Brian I have heard that the series produced by Wonderworks actually improves in later installments. I have only seen the adaption of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe--can anyone tell me whether I should hunt down the other movies to watch on my own?

Sarah I loved these films as a kid. Revisted them as an adult and felt like the first three were decent, but Silver Chair was just horrendously bad.

Hillary Major I still love those films! The special effects may not be up to those in the recent movies, but these are still my favorite Narnia adaptations!

Hope I loved them as a kid and I still watch them to this day. They are a little hokey when watching them today but there is still something delightful about them. I love the Silver Chair mainly because Tom Baker (Doctor Who) plays Puddleglum.

Sarah Yes, I love them...I have a box set of them on DVD!

Hannah I remember those... they're a guilty pleasure of mine. :)

Stephanie You can prabobly find them on ebay, I think Walmart.com has them for sale on boxset as well. I'm spoiled though, I like the Disney versions as well.

Charlotte If these are the ones that were on television about 20 years ago and had Barbara Kellerman as the White Witch, then they are probably my favourite adaptation, though mostly for nostalgic reasons. I remember watching them throughout my early childhood, so they mean quite a lot to me, though seeing them now I can see that some of the special effects are quite dated. 'The L, W and W' is good, as is 'The Silver Chair' in my opinion. I did always find 'Prince Caspian' and 'The Voyage of the DT' a bit over-edited as they put these two books together in one 6-part series.

James Enjoyable adaption of the books even if they are now a bit dated. Got them on DVD somewhere

Victoria Lol, good times!

C. J. Scurria I have their Silver Chair adaptation because I was going through "withdrawal" (haha) with not being able to see another movie installment and I thought it wasn't bad. I liked it.
I enjoyed the acting and while the special effects were sometimes bad that shouldn't really matter I think.

Elisabeth Only saw the first but loved it even if the costumes (and the white witch) scared me and Lucy was beyond intolerable.
