As I think of them, I will be posting questions for us to discuss. Feel free to add any 'food for thought' questions you may have.



General Question: Do you want Ari & Janco to find love (which could split them up) or do you want them to stay bantering single twins?

Glass Series Question: Devlen has done some horrid things, do you think he can truly redeem himself and find happiness? And does he deserve a second chance?

I don't think them finding love would have to split them up...

But I think I prefer them single anyways. I think they're made for each other. Not (necessary) as lovers but they do love each other more then they could ever love anyone else! (not that they would ever admit that!) And I think that if they found someone, the other person would feel jealous and miserable.

Summary of what was discussed there:

Me and Devlen have a love/hate relationship.

And the love triangle (Kade-Opal-Devlen) confused me, because I love Kade too!

And of course when he tortured Opal! I couldn't love him when he did that!

Thats why Maria is such a great writer! She completely surprised me with the switching feelings I had for Devlen (and for Kade as-well, cause the more I loved Devlen the more I disliked Kade!) (hide spoiler)]

But then someone said she disliked the Glass-series because of Devlen. (view spoiler)[She was abused once, and couldn't believe someone would love someone who did that to her (hide spoiler)]

It's like being an alcoholic or drug addict. Many people do horrible things while drunk (like driving a car and killing someone) and they'll rob and mug people for money to buy more drugs. But once they overcome the addiction they can be very different people. I've sat through a number of assemblies in high school and listened to young men and women tell their horror stories and how they overcame the addiction and are now helping others not to make the same mistakes they did. My opinion on the matter is (view spoiler)[that (for me) the Devlen who raped her and the Devlen who she fell in love with where two different people in the same body. This is because he was addicted. (hide spoiler)] So I believe the victim could forgive the person who attacked her. If he did feel truly sorry and he did show he had changed.

Now back to the question at hand: Devlen has done some horrid things, do you think he can truly redeem himself and find happiness? And does he deserve a second chance?

I think he deserves the second change, you can read why if you read back.

But I don't think he can ever find truly happiness. Because he'd feel guilty. Others could forgive him, but if he's really changed he could never forgive himself!

Good point Renee. In the future, I will post one question at a time. I wasn’t sure how much interest I would stir up, that’s why I decided on two questions to start.

-Ari & Janco, I wouldn’t want the dynamic between the twins to completely change but I think it would be fun to see what would happen if you throw a love interest in the mix. I’m thinking the female guard who helped Opal in the Glass series…my mind is blanking on her name at the moment. It would have to be someone who could keep them in line.

I will have to tackle the Devlen question tonight when I have more time.

I think if Ari and Janco found love they could never be split up, those two are rock solid! :) But If I were to pair them off with someone, Dilana and Janco would be a really sweet couple and I think Ari and Maren (even though I can't see that lasting :p)

Ari and Janco fighting over a girl? Hhmm, that could be good or bad. I think they would banter a lot more but I wouldn't want to see them physically fight it out unless no one was hurt.
