What do you think of a "group watch"?

AA wants to try something new. You know what a "group read" is, well what do you think of a "group watch"? Movies are such a large part of action/adventure as a genre this might be fun.

There are so many movies and directions this could go. So I'm thinking to narrow down the field we'll need two polls. First to nominate and vote on themes and then on seperate movies.

Any suggestions? Comments? Rules?

Any ideas on how to vote on movies?

We could open a thread to nominate themes, have a poll vote, then have another thread to nominate movies, and finally a vote on movies.

But it might make more sense to see how small this group will be. And skip unnecessary steps. To keep it more simple I could just put up a poll with generic themes and go from there.

Or the easiest might be just to start with nominating movies and have one poll.

There's another option. We could go along with the theme for the group read. I think I like this. I like the idea of the club having one theme. Also it would cut down on poll confusion.
