Denna (dholm) | 1 comments Ditto on Marita Hansen's Behind the Hood. http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/12... I read it all in one sitting, couldn't put it down. Awesome read about New Zealand gangs in the rough part of town. Shows a side of New Zealand you probably haven't read about before. Definitely one you don't want to miss out on.

Gerald Griffin (authorgeraldggriffin) | 15 comments Naturally, I'd first recommend my novel OF GOOD AND EVIL because of its many 5-star reviews, but for my purpose here I highly recommend RASCISS by Shane Porteous.

For those of you who like fantasy (and for those who don't normally read fantasy) you'll love RASCISS, a marvelous and compelling dark fantasy tale action-packed with excellent writing. A review of this fabulous book can be found on my author's blog, http://geraldggriffin.blogspot.com

Gerald Griffin (authorgeraldggriffin) | 15 comments I'd like to recommend a visit to my current online book tour for my acclaimed suspense thriller OF GOOD AND EVIL.

Interested in a profound, reflective atmosphere, where you can cuddle and read something astonishing challenging your imagination, making your time spent more than worthwhile; time taking you into a world beyond imagination?!

If so, then I invite you to share company with the sages of OF GOOD AND EVIL, those literary oracles who know this gripping world intimately.

Where do you sign up? You don't. Rather, you simply click, http://nurtureyourbooks.com/vbtblog/?... , your gateway to this world. First you are warmly greeted by a beautiful banner of harmony that will introduce you to your guiding hosts, each eagerly awaiting you to share their secrets.

You're then taken just below, into the Room of Wisdom. There, in continuing harmony, you'll find listed the first names of your sagacious hosts, each patiently waiting to share with you the pleasure of their wisdom. But they are there only for a short while, from November 7 to the 18th of this year, available on different dates within this time frame. Then they are gone, their Room of Wisdom closed for all eternity.

Below the name of each host on the day of his or her appearance is the designation for their room. By clicking this designation you immediately find yourself in another room, one unique in its grand design, its grandeur embracing you with serene nobility. Your welcoming host graciously greets you, ready to reveal the unimaginable. What happens next you will have to experience firsthand. My gift to you.

J.D. Mader (jdmader) | 6 comments 'Stop Time' by Frank Conroy is an amazing book. Cannery Row/Sweet Thursday.

I'll go ahead and recommend you check out my books, too. 'Joe Cafe' is a pretty intense exercise in psychological fiction. 'The Biker' is a modern western, but not. 'Please, no eyes.' is comprised of a decades work in short form.
