared into a small cabin.
She signed to her son to not talk. He was shivering, so she held him close. Soon they would find shelter. And after the rain... they'd do Kirari's bidding. unfortunately.
they waited ten minutes, and then she picked Talfryn up in her arms, and rushed towards the cabin, knocking furiously on the front door.

Sira growled at him, but followed, glaring. They were almost to the top when she noticed that Troy seemed a little worried. Sira took hhead and started warming her hands, the fimiliar tingling of her train power was comforting in a way.
Troy looked over his shoulders and laughed to himself, "Sira, you won't be needing to harm me. Nothing bad will happen upon this hill." She looked very unsure still though.
Soon they reached the top at the same time as the people on the other side of the grassy hill.
Khana waved at Troy as Raelynn, Aeros, Petra, Zarya, and Archer stood behind her.
"I present to thee--Archer!" Troy said to Sira.
"Shana!" Zestos hissed, "It's her!"
"I know..." They both stared at Zarya, hoping for the perfect moment to speak with her.
Troy ignored eye contact with Zarya, which wasn't hard as she was staring down at her feet.

Sira and Archer met eyes, and then both their eyes went to Zarya and Troy. "Troy.." Archer said, looking at him.
"He's messed up in the head. Still." Sira said, locking eyes with him again. "...how've things been?"
Archer's eyes went to her clothes and her still charcoled eyes and slightly curled hair. "I think i should be asking you that. How the heck did they get you in those clothes?"
At that Zarya's head came up and she looked at her. "You do not want to know." Sira said. "Now we do have buisness to conduct." And looked at Zarya dn Troy.

"Hurry your highness!" Arak said, he was standing by a float, which was next in line. Sira and her Aunt hurried over to the float, and reluctantly Sira climbed on, knowing that this would make her easily visable. Her father sat behind her, standing and waving high to everyone around them.
And the horses started to pull and they started off into the crowd.
