Vanessa (vanessamc) | 646 comments Do you ever imagine yourself being a character in the books? If so, would it be a character in the book such as Peabody, or a new character you've made up?

I'd be Eve because then I'd have Roarke. Enough said.

Dee Sauter (indeathaddict) | 1070 comments What a cool topic! I would be a combination of Eve and Mavis. I love strong women who is nobody's fool and I also think of myself as an individualist. Plus like Jonetta said, I would have two really hot men.

Or even Louise. A round with Charles....:)

Dee Sauter (indeathaddict) | 1070 comments Oh yeah! I didn't think of Charles but I don't think I could have put up with the other women. I realize he doesn't do it now, but the other women would be an impediment to a long term relationship. I wouldn't have minded a brief affair though.

Lorraine | 10 comments I love the life of Mavis. The stress Eve goes under and the things she sees would be too much for me eventually and I would definitely have to make more time for vacas than she does.

Having Roarke may compensate.

Vanessa (vanessamc) | 646 comments I like the idea of being either a best friend to Mavis and therefore Eve and Roarke, or another friend of Eve's. Being Eve would be cool, but I would rather fantasize about Roarke than have him. Maybe I could be Peabody and my hubbie could be McNab. What about a close friend to Roarke, maybe running my own business he's had a part in. I could make it a nightclub that sings only oldies and call it "Remember When". So many possibilities. What about an adopted duaghter of Summerset, thereby being kind of Roarke's surrogate sister. That one's a little far out there and wouldn't fit with the current themes of the books, but this is a fantasy, right, so who knows?

Grace | 42 comments Ohh cool question! LOLL I'm soo with Jonetta. I'd love to be Eve, because who wouldn't want to be with Roarke. But I'd also want to be Louise because then I'd get the sweet and skilled Charles.

Sara ♥ (saranicole) | 1038 comments I want to be Peabody! :)

Karon (agmommy) | 182 comments I think Dr. Mira! She seems to have a pretty neat life and she gets to be Mom to both Eve & Roarke :)

BTW I'm not her age, but she'd be a fun character to be......

message 11: by Cher (new)

Cher (sharpei) | 61 comments I would like to be a new character, not a villian mind you, but maybe a friend who works within Roarke Industries. A business woman with a great paycheck, lol, and a chance to live in NY in the future. That would be too cool.

Dee Sauter (indeathaddict) | 1070 comments I might like to be Roarke. You know REALLY HOT, SEXY, SMART, SEXY, TOUGH, and RICH.

message 13: by Trish (new)

Trish Bash (trishbash) | 2 comments I'm with Cheri, I'd love to be a new character - business woman - owning an art shop of some sort with Roarke as an investor.

Why would you like to be her?

message 15: by Dee (new)

Dee Sauter (indeathaddict) | 1070 comments I think I would also like to be Summerset. Of course, I am not anal at all, but I think it would be fun to figuratively speaking goose Eve.

I just like her a lot... She's soft, but tough, you know? She's doing what she wants to do, even though her family would rather she do something different. Plus, I LOVE McNab! :)

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

Personally I like McNab, he makes me laugh. Although he's a bit of a sex-mad guy and I'm a woman, but his character really makes me laugh! I think he's kinda cute in his behaviour too, the way he worries over Peabody and steals flowers for her. He's not got all the suave and power of Roarke, but he's smart, funny and an all around decent guy!

message 18: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (ezepeze11) | 582 comments I would want to be Eve. So so so so much.

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

Roarke's dad wanted a son, but that's not to say he didn't already have a daughter, one born from rape. So I thought I would want to be Roarke's sister, a cop out of Dublin. Similar to Peabody, but working as a captain in the sexual homicide division. They all meet up when a predator leaves Ireland for NY.

message 20: by Dawn (new)

Dawn | 3250 comments I never thought of that, Cassandra. I would absolutely love to be his sister. Self-made, but would be ( eventually) accepted by him.

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

Thanks Dawn. :)) you get what I meant

message 22: by Sara ♥ (new)

Sara ♥ (saranicole) | 1038 comments I can't see any woman having sisterly feelings toward Roarke! That's just weird! But then, I suppose he's got a ton of cousins now who (HOPEFULLY) only feel cousin-ly about him... That would be a fascinating story!

message 23: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth | 127 comments Most people think I'm weird, but I've always wanted to be Caro. My real-life job has always been working in some sort of Administrative capacity, and my dream job would be to work as a personal assistant for a big-wig. Working for Roake would be my ultimate job. If I could be Caro, I'd get to be around him all the time, and he depends on me for so much. Me likey... LOL

message 24: by Jonetta (new)

Jonetta (ejaygirl) | 15068 comments Mod
I don't think that's weird. Roarke would be a GREAT boss. He's super smart, efficient, tough when he needs to be but always fair. A good judge of people. There would be lots to learn from him and he seems to be a good teacher.

Sign me up!

message 25: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth | 127 comments Man, not just the perfect husband, but the perfect boss! After some of the jerks I've worked for, I'd be happy to work with the tough and demanding because, like you said, he'd always be fair -- and always seems to be grateful, which is so rare these days.

message 26: by Jonetta (new)

Jonetta (ejaygirl) | 15068 comments Mod
I agree, Elizabeth. Tough and demanding doesn't bother me if he/she is fair and doesn't demoralize or tear you apart.
