I feel the same way... I would love a book about Ian. Gosh he's so darn hot.
Janice, honey nothing takes the edge off :) Have you read
The Bronze Horseman?

The story of Brian and Ellen sounds like it would make a great story from the little that has been included in the other books.

Hi Apple,
DG jus responded to speculation on whether 8 was the last book. She said: "And no, it certainly doesn't give any intimation that this is the last book. What about it sounds like "THIS IS THE END?" IF it should turn out to be the last book, I'd tell you straight out. At the moment, I'm thinking the odds are against it being the final one, but I won't know that for a few months yet.". Ohh, Thank You !
Well, I have mixed feelings about it I don't want the story to end but I don't want to have to wait for 4-5 years to know how it'll end. I know I sound selfish but I'm a really impatient person sometimes.
Thanks Again :D
Ok so I LOVE Jamie and Claire and Roger and the kids and Ian and Rachel and well I like Willie and Bree a little but ummm a book 9? They are well into their 60's maybe 70's by the time book 8 finishes. Let these people live out their last years in peace... my take on it... don't kill me.
Mirely, I agree... I just want Jamie and Claire sitting up on the ridge (view spoiler) in peace. I hope the story transitions to the younger characters at some point because I would love a story about Jem and Ian.
Janice wrote: "I can't wait until the next book comes out. I am going through withdraws. Does anyone have any ideas of a series to read while we all have to wait to take the edge off."Definately the Bronze Horseman trilogy. Everyone from that site loves Outlander and everyone from this site loves TBH. It's the only other series that can compare to Outlander - the only one.

Amen, Carren!!!
