I love the Fever series too, and I'm hoping the casting job is well done. Right now, I can't think of any well known actors that could do any of the characters justice. I mean, who could be cast as V'lane?! Barrons?!!!
Exactly Michelle. As soon as I read the article, I thought who the hell would play Barrons? V'lane? Not one actor popped into mind. I also didn't like that they compared it to Harry Potter. Two separate series!

I guess casting this series would be liking casting the BDB books. There just isn't any actor that can do the characters justice. Probably because these men are perfect fantasies that no human man can live up to.
See Barrons was just frustrating and initially I didn't see him in a positive light but he eventually won me over and no one can compare. LOL.

Davina, I hope you can get around to starting the series soon. It's one of my favorites, and I find it to be a combination of romance, dark fantasy, and mystery/ suspense.

You can't take someone well known like Hugh Jackman (whom I love), and mold them into Barrons. No way, no how!!
Yes Davina should get to this series soon. I love this series. I admit that I didn't love the series at first. Mac got on my nerves and the first book was hard for me to get into. After hearing the raves from fans, I went back and listen to the first book in audio and got sucked into it. I finished it up in audio. Couldn't read it and loved it.@ Michelle, they need unknown actors/actresses b/c it would be hard for me to picture people that I know to play the characters. Hugh, as much as I love him, appears to old to play Barrons. I want someone young and fresh.

I don't know, but I'm getting the vibe that Barrons would have to be played by a seasoned actor in order to get his character right. Seasoned, not necessarily well-known, but someone with broad experience perhaps both on stage and screen.
Barrons is old as dirt but he looks as though he is 30. I happen to agree that the actor needs to be seasoned. I really would love for you to read the series to know exactly what I'm talking about.
