Yeah I'm a goober I put 2 am but I fixed it and it's now 2 pm. Although with all the insomnia posts perhaps 2 am would be better ;)
Wow, this event sounds fantastic! I am really going to try to attend. I may have to confirm a little closer to the date.
If you can't make it, send any questions that you have, they still can be asked. I am doing it from work!
My question for Annie Barrows, since she helped finish the book would be how did you ensure that your aunt's voice stayed true throughout the book when you were both working on it?
Great question Kate! One of my questions is: Would you consider a sequel, writing it on your own? (since so many of us want more!)
I would like a prequel rather than a sequel. I would love to know more about Elizabeth and her life. Wouldn't that be a fun twist?
I would like that too! I think both would be great actually. She could right about Elizabeth's daughter (I'm forgetting her name at the moment) in the sequel.
Prequel, sequel, I'll take 'em all!I would like to ask her if her aunt knew anyone directly impacted by the war, killed in the camps, etc. I felt her story ran so true and so deep, that I feel there MUST be a personal connection there, and I was wondering what that is.
I may not be home from the dentist in time, so my question(s):Annie, had you considered being involved with adult fiction before this? How was working on this different than working on your own ya/children's books? Would you consider writing adult fiction yourself or will you stick with ya/children's?

Annie Barrows will be here to chat with us. I am really excited. She has trouble with tendonitis and can't write for more than a 45 min stint. What I am suggesting is that we develop some questions now that she might be able to work on prior to meeting with us.
Please let me know if you will be able to attend. I feel really honored that she has accepted.
