I read that over the weekend. Really fun book. St. John has a sense of humor that comes across in her writing."

Man, now I really want to read it!

Charlotte's a "new to me" author I want to try!

That's cool! What anthology was it?

Ausjenny | 225 comments I finished Sarah Sundins Blue Skies Tomorrow A Novel by Sarah Sundin

Its really really good. Wish I had read the other two books too but if you haven't you can still follow the story no worries.

I've felt that way lately. I'm going to make a concerted effort to slow down and enjoy the stories... the characters...a little more. "

That's a good point! I sometimes feel like I'm rushing, but other times I'm so caught up in the story that I slow down and just get lost.

I read a blog post by Sarah (I think this week) where she said she arranged the release party for Blue Skies Tomorrow to be held in the theatre shown on the cover. I thought that was cool.

Cara Lynn (caralynnjames) | 6 comments I have so many books that I can't possibly finish for another 100 years. And I keep buying more. If I could only read faster, maybe I'd at least get through more of them than I do now. I've also run out of bookshelf space so I buy them for Kindle for Mac. Reading is my obsession.

Trying to read faster doesn't help. I'm still fairly slow.

Camy, if you've ever watched Criminal Minds and enjoyed it, you will LOVE Steven James' series. I passed it on to my 16yo and he's just as hooked. We started with The Bishop, went back and read The Knight. Recently found a copy of The Pawn, but that may have to wait until after The Queen.

I haven't seen Criminal Minds, but my mom is hooked on that show. I'll have to definitely check his series out!

After you finish reading, you can pass your copies on to Mom. She'll love them.

Sarah Sundin (goodreadscomsarah_sundin) | 3 comments It's true :) The party's on Sunday at El Campanil Theater in Antioch CA - they're also showing the classic film "The Best Years of Our Lives." I'll be signing and giving away books, Big Band CDs and vintage aprons. There's a full description on my Goodreads author page if any NorCal people are interested. It's going to be so much fun!

Sandra (goodreadscomsandraardoin) | 60 comments Sounds like an awesome party. I love that movie--Frederic March and Myrna Loy (I think).

I'm so glad you confirmed that, Sarah. I hoped I hadn't dreamed it. :-)
