Deirdre Hey everyone, I am new and have a question. There are a lot of lists out there on clean books, but I was wondering if there are any clean author lists. There are a lot of authors who have written one or two clean books among many, but how many are there that write all, or at least primarily clean or PG13?

Thanks in advance!

Kay Springsteen (kayspringsteen) | 14 comments Oh, please, if you find such a list put me on it. I write only G/PG rated novels. My publisher, Astraea Press only publishes clean reading.

Annie Oldham | 8 comments I write only clean reads. My first book, Dragon Sister, is a YA fantasy. My next book, The Burn, is a YA dystopian novel. It will be out in October. For more info, check out my website: www.annieoldham.com

Bayla | 7 comments Everything that I have read by the following authors has been clean:

Joan Bauer
Shannon Hale
Jessica Day George
Dianna Wynne Jones
L.M. Montgomery
Patricia C. Wrede
Vivian Vande Velde
Laurie Halse Anderson (though she usually has adult themes, so watch out)
Megan Whalen Turner
Georgette Heyer
Jane Austen, Dickens, Agatha Christie, Shakespeare etc. (most of the classics -- it's only fairly recently people decided everything needed to be spelled out...)

This is off the top of my head, so pretty random. I hope it's what you're looking for.

My YA fantasy series ALLON are all clean reads. I've had readers as young as 8 and old as 88.

Even THE HUGUENOT SWORD, my historical fiction for adults and with adult themes (scheduled from release in November) is clean.
