I agree the De la cruz books don't seem to have the same intensity as some of the other Carpathian books

I was a little disapointed that his brothers didn't play a bigger part in his book. He was typical DeLaCruz (brutal even to his mate) in dealing with Marguerita, and definately with dealing with the "bad" guys.

I'm looking forward to when Christine will write about Skyler and Dimitri. I'm sure we all are."
My Mom & I are waiting for that one too. Looking forward to it.

Every life story has its merits, weaknesses and strengths - true?

It makes perfect sense. But was one of my least favorite. I get that the De la Cruz brothers are old world, but Zacarias pushed it a bit too far when he took Margarita's only form of communication away, which forced her to used him to communicate with others. A very abusive trait. Hopefully the Carpathian blood will eventually heal her. I want to go back to the book where she is injured and re-read that section.
